My Mom lived on the independent and then moved to the assisted living side after a short time. The atmosphere is positive, the residents are happy, the staff is happy and overall it is the best facility in Brevard county and maybe the state. It is clean, food is good. The care on the assisted living side is mazing, professional, kind staff who are always available for any concerns we had. We cannot say enough about this facility, it was a wonderful experience all the way around.

I can't say enough good about the Fountains starting with the arrival at the front desk. Staff, including the tour guide Ms. Plante, were so friendly. I couldn't help but notice that they knew the residents names. I appreciated the tour guides knowledge and patience as I asked so many questions. Loved the homey and clean comfortable feeling of the facility as well as the classy touches I noticed throughout the tour. The apartment is nice with plenty of room. Definitely the best that I have toured. Love that there is a pool for exercising and many options for entertainment. Food was excellent and I am amazed at the options. I can't give enough stars! You really have too see it too appreciate it.

My mother has been a resident at the Fountains of Melbourne assisted living facility since July 2019. As my mother's oldest son and the primary family caregiver, I am so happy that my mother is a resident. I have great piece of mind knowing that she receives top notch care everyday. As her physical mobility worsens, the Fountains staff has risen to meet the need for additional assistance. The nursing staff has always made time for me to discuss my mother's care plan and requirements. I like to think that my personal experience is typical of other residents and family members.

The Fountains of Melbourne Review - My Dad has been living at The Fountains of Melbourne for over a year now. He came to Florida from Williamsburg, Va. He is now 87 years old, living in Independent Living. He was a bit unsure about moving to Florida and had me look into some retirement places to live before he came for a look-see. I loved The Fountains and when he came to look at the places that I thought would be good for him, he fell in love with this place. After meeting with Chris, taking a tour and enjoying a wonderful lunch he decided that this was the place for him - This is the place, it feels like home to me. Well, this was what I wanted to hear, so after packing up his home, he moved to The Fountains in May, 2019. My Dad is a widower for 7 years now. It did not take him long to meet new people and get involved with life here. He lives in a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and nice sized living room, big bedroom and bathroom with a walk-in shower. He loves his screened in porch. He loves seeing the launches from Kennedy Space Center from his balcony. He does his own laundry, however for a small charge it can be done for you. My Dad has always been a fish and soup lover all his life. I believe that he eats fish most dinner times and he says that the lobster bisque is about the best ever. I have never been to The Fountains that I have seen an unhappy associate. You are greeted with a smile and everyone knew my Dads name within a few days of him being there. The COVID pandemic has produced a few changes - no visitation for a bit, meals changed to 3, day (in-room service) for my Dad and laundry was done for him. We, as family members were kept up to date with once-twice per week e-mails from the Executive Director, Sandra Garuti. She was amazing letting everyone know what was being done to keep our family members safe, healthy and happy. She and her community of associates have been on top of everything, following the CDC guidelines for retirement homes and assisted living communities. Yes, a few associates tested positive on their every other week testings ( and are all back to work now), but no residents were infected while living here. The housekeeping is meticulous, everyone is screened before entering and the residents are checked on a daily basis for symptoms and fever. As a residents family member, I appreciate this and am so thankful for the watchful eye everyone has kept on my Dad. He is happy, has a friend that he loves spending time with, LOVES the food, has enjoyed the time he can now get outside, although still needing a mask and social distancing, enjoys movie time - )Aerial America and Westerns are his favorites), and taking bus trip to the beach and parks. Could he do more, you bet - puzzles, crafts, bridge, bingo...lots of activities. He just chooses not to. I am thrilled that he is happy and feels safe in his environment. Thank you to The Fountains of Melbourne associates for their loving care. They are heroes to our family! 10, 10 stars!!

Full disclosure: I reviewed all similar facilities in the Melbourne area a few years ago. I am speaking only about the Fountains as I dont know what facilities have opened since I looked.I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend The Fountains of Melbourne. The overall facility is set in a very picturesque landscaping arrangement with attractive buildings, ponds, and trees.I do know someone who lives there so I am familiar with what goes on inside. A person could spend all their time at The Fountains and be fulfilled I think. Dining, entertainment, get-togethers, parties, just a myriad of special events. There are programs for personal enrichment particularly geared towards our older population as well as programs that anyone might benefit from.A person need not spend their whole time at The Fountains as transportation to medical appointments and shopping is available. Also, he residents often go to local events togetherThe Staff? Well, they are just top notch. Polite, helpful and friendly - you cant beat it.The focus at The Fountains is on the residents and that contains a wide spectrum of efforts that Ive only touched on. If you are considered a facility such as The Fountains, you really do owe it to yourself to go there, tour the place and talk to Staff. Dont make a decision before giving them a look. You wont regret it.

Two meals a day, housekeeping, laundry, transportation to Dr, Publix, WalMart, Bealls, Kohls, Mall, bank and Post Office, movies, Brevard Orchestra, Red Hats luncheons, in house entertainment, special celebrations, happy hour, cards and games and so much more! Most all your needs are met at The Fountains of Melbourne. Come and stay awhile!

My father has been in the Independent Living side (one bedroom apartment) for a little over a year now. I love it! I know he can participate in activities, he has a ride to wherever he wants to go, the food is good, the staff is wonderful & I just cannot say enough about The Fountains.

It is a great place to live. Its lovely and has so much to offer to the residents. My Dad lives there and has been there for 14 yrs. He is involved with so many things. They are always having games and events for everyone. They play bridge, bingo, Mexican dominoes, shuffleboard, etc. They have transportation to many places, including Wal-Mart, Publix, Drs. appointments and to PAFB, church and many more places. They also as well as having music and plays at the Fountains, take the residents to different musical things at the Melbourne Auditorium. Too numerous to mention. The meals are great and served in the dining room or in the Bistro. They have a nice 24 hour coffee shop, beauty and barber shop. They have housekeeping services and maintenance on duty. I cannot say enough about it. The staff is also very friendly and will help you with anything you need. I certainly would go see the premises. Its lovely! Peggy Frank.

My organization has had a very positive relationship with The Fountains for many year where the residents receive top-notch care and customer service. The entire staff always has a smile on their face when I visit and are deeply invested in the residents they serve on a daily basis.I highly recommend The Fountains for anyone interested in moving to or placing their loved at a senior living community in Brevard County!!!

My mother moved into assisted living at The Fountains 2 weeks ago. She loves it. We love it. Everyone has been friendly, pleasant, and wonderful to her, and to me when I visit. We are in the process of getting her apartment furnishings arranged, and she is in the process of meeting NO strangers anywhere here. Employees evidently do enjoy working here, and that is good for them and for the residents, too. Its a resort hotel, cruise ship, and country club rolled into one. Good food, too, but the people are the best reason to choose The Fountains.
