It had been a rough year for my Mom. In August of 2023, she had an amputation of her big toe due to melanoma. In September she had shingles. In October she had Covid. In November a severe UTI landed her in the hospital, from there she was sent to a rehab facility. At the rehab facility she caught pneumonia and was in the hospital again. She needed 24/7 care and we found it at Savannah Court. My Mom has been a resident there since January 5th and has flourished. She is healthy and so well cared for. She has her own room and bath, decorated with furnishings from the home she loved. She has kind and caring people that do their best to make sure she has all the help she needs, yet never squashing what little independence she has left. We, as a family, have also been cared for receiving assistance and guidance for all we need financially so that Mom's stay is well covered. We have not met one person in this facility that wasn't caring and helpful. When we leave after a visit, we all as a family feel the same, Mom is well cared for, happy, and safe. Many thanks to, Tracy, Thelma, Shar, Leo, and the many workers that give our family that assurance every day.

My mother had taken ill several months ago with stage 4 cancer. She was all alone in her house and needed around the clock care. So, we did some research and took several tours of assisted living properties in Seminole County and Lake County. We tried a very expensive facility in Leesburg and it was very beautiful but it was very large and there were no personal care. We tried a facility that the hospital recommend and the staff were very over worked and unfriendly. Lastly we went to Savannah Court in Oviedo and my mother feel in love with the size of Savannah Court . There were 2 houses for her to choose from and the room sizes are perfect. The staff made you feel like family. Tracy the director and Char are amazing and couldn't do enough for us. They always greeted us with big hugs and a smile. My mother has able to move around and join the fun activities that were going on, but unfortunately she is now bed bound and unable join, Everyday I visit mom, she is always washed, clothed, hair combed, clean room, fresh sheets. She just keeps saying how great all the staff take care of her. I know she is in great hands with Savannah Court and I cant thank them enough for the peace of mind I have when I can not be with her.

The staff is very welcoming and caring. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for this company. The passion and genuine concern for the residents was obvious, they say home is where the heart is, it felt like home, the residents are like family. I reached out to this facility a while back but never followed through mom was totally hesitant, changes over time I reached out again, a call back from a familiar voice S H A R at the sound of her kind patience and understanding tone of voice I was filled with an instant sense of well-being and hope. Shar offered helpful, and useful advice which calmed my feelings of frustration and angst. The facilities support and guidance was invaluable to my family and me, I have received more support form this community for my mom than anyone else, she has made a few friends says the food is good love the activities, knowing my mom I am surprised at how well she is adjusting; it's been a journey mom is finally opening up to the possibility of a new home. Blessed and Thanks to All The Staff at Savannah Court & Cottage Shar, Tracy can't name you all for the important service provided to a vulnerable community and to the families who so often are suffering from fear, anxiety and confusion concerning placement for their loved ones.

Shar, Paris and Ellie are the best! This community is so loved by those who actually work on site - you won't find better. However, this business is not privately owned. Beware of corporate. If Corporate had the same standards as those on site - it would be perfect. Disconnected and literally have zero clue. 1 person at Corporate, Ashleigh, is so disconnected she is absolutely useless, but pretends she has a pulse on the community.

Although my mother will not be moving to live at Savannah Court I would recommend it. Dan has been very helpful throughout the process. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. There were no pressure tactics just supportive conversation that allowed for me to make an informed decision.

I dont leave reviews but I feel this is needed for such a sensitive life changing move...I want to start off saying this place is a hidden gem. Growing up in the area I am so happy to find a place that I feel completely comfortable about taking care of my father. My father said he would never live in a home and after our visit with Matthew it completely changed his mind. After talking to Paris and the staff we really felt at home. The residents seem very happy and well taken care of and are not afraid to tell you. My father being specifically placed next to another veteran really showed me how much they care about their residents. He is so happy and thats all I can ask for. Ive stopped by unannounced multiple times and have gone through the covid protocol. They take the health and wellbeing of the staff and residents very seriously. Thank you guys so much!!

My 3 siblings and I reluctantly decided to find an assisted living for our mom. I visited four in the Oviedo area. After touring SC myself, I brought my mom for lunch and a tour. While there, I learned 3 people I know have one of their parents currently living at this community. All of them had positive comments about SC. That was a great comfort and I felt this was the right choice. Our mom has been living at SC now for about 10 days and so far, so GREAT! All of the employees from the nurses to dining & activities staff, housekeeping, CNA's, & management truly care for the well being of the residents and are kind and patient. She has never asked us to come get her, no phone calls, no crying, no angst of any kind! When the woman who raised you and cared for you all your life needs more quality care than you are able to provide, its time to do the right thing and this was definitely the right choice for our mom! She is enjoying the activities, the company of others her age, and she noted the food is very good! I honestly love this home for our mom and highly recommend it to those of you having to make this difficult decision.

My husband and I are so greatful to find such an amazing assisted living physicality for my mother in law. It's like it's your own home. Nice and cozy. The food is so good my mother in law can't stop talking about it and everyday there's something going on. The staff goes above and beyond to help you and entertain you. I highly recommend it. If I could give them 100 stars I would because they are worth it.

