When it’s time it’s time and they do offer several options from cottages to apartments. For me personally it’s been a relief having my (now) ex mother in law in this area, as she’s needed so much extra attention, assistance, property maintenance for a decade longer before she had no choice post Hurricane Michael. For ea individual or family member considering assisted living, think of your own health and age and what demands you’re putting on those you lean on. I’m entirely too young to be in this position due to a widow and her negligent offspring ignoring the need of assistance and I understand it’s a lovely property and above all, it’s keeping others safe as well; as she’s not able to blindly pull the shenanigans there she did on her own. She’s well looked after, has assistance available extremely near, it’s what they’re paid and trained to do. My ex husband and I alone could not meet all of her demands let alone her property upkeep, traveling arrangements, healthcare. It lead to divorce and decline of my personal health and children and grandchildren relationships. Don’t wait until you or your elderly family member(s) destroys your own health and well being. Sometimes it’s best for all and that’s ok. Don’t be afraid of your parents. Each inquiry I’ve made has been kind and hospitable. The staff provided me with ample literature to consider for myself.

The experience we had with Seagrass has been outstanding. Robin has been so helpful and makes you feel like she is your best friend and will help you in every way. We are looking forward to moving into one of the gorgeous homes. It feels like we have a new family that cares about us.

This place is AMAZING!!! When I started looking for a place for my mother, I thought assisted living was the only option until I found Seagrass Village Independent Living. It is a fraction of the cost of assisted living with amazing food and activities that are more like a cruise ship or staying at a resort. At first I was hesitant because I didnt want to put mom in independent living then potentially have to move her to assisted living later on but with the help of home health, Seagrass Village Independent Living is the PERFECT place for my mother.
