Elevated Estates of New Port Richey – Reviews
February 2023
Very welcome
February 2023
This is a hard review to write because my loved one recently passed. It is long, but I am hoping that it will help someone else considering this location. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to all of the wonderful people who helped take care of her during her time at Elevated Estates over the past 1 ½ years. I would love to list several people by name, but I won’t lest I leave anybody out who was special to her or who cared for her and, perhaps, I just didn’t have the opportunity to meet due to the timing of my visits. I would like to thank everyone who in any way participated in her care, in meal preparation, or in building cleanliness or maintenance. It is because of the people at Elevated Estates of New Port Richey that your loved ones will feel treated like family! I sincerely hope this family atmosphere never changes. It was a difficult decision to move her there, but it was becoming too much for her husband given the circumstances of her Alzheimer’s Disease. We chose Elevated Estates after looking around due to the following main reasons: The fact that the building looked more like a home than a residential facility; the cleanliness of the facility and the residents; the fact that every resident was spoken to by name with a warm smile by any staff member who passed in the hallway; the “homey” feeling that was throughout the building, not just limited to the exterior appearance; the on-site beauty salon, and the quaint and lovely outdoor patio area (where she and her husband ended up sitting almost every day when he would go to visit her). It was also comforting to know that the entire building was memory care, so we didn’t have to worry about safety. In addition, the pricing was very clear up front, and I can only think of one care-related service that cost extra. We all wish that cost was not a factor, but the truth is that it can be overwhelming, so it was nice to know what we were facing. What I didn’t expect was how my loved one thrived once she got settled at Elevated Estates. She made several friends and really liked all of the staff members. She was smiling in every photo on Facebook, and she was always happy when I came to visit. She also loved the activities, and we really appreciated how the residents were encouraged to participate in a gentle manner and to the best of their personal capabilities. Since I live very far away, there was a special person who would periodically text photos, and I was so appreciative. A picture really is worth a thousand words…Her room was literally only for sleeping because she and the other residents were always throughout the facility interacting and doing other things during the day. The staff treated her like family, and when I came to visit, it was clear that this is how they treated every resident—with care, compassion, and respect. She declined very rapidly in her final days and passed away peacefully outside the facility. When I went to Elevated Estates to clear out her room, several staff members had tears in their eyes as they conveyed their condolences and that she would be missed. As I looked back over Facebook at all the photos, I realized she was actually happier and more energized at Elevated Estates than she had been before moving there. This awful disease took so much from her over the years, but Elevated Estates helped bring out her true personality, despite the disease, due to the supportive environment and consistent interaction with a variety of people. The facility has had a few changes in Executive Directors. I am not sure the reason for this, but I hope it works out well in the future for stability for the other staff members and for the residents. The positive aspect of this, however, is that you would never know there was a director change or anything based on the actions of the other staff members. They don’t miss a beat. They continue to be dedicated and focus their energy on caring for the residents. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you again, and God Bless.

You walk in and the concierge greets you with the most cheerful and welcoming hello. As you make your way around the facility you will notice the cleanliness throughout the building, extremely friendly staff from concierge to the kitchen, aides and nurses to activities and some awesome additions like the beautiful birds they have on the first floor. They provide A+ care and spend time with their residents.

When I came to Elevated Estates, what made a difference was how clean and great the facility looks and that the residents seem genuinely cared for. Staff and residents all had smiles and seemed to be having a nice time. Typically I had seen places with cracked paint, old floors, and dirty areas, but everything i saw seemed really well taken care of. Thank you for a great tour.

I am very thankful for the ability to serve these residents on a daily basis, and can assure you that the Directors and staff here feel the same! (A lot of our care staff have been here up to 12 years!). We truly treat them like our own family, even though we work in their home. Many of us employed at the Villas are Certified Dementia Practitioners, which gives us an amazing, professional edge while working with our memory challenged residents. I feel extremely blessed and humbled to be the Director and Nursing Director at this wonderful neighborhood with these amazing residents and fellow co-workers.

The Villas at Sunset Bay have a great mix of physical and social activities for the the residents. I have found it consistently clean and have a very pleasant atmosphere. Betsie Olson is very involve with the day to day operation and always make sure that the residents receive the best care possible. Coral G.-DHW and her nursing team (John W.-RCD, Leone, Sam, Lorraine, and Karlee) are very dedicated, very passionate about their work, and ensure that great care is provided to the residents. Kelli and her team have developed wonderful programs for the residents to be engaged at. Special mention: Delicious meals prepared by Chef Anthony, smiling and welcoming face of Ralph, and to Diane who keeps the place spotless.