My mom has been at Savannah Court for almost 18 months and it was then and still is the best decision for our family. We had looked at several facilities within an hours drive but knew when we walked in that Savannah Court would be perfect for us. First, it’s absolutely clean without feeling institutional. I’ve come and gone at various times in the day for the past year and I have never seen even the slightest hint of needing attention. I have looked in on the kitchen at various times and it is always very clean. The staff does an amazing job. The second reason why we liked Savannah Court is that it really does feel like home. A few of the other places we looked at were rather large and may have been well known but I was concerned that my mom might get overlooked or that her needs might not be met just because they were so big but the way Savannah Court is arranged offers a much more cozy and intimate setting, Mom can join activities if she wants or relax in her room as she feels and will not be forgotten. The staff is amazing, just amazing. The Director, Susan, to the newest employee, they all go out of there way to make sure each resident feels special. My Mom has some special dietary needs and every Monday morning Susan finds my Mom to give her a piece of fresh fruit, now that isn’t required, it wasn’t expected, it’s just one of the many ways they go a little bit extra for each resident and I know they do something special for every single one of the residents. I’m not sure if I can mention all the names but I think I have met every employee and they all really do take care of mom. If I’m not feeling well or just can’t get to my Mom on a particular day I know that she’s getting everything she needs. There are hundreds of assisted living facilities in our area but there’s only one Savannah Court. I know without any doubt that we choose the best place for us. One more bit of information, I’m a retired RN and I’m pretty picky about who takes care of my family when I can’t and Savannah Court has exceeded all my expectations. I hope I get the same level of care that my Mom is getting when it’s time for me to look into assisted living.

This will be the third home I put my mother in and can totally tell this place with be a great fit. The staff is friendly and willing to work with the resident. The facility is clean and smells normal. Sandra, who help me set my mother up was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me and she listen to my expectations. Best kept secret in Oviedo! My mom and I toured so many assisted living facilities from Oviedo, Orlando, Altamonte and Sanford. We knew right away when we walked into Savannah Court. Sandra and Ann are very nice and answered all our questions. When we toured the facility the residents were approaching us to tell us how much they LOVE living here. We didn’t have that happen anywhere else we visited! My mom has been there almost 2 months and loves all the residents and staff. It’s not a huge building that houses 100 people! It’s easy to get to know the staff and the staff to get to know you. My mom had a small incident and the nurse was so sweet and offered to sit with her for a bit. Very personalized service. Everyone that works there seems to really love their jobs and love what they are doing! It has made the transition for my mom so much easier. I’m so happy we found them!

I knew when I entered Savannah Court this would be the best place for my mom. Trust me, I visited quite a few. The administrative staff, especially Sandra Hernandez and Ann Morales quickly answered all my (many) questions, and put my mind to ease. The have gone above and beyond in making the move in easy. The facility is clean, and feels like home. My mother loves! The facility is small enough that the staff truly knows everyone, which is perfect for making sure your loved ones are cared for, and not just a "resident." It is also large enough that they offer many activities, outings, and events. What first took me here, was a good friend placed her grandmother here, and said it was the "BEST" and her grandmother was "so happy." Cannot get a better recommendation than that!

It's kept very clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. There are activities available for anyone who wants to participate. The staff is great! The food is great! They help me and my family breathe knowing he is in good hands.

Having a parent have to leave their home and move into an assisted living facility is not an easy experience for anyone, but luckily for our family it has proved to be a very positive experience. I am so incredibly thankful that we found Savannah Court and Cottage. From the moment you walk in the door it feels homey and warm. The rooms are spacious and clean and the grounds are very pretty. They offer daily activities and special events during the month for the residents to enjoy. My Mom's favorites are the word search game and the jewelry making classes. What really makes Savannah special is though is the staff. They truly care about their residents and they go out of their way to be sure the residents are happy and comfortable. A huge thanks to Sandra Rivera for being patient with us and continuing to check in with us as rooms became available, and to Susan the Administrator for bringing Mom and I breakfast in Mom's room when she was sick and I stayed over night, and to all the great nurses, (Daphne, Olivia, and Shantel to name as few) that have taken sure good care of Mom when she has battled a few medical issues. And a huge thanks to all of the med techs and staff that help my mom on a daily basis, you guys are wonderful, there are too many to list, but we appreciate each one of you. One of the things I especially appreciate is the outstanding customer service. My calls are always answered, staff always gets back with me when they say they will and they always call me when there is a concern or issue. My Mom now refers to Savannah as home and when she has to be away for some reason is always happy to get back. Kim

My brother in law is still adjusting to this community, but we do feel comfortable with his move here. It is a nice community with kind people. The staff is very friendly. They do a good job keeping everything nice, and clean. My brother in law is a point where he cant really do activities, but there some available for the residents. The meals are great. He loves the food, and is eating very well. So far everything is moving in a positive direction for us here at this community.
