Ellison is rapidly going downhill. The chef is forced by corporate to buy lower quality food, maintenance and cleanliness are poor the lighting on walkways is almost nonexistence and corporate does not seem to care. I would definitely think twice about putting a family member here. I am a resident and am considering leaving as are several others

This is an excellent independent living facility! The residents are well cared for here, and are able to live independently in a clean, safe, and secure environment! Most importantly, the staff are simply amazing and treat the residents with so much love, kindness, and care!!

Elison Independent Living is a community that I highly recommend for older family members who are still mobile, yet want important services provided for them such as housekeeping and meal service. The heart of this place is the Staff, who are by the main very nice, and many of them have been working there for many years, including Gloria,who is in charge of guest services and has been so helpful to us, Jan the director (which is important), and head chef Urell(see photo), so the food is great there too! Denny (see photo) at the desk is a pro, and has fulfilled our requests gladly and promptly. Isabell, our new housekeeper, is fantastic and comes once a week to make sure all is clean and smells fresh. Way to go guys!

After 1 1/2 years of independent living @ a facility near Okeechobee turnpike entrance in West Palm, I moved to Elison Independent Living, Lake Worth. Long overdue, best decision I ever made. Caring administration & staff, Culinary kitchen staff, wonderful food consistently. Many choices each meal. Activities and entertainment daily, would definitely recommend. Mostly long term staff, very clean facility.

As somebody who has an elderly parent and is a social worker professionally, I found embark to be a wonderful facility. Staff really care and create a wonderful environment for their residents.

My dad and I took a tour of Brookdale Lake Worth last month. Everyone we came in contact with was very helpful and pleasant. While we were there a few people that live in the community came up to us and asked my dad if he was thinking of moving in? All the folks we spoke to had nothing but good things to say about the community. I would also like to mention Nancy and Gloria are a pleasure to deal with,and when I call with a question they are both very quick to respond if Ive missed them in their office. Gloria called just a few days ago and asked when they could expect my dad as he is moving from another state to FL. We thought that was so kind for her to check how things were going with my dad. We are very confident my dads quality of life will be so much better with delious food,things to do,and caring employees.

I recently moved my mother from another Brookdale community to this one. The differences are night and day. I have found the staff to be very caring and helpful here. Even the receptionist will go out of her way to answer questions and help you. It feels less corporate and more like family. I am happy that we found this place and would definitely recommend it to others.
