Cheryl, Michelle, Missy all the staff are attentive & the communication is reliable. This facility is extremely clean and comfortable. The service is superb. The food is fresh and hot. Moving my sister-in-law from Elegance of Lake Worth was something I worried deeply about—I didn’t want her to feel sad, unsettled, or confused. But from the very first conversation with Kyle, and later with Cherlyn after the move, my heart was put completely at ease. I knew, without a doubt, that I had made the right decision and that she was in loving, capable hands. In the times we live in, it is rare to meet someone as exceptional as Kyle—so kind, so knowledgeable, so genuinely caring. His compassion for both the residents and their families is remarkable, and it’s clear he is deeply valued by those who work with him.

We visited multiple facilities in Highlands County. Balmoral, by far, is the best memory care facility for our aging parent. Not only very good, but comparable pricing, in our opinion, to lesser places in the county. And we’re so grateful for the loving and capable staff! I drive 19 miles each way and wouldn’t exchange for facility closer to home.

The staff at Balmoral were caring and respectful towards my mother during her time there. They were also very responsive to our family's questions, needs, and requests. Our family's journey in seeking care for our mother did not start well at other places and we are so glad we eventually found Balmoral, it was a relief to have found such an informed and compassionate executive director with staff who were aware and so supportive. My mother has been at Balmoral for 5 months now. I am forever grateful to Michelle Daniels and her staff for guiding me through this process. When I needed guidance most, Michelle and her staff walked me through the process with kindness and patience. They have continued that quality, greeting visitors and residents with smiles, and by their first name. The support staff has also been amazing. My mother is greeted by everyone entering her room, they share stories with her, are friendly and engaging. The kitchen staff prepares amazing food for my mom, and knows her likes and dislikes. I am reminded on a daily basis that my mother is in good hands. The staff here love each of the residents as their own family. Michelle told me my mother would thrive here, and she sure has!

Michelle, the Director has made her position a ministry of love, care and commitment to memory care need individuals that impact greatly their loved ones who want absolutely the best for them. Michelle and her entire staff are the best in Highlands County and we are truly blessed to have them in this area of critical need.

Friendly, helpful staff has mostly been run off by new management company woman from another community, lee I believe, has destroyed moral among remaining staff. Food service is good, as well as dining staff. Would rate better if they would remove Lee and have smiles on staff faces.

I have to say that they take good care of my mother in memory care, especially Cindy White. She is awesome with my mom and when there is an issue, she reaches out and we handle it together. My mother has lived in Balmoral for 2 years and is very happy. She has made lots of new friends and feels valued by the staff. While reading other personal reviews on this site, I do concur that when the new company took over (approximately a year ago) the everyday operations of the facility slipped to subpar. Fortunately, the staff and administrators recognized that changes needed to be made and took some suggestions from the residents as well as family members. Over the past 6 months, these are some of the positive changes that my mother and siblings have noticed : -Full-time RN on site -Building and grounds have been cleaned and appearance is more inviting. -Improved daily activities as well as the increase of off-site trips. -Communication between the staff and family members has improved! The Director often sends an email explaining news about the facility and any new safety protocols. Sometimes, we receive an invite to join the residents for a special luncheon or Happy Hour. I am thrilled that my mother calls Balmoral "home." If you are looking for a facility for your loved one, I recommend scheduling a visit to see if this facility is a good fit for your family.

One great year, I have resided at Balmoral. I have lived and viewed several other facilities. What a nice place to call my "home". It's always spotless. The food is " top chelf". My favorite times a day. At night, what a quiet. There is never confusion and the nurses and med. techs handle if any.It has to be number 1 in our area. Don't miss a nice family to join. I love it ! I have been here for a year. I haven't had any complaint so far. I really don't expect one either. We have great food and plenty of entertainment to almost always keep you busy. The staff are always helpful with our needs and answer our questions. I have no cares living here at Balmoral. Come and see what I am saying is so true.

My mom has been in this facility for about 7 months and just loves it!! We wish we did it 5 years ago....They really care about the residents, from the top to the bottom. The Director Karen keeps us informed regularly about our mother, Darlene is always sweet to all the residents that I can see while we visit there and the best employee is Silvio, he sincerely cares about the residents, always laughing with them and has a smile on his face 24/7. We are very fortunate to have our mother at Balmoral!! We would recommend this place to all future residents....
