This company does not pay their bills. We have mailed, emailed, called & left messages to no avail. I get no response. They have had so much turnover within the last year and a half that noone knows what's going on. I was told that our invoices would be paid, several times from several people, but have yet to receive any money. Every time I call, I'm told "they're not in today", "she's out sick", "she no longer works here" & now just straight up refusal of payment. The new head of accounting department(which i had to google because noone would give me any info) straight up told me that she wasn't paying the thousands of dollars in open invoices & now isn't responding to emails.

To anybody that is reading this interview, congratulations you have just found the place for your loved ones to go. Regina and her group of helpers are a team that truly love and care all the people at this facility. Whoever hired these people struck gold.I was very well educated through Regina and her team on how to move my grandmother that is 101 years old and the dues and don’ts and what to look for during the process. This place is affordable,Clean and upfront about pricing no surprises! And that is a blessing in itself. So if you find your loved ones in a place that the charges are going up and up I highly recommend you move your loved ones to their facilities he will be able to sleep well again at night. Thank you to the team of The gardens of Lake Alfred. Don’t hesitate call them and talk to Regina, she will help you every step of the way. To summit up, loving safe place, and honest upfront answers with no surprises financially… That’s a miracle in my book. Make the call you won’t be disappointed.

I first met Regina in September 2019 and I have worked with her to place two close family members. She always exceeds my expectations in every issue we address. She is a kind and compassionate advocate for our most vulnerable population. I wholeheartedly recommend The Gardens of Lake Alfred. Their facility has been remodeled in the last year and everything is new and clean. The staff are committed to assisting residents and their families in any way they can. I have dealt with other assisted living facilities in Polk County and this is one of the most accommodating places I’ve ever worked with.

Ms. Regina of the Garden of Lake Alfred is one of the most caring people I have met in such a long time, especially when you have to deal with a loved one who health in diminishing. As I searched around for a place for our love one, The Gardens of Lake Alfred came highly recommended and I can say that it is all that and some more. Great place for your love one. I will highly recommend this place to anyone.

I am employed here, but I know the kind, caring treatment our residents receive. I am so confident that I convinced my 96 year old Aunt to move here. She passed away in April, but she passed the way she wanted at Home. The staff was as devastated as the family was. I could never recommend a better home for your loved ones. PLEASE come visit us and see for yourself.

Southern Gardens is retirement living with a touch of southern charm! Southern Gardens is an great retirement community located right downtown in Lake Alfred. I have had the pleasure of caring for many residents in the building, and the atmosphere is comforting, and very home like. The staff is very friendly, and they have a lot of retention with their employees. The residents are always doing something, and there is a lot of activity within the building. I would recommend Southern Gardens to anyone looking for a retirement community that has a home like feel, and personalized care. Great community!

What a great place ~~~ the staff goes over and above to make sure all runs smoothly and is genuine in the care and love they have for the residents!! Southern Gardens is a gorgeous community. Very warm and cozy. They offer their residents an all inclusive lifestyle for the best rates ever! Amazing staff, everyone was so friendly. And the residents are active playing bingo, cards and they even have live music! They give free tours! A MUST see.
