My mother was recently placed there for memory issues. We had looked at several places in Ocala and were really impressed with the facility and staff at Superior. The building was in top shape and very clean. When you walk in , you don't smell anything like other places we visited. Samantha A. walked us through the facility and answered all the questions we had about care and activities. She has continued to check on my mother daily to get her accustomed to her new home and encouraging her to attend the activities. Mom says she likes the food there and that's a plus. The biggest surprise after going over all that is provided there, it's one price instead of added charges for this or that like at all other places we checked. I highly recommend Superior Residences at Ocala Hills.

I just moved my sister into Superior of Cala Hills. It has been a wonderful experience for both she and I so far. The staff was so helpful with moving her things into her room, setting up connections for her tv and making her feel comfortable. They have been extremely attentive to her and are providing her with do many great services. I just can't say enough about how thankful we are to have found them. Truly a blessing to find such a compassionate group of people. Thank you so much!

Superior has come a long way in a year… yes there has been changes but all for the good… best value for your money the residence are always clean you never walk in to a urine smell… I can't say enough good things are the current staff … unit 2 girls are all caring . If in doubt I highly recommend you stop by and check them out…

Cynthia in Activities is an absolute doll! The passion for the residents shows in her work. She has a way of explaining Dementia so that I can understand it clearly. Greg the new director of nursing really cares about each resident as if they are his own family and that makes me feel good about putting my father there. Not sure who's in charge of hiring these two extraordinary people, but I see a huge difference in this location everytime I visit.

My mother is a resident here and I'm currently living in France. I can't thank the Activity Director enough at making sure my mom is active and participating. Cynthia creates videos so that families have a way to look in on the resident through Facebook and I'm thankful for each firsthand account my mother experiences.

In my opinion, a five star review by far isn't enough! Superior is most definitely living by its name. And deserves a much higher rating! Taylor, Kristen and all of the staff have been absolutely wonderful to my dad, mom and family.. The staff is exceptional and go way beyond their job duties. The residents are truly their friends and family. And the smiling faces of both the staff and residents show how much they care. God chooses people for all kinds of jobs, and these fine men and women are truly angel's to the residents! They have solutions to every situation and the environment is a beautiful and positive environment. I always felt as though no place would be good enough for my dad, but this facility is perfect and exceptional! Thank you so very much

I just want to say what a blessing everyone at Superior Residences has been to my mom and us. They took what seemed like an insurmountable issue and they were able to place my mom within 24 hrs. Taylor was quick to respond and was able to make things happen quickly and she was patient and most helpful. Deb was able answer all of our questions. Thank you to the entire staff for making such an emotional and trying time, so much easier.

I wanted to publicly praise the Superior Residences at Cala Hills in Ocala, Florida. Many people always want to point out the negative in everything, yet never seem to try to find the positives especially now in our world. I certainly believe that positive praise should be given to the staff and management at Superior Residences at Cala Hills. From the moment my mother and I moved to Ocala, I have watched the outside of this building go from sub-par to absolutely stunning! The staff that has taken over is fantastic and has created such an appealing, clean and well manicured curbside appeal! If the outside looks this great, I can only imagine how much work they have put into the inside for their residents and staff!!! This is an exceptional and fundamental piece for families to consider when planning for their loved ones who may someday need special care and living assistance. The staff at Cala Hills are very professional and caring. They truly want the best for their residents and their families, especially during these unprecedented and scary times we are living in. I am proud of the visual changes this facility has made in the past year or so and it is very noticeable with the changes outside! Kudos to all staff and management! I have recently had to make the decision to bring my husband to Superior Residences at Cala Hills. The facility was recommended to me by both my care coordinator, as well as the Care Patrol representative, Caressa, whom I worked with.Taylor, the sales director, is wonderful, and I have heard glowing reports regarding Deborah, the facility director, who has big plans for the programs there, as well. Robert, the director of the nursing staff is great, and the assisting staff are as caring as they can be.The new management under Deborah and Taylor and the others will be making some excellent changes going forward from what Ive heard were in place in the past, and my husband says everyone is very kind to him. Of course hed like to come back home, but for a home away from home, and a place that can take better care of him now that I am no longer able to manage his care due to his decline in health, I feel comfortable with him living at Superior.Furthermore, Superior fills a much needed gap of placing residents in one of three distinctive neighborhoods, according to the level of care they need, as opposed to most memory care facilities where all the residents are together, regardless of their competency levelSuperior may not have all the fancy bells and whistles of some facilities, but when it comes to what matters most--caring and attentive staff--I am pleased.

A family member has been at the Cala Hills facility since December, 2017. The entire staff, from the Director on down, creates a caring environment in every respect. I have dealt with other facilities with other family members and Cala Hills is, by far, the best one I have ever experienced.
