Having toured 6 independent/assisted living communities, The Gallery at Northport surpassed all others. Chrissy from Sales escorted our first tour and was amazing. Chrissy showed the us the room options and explained the different services offered in Independent living and assisted living. She asked insightful questions and had in-depth knowledge of the industry. Since the Gallery was at the top of our short list, we returned, this time accompanied by our family member for whom we had started the search. (who is sometimes difficult to please and somewhat reluctant to change.) Chrissy arranged the tour that was given by Alexis. It was great teamwork as Alexis was also excellent. We felt like we were part of the family. My family member was very impressed and is planning his move from NYC to the Gallery in the fall. He is like a changed man after his experience. Had an amazing evening at the Gallery of North Port with the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce! The hospitality was incredible, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing. I must give a shout-out to Sophia for all her assistance in dealing with a grueling, technological nightmare! My poor mother was without a phone for quite some time (long, boring story), and Sophia came to the rescue. I seriously could not have gotten through the challenge without her help. I also want to thank Linda. I love the surprise videos capturing my mom playing the piano. They always warm my heart and bring a smile to my face. Thank you to all of the staff who answer phones, deliver medications, serve food and beverages, play games, and provide entertainment. My mom is the most social person I know, and she enjoys being there. That is most important to my family and me!

My wife Doris and I have been independent living residents at the Gallery for a little over one year. When joining, we hoped we had found a place that provided good dining experiences. We have not been disappointed. Chef Robert and his staff continue to provide a good variety of nutritious meals daily; a feat that has exceeded our expectations. I can’t say enough great things about the Activity Department at The Gallery! Eva is truly incredible at what she does. The events she plans are always thoughtful, engaging, and so well organized. This is a beautiful senior living community. It is well planned and built. They have independent living, assisted living and memory care. Duplexes with garages. in back for those who want that. My parents moved into The Gallery at North Port in April. From the moment we arrived with them, the staff has treated us as family. The staff consistently cared for my parents with compassion. We have a large extended family and are used to holding large family celebrations. One of the reasons we chose The Gallery was because during our initial interview, we were told, If your parents move here, The Gallery will become their home. You can host as many family parties as you want here. We have celebrated 2-93rd birthdays, a 72nd anniversary and the Baptism of mom and dad’s youngest grandson at The Gallery in the first 5 months of their residency. Mom recently passed away. Dad wanted to host a reception at The Gallery. Activity director, Eva Strick and Chef Robert Sanders helped us plan and implement a celebration of Mom’s life in the beautiful first floor dining room. Eva made sure we had everything we needed to create the ambiance. Chef Sanders prepared food for over 70 people that was not only delicious but beautiful in appearance. He even catered kid meals for the 12 great grand children in attendance. Staff cared for our group with their customary professional yet caring manner. I cannot thank the staff at The Gallery enough for creating a loving environment for my parents to live in. You feel like extended family to us.

After researching several facilities down here in North Port, Florida I found one that is home away from home (and in some ways better). From the minute you walk in the door, there’s somebody smiling and greeting you and making you feel comfortable. The apartments here are lovely. There are enough activities available for your different interests. The facilities are clean and the food is delicious and varied. Your family members are welcomed at any time and treated with the same welcoming and courteous attention. I can’t say enough good things about the attention you get from the staff and the friendliness of the residents. From top to bottom, The Gallery deserves an A+ rating. This would be the only place I would ever want to be in. I want to emphasize that anyone handicapped in any way is just as welcome and accommodated.

I was absolutely impressed with the Memory Care Unit at the Gallery after stopping by earlier this past week. The patients here are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet, but it is largely owed to Brian, the Memory Care director. He does a wonderful job at creating a culture of sincerity, kindness, and joy to those in his care. I would go back in a heartbeat, as the patients here are delightful to be around. Brian pours his heart and soul into this facility, and it is deeply obvious on so many levels. Thank you to the Gallery for all that you do!

The residents there are always upbeat and seem to be very happy to live there. The activities director Eva does an awesome job with the entertainment and is very easy to work. I am currently searching for an assisted living for my parents. After several people in my community recommended The Gallery, I figured that I would arrange a visit. The grounds are immaculate and the living facilities are well kept and are more than sufficient. Alexis took the time to answer all of my many questions. I have had my wife in the memory care unit since October of last year. The facility and the care she has received during that time has been exceptional. The staff, from Kathy, the Executive Director, to the memory care staff always puts the residents as a top priority. Brian, the Memory Care Director, oversees an excellent team of caregivers. My mother has been a resident in the Gallery of North Port memory care unit for 1.5 years. The other residents and staff have very much become family. We appreciate and enjoy the activities that help engage mom and the other residents. We were fortunate to attend this month’s family night. We had fun and enjoyed a delicious meal. MC director Brian and the staff did a great job!! I would recommend attending a family night or just visiting your loved one anytime. I feel strongly that my family and I found the best MC facility for our Mother. She is happy and that means the world to us.

Chef Rob Sanders and his team deliver one of the most impressive senior living culinary programs I've seen nationwide. Yesterday upon a walk in visit they were serving octopus, filet mignon and I enjoyed a sample PhillyCheese Eggroll. Live music right there by the bar! Great idea distributing flex$ for residents to manage their own money, retaining their independence, whether they want to spend at the dining room or at the bistro bar on small plates and drinks. Jen Bergo and her team were pleasant and helpful. I also met the Executive Director and her leadership team, very welcoming. New facility, very nice! Also next door to Pop Warner field makes for fun community engagement. Ownership company appears to be very supportive at the community level which is important when making a decision where your parents or grandparents might live next. Hope to visit again soon! For lunch probably! Thank you Gallery NP for your hard work, it's certainly paying off.

