I had my husband, Art, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia, admitted to a memory care facility that claimed they could care for him, but could not. Shortly after he was there, they requested 24/7 private aide service because he tried to escape and was very agitated. The Nursing Director and staff didn't offer me much assistance or hardly communicated with me for 5 weeks, other than to tell me that this was not going to work out. I knew I would have to find another place, but did not know where. It was such a stressful time! I then heard about Lakeland Manor ALF. I met with the Director at the facility and she came out the next day to assess my husband. She could not believe I still had private aide service and she already had a plan of care to help me and my husband out. We moved him to Lakeland Manor and the level of care was like night and day compared with the old facility. The Director is very involved with the care of her residents and does give continual teaching to her staff. The staff is also very kind and caring, and seem to enjoy their jobs. Many of them have worked there for a long time. For the first time in 5 weeks, I finally felt comfortable leaving my husband in memory care! If you are looking for a fancy facility, I would not go there. But if you are looking for good care, kindness, and safety for your loved one, I would highly recommend it!

This is the best facility that I have toured. Very clean and smells fresh. No urine smells. They staff are very helpful and polite.

The facility new color and remodeling is amazing! Definitely feels like a home when you come in to the facility. The staff makes you feel so welcoming the min you step in! I recommend bringing your family here!

My brother-in-law lives here and they take very good care of him. The mangement/workers are so friendly. Christmas dinner was delicious.

Excellent Facility. Recently i have visited one of the resident and saw how their staff member was treating the resident with care and respect. The facility was clean and well organized. While i was there i had chance to meet the owner and saw how he was treating his staff and the resident than i realized in order for any business to be successful it has to come from the ownership. I would not be hesitate to place my parents in their care after what i saw at the lakeland manor. I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking to place your loved one to assisted living facility.

I would highly recommend Lakeland Manor ALF to any family looking for a caring staff for their loved ones. Not only is the staff caring, but they make residents feel comfortable in their new home from day one. Lakeland Manor also offers many activities along with a tasty menu for the residents to enjoy.
