This is the first time we have inquired about an agency for my husband, who has Parkinson. I was called out of town and needed to hire someone to help with his basics needs. From the first call to Helping Hands, to meeting Dina, who came a few days before I left to introduce herself and go over Arnie's routine, everyone was professional and caring. I also got a bonus, Dina took care of my 8 year lab mix. The best compliment I can give, is I wasn't missed.

I have been working with Helping Hand Nursing Service for the past two years and it's a pleasure, even though we may , or may never see each others on a day-to-day basis I'm always call on the phone a regularly for some kind of help and there is always a pleasant , caring voice answering the phone how may I help you . The person who answers the phone she warms , my heart ❤️ . Most of the time it's [ gps ] spinning me around and around in a circles and I'm so flustered I don't want to be late. And then that person who answers the phone , " it's don't worry about anything because everything is going to be alright " then I'm so comforted . I absolutely love working with this agency. I don't usually give a five-star rating, but they truly deserve this one. I have been working with Helping Hands Nursing agency of N Florida for over a year. Everyone seems so caring and very professional, from the CEO to administration, nurses and co-workers and other staff, I have seen where the CEO herself has gone over and beyond for clients and staff members. They are like a closely knit family who really take interest and shows compassion for their clients. I thank God that I have found a great company that I am proud to work for into my retirement. We were in a tight spot when my dad had a stroke and fell and needed to be hospitalized dand my mother with memory issues needed someone to stay with her overnight.. I was driving to Florida from PA and called Helping Hands. Marla was so sweet and helped me out by getting Jeannette to stay with my mom, until I could get there the next day. I would highly recomment this group if you are ever in need of personal care for a loved one. Thank you.

My 92 yr old neighbor has no local relatives, she fell broke her hip and pelvic bones. She spent 5 days in hospital. Due to covid 19 the rehabs were not taking new patients. I got a call from hospital to say she had signed herself out and was going home. This was Thanksgiving Week end. I needed help fast. Lucky to find Helping Hands and Marla. She took over immediately and called her people to start 24 hr. care. Thank you Marla and all your girls who are great.

Our Helping Hand caregiver, on her third night with our mom, saved her life. She is a CNA with good experience and instincts. When things went awry, she recognized the serious issue and took immediate action. She called us in the middle of the night and then stayed with us until help arrived, keeping everyone calm and even moving furniture for a clear stretcher path. As we rushed to the hospital, she stayed and put things back together so Moms return will be to a comfortable, clean, orderly place. All of this goes so far beyond what we expected and we are so grateful. When Mom is ready to come home, Helping Hand is the first place we will call. We look forward to seeing this amazing caregiver again and also to meeting others who will be needed in addition. We trust Helping Hand to send us highly capable, kind caregivers.

We had Helping Hands Senior services for two weeks following my spine surgery. My rating and recommendation are of the highest possible both from a care and a professional perspective. The staff, from the office personnel to the caregivers, were outstanding in every way. They were punctual, prepared and willing to perform their duties as requested and-or needed. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 20!!

I used Helping Hand Nursing Services when my 95 yr old mother had a fall in her apartment and suffered a fractured shoulder and fractured pelvis on both sides of her hips. Because of her age she was unable to have surgery so she tried to recover through rehab. We used Helping Hand Services even while she was in rehab and in the hospital just so we could have 24-7 visual on her. We had 4 girls that worked 12 hour shifts. The supervisors at the Company made sure the helpers were a good personality fit for my mom and could handle the level of care she needed. We never felt uneasy about leaving Mom with them at any point. Mom called them her angels. I can honestly say they cared for her above and beyond the call of duty because of their caring hearts. It wasnt just a job to them...they really connected with my Mom and loved on her. My mom passed away in the palliative care unit at LRMC on Jan. 30th and one of the caregivers was there with me at her side. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a caregiver for their loved one.