My mother has been living in a villa at the Gallery for 3 years and she loves it. The people are very friendly and helpful, the events keep her engaged and active and she's made a lot of new friends. She has some special dietary needs and Chef Ron always accommodates her requests. I've eaten with her several times and the food is always very good, fresh and well prepared.

I've lived in a villa here for 3 years and I'm so happy I selected this place when I moved from my house. Everyone, both residents and staff are very friendly. The maintenance staff is responsive to work orders. The food is prepared well and is hot when it gets to the table. Chef Rob customizes orders to meet my needs. They accept reservations when I bring guests. The servers are attentive and check to make sure that I am satisfied. The gym is great to use for physical therapy and the salt water pool is very clean and accessible. The layout is great - there are no steps or trip hazards in or around my villa - nice wide sidewalks everywhere.

I had the opportunity to tour and am acquainted with the management at The Gallery. I only have positive words about this facility. It is a newer and gorgeous place. As soon as you enter, you feel the warmth in the atmosphere and smiles on the residents’ faces. I’ve been there at breakfast, lunch and happy hour. The residents were engaged, having fun and enjoying the delicious food. In addition, they have a beautiful swimming pool, gym amenities, theater and continuing care from independent living, to assisted living and memory care. My mom doesn’t live in FL, but if she were here, I wouldn’t hesitate to advocate The Gallery as her living place. I know the residents are in excellent hands. Alexis, Tierra and their team are kind, supportive and committed to helping their residents.

Apartments have washer and dryer included. Gallery is in a newly developed area with access to shops and supermarkets if desired. Sarasota Memorial Hospital is not far and a plus in case of need.

I had to move my dad into The Gallery for 30 days of respite care which was such a stressful situation for me until I met Alexis , from the time I met her and thru the whole process Alexis and her staff made me feel like family and made sure my Dad will be well taken care of. The building and surroundings are beautiful. Also want to include Maddie Boschen, Mercille Campfield, Kathy Tyler and Trista Contorno for the amazing jobs that they do. It’s such a pleasure having The Gallery At North Port in our community. The Gallery has made such a great impact on our Sarasota County community for consecutive years. I’ve witnessed so many holiday functions where The Gallery is giving back to our North Port community. I just want to let you know, you're very much appreciated for all your hard work and bringing such a positive family presence to the city of North Port. So many names I can mention for making my family feel always welcome but the one that sticks out the most is Alexis. The Gallery at NP is a beautiful community with amazing staff. It has very nice amenities within the community for the residents. If you are looking for a wonderful community I would highly suggest visiting. They have beautiful villas as well to cater to those who are looking for Independent living with still having access to all of the wonderful amenities the community has to offer.

The cleanliness and decor are top-notch, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Tierra and the sales team were fantastic, going above and beyond during our tour to explain all the amenities and answer every question. I've looked at places from Naples to Venice and feel that the Gallery at North Port is the best choice for any one looking for Senior Living. Excellent facilities with an incredible staff that is anxious to help and keep you happy. If they can please me they can make almost any one a happy resident! My parents have been there since March, theylive the independent living side, one thing that’s important as folks get older is a good meal, three good meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. In fact, once you get to a certain age, that’s all that matters, as it gives them the opportunity see their friends, meet and make new friends, it’s a time to come together. The food has been excellent. Certainly there’s been days when it’s not made like the way mom made it, or it’s not grilled the way dad grilled it, but overall the cooks the staff and all the staff in general have been very accommodating and are very caring, I feel my wife and my I made an excellent choice. My parents feel at home and they enjoy being there.

The Gallery at North Port is a BEAUTIFUL community. The care is excellent, and the activities program is one of the very best I've ever seen. Eva Krick, Resident Experience Director, is extremely talented. She and her team are always coming up with the coolest activities. The residents who live there have so much fun! I'm impressed every time I visit. I highly recommend this community.

I toured the community recently for my grandmother and was very pleased!! The community was so beautiful including the villas! The staff was so warm & friendly and even the Executive Director (Kathy Tyler) stopped to greet me! People were happy & enjoying a great happy hour while I was there! I would highly recommend The Gallery at Northport for anyone looking at Senior Housing or Assisted Living options!

My mother in law has lived at the Gallery for a year and a half and has had a wonderful experience! The staff is always so helpful and welcoming. We do not live in town, so if we have questions that need to be answered, they respond right away! Carla in the operations department has been incredibly helpful with our recent needs.

I have had the pleasure of taking a tour of The Gallery at North Port through the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program, and I was thoroughly impressed. The facility is beautifully maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all residents are comfortable and well cared for. The variety of activities and events offered is fantastic, keeping residents engaged and active. Having a behind the scenes look at the facility to see what the staff does to care for the residents was amazing! It's was clear to see that the team genuinely cares about the well-being and happiness of everyone in their care. I also had the chance to work with Tierra Foster, who is working to build relationships with local businesses to design or grow within existing programs to engage residents with younger generations. We successfully found an opportunity that met this goal for our summer camp program. The creative thinking and support we received made it a special day for all!

We have decided to move to a continuing care community. We have spent a good deal of time getting to know The Gallery at North Port this year and think it is an attractive alternative for us. After putting our house on the market for the spring we ended up without an offer and decided to replace the roof to enhance its value. We don’t want to be paying for two places several months, so we have to wait to sign up until the house is sold. This process started in March and is going to continue at least into October. The Gallery representative, Dana Kascov, has stuck with us so far keeping us up to date on what’s going on at The Gallery and sharing her knowledge navigating this changeover from house to continuing care. Her persistent contact with us has been very helpful and encouraging. It has also created a warm place in our heart for her and The Gallery. We are hoping to complete this transition by the end of the year.
