I am the kitchen director and head chef here at memory lane cottage and I can’t speak on things that was happening before I got here. But I will tell you this the staff we have here now are some of the best people I have ever worked with. Med techs and care givers are awesome and take good care of our residents with so much compassion and you really have to have a heart for people I tell you what this is not just a job for us we love our residents and we show it every day and let me not talk about the head nurse Katrina is the bomb.com one of the best nurses I know she is very attentive to our residents and she never miss a beat she is always on it so any issues anyone had in the past with memory lane cottage trust and believe we are good over here if you want to place your family member here it is highly recommended our residents are more then residents to us they are family and not just a number and I can’t leave out the delicious homemade food that’s prepared every single day with love for our residents. Come by and see for yourself.

I’m currently new with the community. The staff, families and the provider that follows the community welcomed me with open arms. The community maybe small however it’s filled with love, care and passion. The residents are happy. The families are happy. The staff is happy. I’m glad to be apart of the team. If you or someone you know is looking for a community that will provide personalized care, keep them engaged in activities and love them as their own, I recommend stopping by and taking a tour

I've recently called the facility to receive information ingards to senior living. I spoke with staff member Katrina. I explained to her the kind of care I was looking for. Katrina was very helpful in explaning that the facility is a 20 bed community that specializes in alzhimer and dementia. Even tho thats not what I was looking for, Katrina was kind enough to look up other facilities that offer assisted living and independent living care. She took the extra mile to look up phone numbers and addresses. If she took the time out to help me, imagine what she does for the residents and their families.

I'm fairly new with the community and will say this is by far the best community I have worked for. From the first moment I walked through the doors, I knew this was the place for me! I was greeted with smiling faces and warm hearts. The administrator Jerry shows his dedication to staff, residents and families. The Nurse/Resident Care Director Katrina is doing an amazing job leading the care staff team. She is not only great at what she does, she is very organized and takes time to explain things and give examples. She has no problem helping out on the floor. Debbie keeps the residents engaged with activities throughout the day. The care staff loves their residents. I've never worked for a community where staff gives out hugs to their residents. The food is amazing here. The residents love meal time. If you are looking for a place that will love your family member unconditionally, Memory Lane is the place.

this place is terrible that ed Jerry doesn't not care for his staff or residents his mean to the residents he is even nasty to the families any time you call to speak to any managers they tell the caregiver to make up lies and say there busy of some sort. when they are doing nothing but don't take my word for it just if you put your families there you will see the nurse melody Duncan is even worse she doesn't care she forces workers to work even when they have their on families to get home to she is a director of nursing she's not even there for her staff when needed this place is already under staff there is no structure no team work they might as well let the staff run the place which they basically do anyways i can write a book about this unprofessional place and one more thing what ever they tell you when you go on these tours is all lies the activity lady call even do activities because he's always working on the floor as a caregiver residents are always in their room instead of doing productive things which makes them go down even more and decline I passionately wholeheartedly tell you do not put your family's here and for people who are looking for a job to not work here you will be treated like trash I'm looking at all these other reviews and how good this place is my family really don't know how bad this place is because they put on a drill press on the make this place look bad if you ever go on a tour just look how far the director of nursing office is meaning she doesn't want to be up close with her resident to help her caregivers so please people don't be Bamboozled into bringing your families into this place because they don't care they really don't care I don't know where all these good reviews are coming from they must be where there before Melody Duncan and Jerry Erskine was there because this place is terrible for workers and for families who want to put their family in there please avoid that bullet they do not care about your family members

I am the RCD here at Memory Lane Cottage and first,I would like to apologize for the ugliness you are having to read from previous employee's and Ms Linda(who now employee"s Layota nation). As we all know, previous employees who leave cursing and throwing things at management typically don't come to google with nice things to say. Ms Latoya was terminated for reasons I am not going to disclose, but please take that into account as you read her untruths. Also, she would approach other family members sharing information that was untrue about her parents "recruiting" other families to leave our building. Unfortunately, she was successful with a few families, but that is ok, we are building back better than EVER! We have been open almost 7 years now and are deficiency free. We have never been cited for ANYTHING..and I welcome any of you to swing by our lobby to view our AHCA logs!

A very nice community that cares deeply for each resident. If you or a loved one you know need specialized dementia care of some kind this could be the place for them. This community is designed from the ground up to be that special place.