The Villas has the most caring staff and dedicated employees Ive seen in this business. The programming during COVID has been top-notch! The residents love where they live and they cant wait for all the fun stuff that happens every week!

Worked here for 5 years and counting my boss Anthony Corson is the best boss ever. All of my coworkers and the staff at the villas are like a big family.
September 2020
I was in there recently, and I must say Chef Anthony does an AMAZING job. I grew up around kitchens, and he obviously knows what he is doing.
September 2020
The staff is very professional and caters to the needs of the residents very well. Keeping the residents happy and busy during COVID isnt easy, but the Memory Support Director, Kelli, and her crew are doing an amazing job! Everyone looks like they are having a blast!
September 2020
They have the most amazing care staff. Especially, Lupe, she takes care of her residents like her own family, she knows how to handle elderly with cognitive impairment, she is very caring and is very professional. She Is very passionate to her work and prioritize patients first. With her attitude, she spreads good wisdom and care to her colleagues hence everyone is very good. Also, the environment is very conducive to our Alzheimers loved ones , it is not crowded and noisy. They have a relaxation room and resting area. Rooms and hallways are clean and organized. Overall, one of the best Alzheimers unit Ive been.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. The Villas at Sunset Bay is top notch when it comes to food and care for the residents. Chef Anthony is always out socializing with the residents and making sure they are happy with the food. Hes always having special cookouts in which the family is able to attend. I would rate the taste and presentation a 10 out of 10. The staff here are always so helpful and pleasant. Everyone always seems so happy and are smiling. Couldnt ask for a better facility for my grandmother to live her years out. Dementia has really affected my grandmother but the Villas offers her opportunitys to play BINGO, to sing , enjoy happy hour and enjoy the fresh air. She also gets to enjoy one of her favorite meals often which is Fishy Fridays!!!

Kelli Adams does a wonderful job creating events that encourage group participation that is both entertaining, mind stimulating and fun
September 2020
I have worked with the residents for 3 years now. The residents are wonderful and are all so special. They do have dementia but still live a fulfilled life at the Villas. They are well cared for and happy. Chef Anthony and team prepare great meals so everyone is well fed. The activities are vibrant and creative. Its always an adventure as you never know what will happen but it is so rewarding. I wish everyone the best!

What a great community. Chef Anthony is absolutely amazing at his good job. He runs a very tight knit kitchen with top of the line employees. He goes above and beyond to give the residents the best food possible. You can see his passion for cooking through his food and his dedication to his work.

My mother in law has been at the Villas for over a year and she loves it. Ronnie and his staff make communication for families easy and efficient. The care is wonderful!
April 2020
The Villas at sunset Bay go above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of their residence. The decision to have my mother move into this community is the best decision I could have made on her behalf!
April 2020
My mother has been a resident at the Villas for almost four years. I looked at almost every memory care in the area, this was by far the best place. Although the building is not new, it is clean, well decorated, and well taken care of. I also noticed that it had a family atmosphere, unlike any of the other ones. Throughout the years, there have been ups and downs, just like any other place. I have noticed positive changes In the last year, such as the nursing staffing has gone up, and the consistency and quality of staffing. The staff is what makes an assisted living facility. The caretakers and nurses at the Villas are phenomenal, they are very caring, and most treat the residents like their own families. There have been many times when my mother is having bad days, they will call and let her talk to us. The food is very good, my mother loves it! The leadership is also doing a great job!I am very impressed and thankful to the whole staff at the Villas, especially during the time of this virus.
April 2020
My mother in law has been at the Villas for over a year and she loves it. It is hard because we are so far from her but Ronnie and his staff take great care in the residents health and well being. Ronnie and Kelli have made communication between families and residents and staff easy especially during this difficult time.
April 2020
My Mom is a resident of 2 years. This is the only place we visited where the residents were engaged with the people and the world around them. This was also the only place that did NOT smell like a facility. You know the smell. Everyone (the staff and residents) is friendly and even my 9 yr old son likes going there to visit. The residents enjoy when he calls the BINGO numbers. My Mom has not been is such good health as she has been under their care.
March 2020
They are very clean with the friendliest staff I have met in this field in 15 years for a facility. If looking for memory care in home to be at home I recommend home life in home senior care services are the best call 719. 358-0538 owner Carrie is awesome and loving toward our elders.
