My parents have been residents of Harbor Chase since November 2021. This facility is a fabulous place!!!! Everyone on the staff is so nice and caring. They truly treat my parents as if they were their own parents or grandparents! The management staff can be seen in the halls frequently. They are always friendly. I especially noticed that they take the time to learn the residents' names. I am not just a relative to them.Many of the staff know me by name. Fantastic!! The facility is very clean. Decorations are placed everywhere to indicate the holidays. The activities available to the residents are fun and varied. There is something for everyone! The Memory Care unit, The Cove, has been the home of my parents for the past 15 months. The director, Charlene, and the care partners, Diamond, T, Q, Katie, and the others (sorry, I can't remember all the names) are so caring and professional. They have some difficult situations to care for on a daily basis. Despite this, they are always professional and caring. My mom is as happy as a lark at Harbor Chase. My dad is slowly becoming more comfortable with the care partners (his quirks, not theirs). I am truly thankful that the Lord blessed us with this facility for Mom and Dad! The cleanliness of the facility is far better than other places I have visited. It always smells so good when I walk through the door. I am thrilled with Harbor Chase. This is the ONLY assisted living community that showed any interest in my parents when we were looking for their forever home. THANK YOU, HARBOR CHASE!!!!

My family had to place our Mom in Harbor Chase The Villages Memory care center for 3 weeks. We needed some much needed Respite care so our family could rest and take our yearly vacation together. Angela Hillert made my husband and I feel our Mom was in very good care. We had a few issues with a nurse by the name Marie that lied several to us about medication. The only medication that could get our mom to sleep. After the first night we checked in on her and it was obvious she did the sleep the night before. We asked why she didn’t give her the prescribed medication. After being told 1. they aren’t allowed to give it in this facility 2. It’s an old medication, it’s not good for her, she might be better off without it, maybe we should try leaving her off it. 3. And finally they didn’t have the Dr. Notes saying she needs it…I called Angela. Angela had a 3 way conference call with the The Memory care Coordinator Charlene), Hospice Nurse, and the lying Nurse on staff. The problem was resolved and we felt confident that Mom would be okay while we rested as a family. Nurse Marie came back and said our mom would be getting her medicine tonight and she would not be there long, she was quitting in two days. No big loss there. An LPN practicing medicine is not worth having on your staff. Harbor chase has an aide named Diamond who is amazing, we loved her and she loved the patients. Anytime we had a question Angela was right on it and had the answer we needed. Unfortunately after 2 weeks Angela resigned. She was the only real professional there aside from the aides that not only cared, but made sure our mom as well, and that we were comfortable with her care. We nearly pulled mom out of there the day I contacted Angela and found out she was no longer there. I tried to get ahold of Charlene when I had questions for 2 days and she didn’t return my phone calls. When I finally spoke to her there she said I hadn’t called her because she always returns phone calls. She told me she had already given me her cell phone number. We assured her she had not. She gave us her cell phone and things went smoother, but Harbor Chase in the Villages is absolutely not the professional place that it was with Angela Hillert in charge. She was amazing and the residents adored her. She was greatly missed, and I’m glad our Mom is back home with us. After I got home from having Mom discharged I called Charlene to tell her they did not return her Morphine or some of her lorazepam. Earlier she assured me I had everything. I thought at the time, if Angela were still here she would have checked and made sure I didn’t have to make another trip back for the narcotics. Harbor Chase should hire Angela back today. She made all the difference with us and that is a fact.

Our family had to move my mother, who has severe Alzheimer's, very suddenly, out of her memory care facility due to neglect.I live out of state and I needed to accomplish everything in 1 day. I was realistic that this was a monumental, and possibly unattainable goal.. Finding a new facility with a bed available, the paperwork, the transfer of the hospital bed, and coordination with transportation and the hospice team were just a few of the many steps and obstacles that needed to be addressed to accomplish this goal.I called Angela Hillert, Director of Sales, at Harborchase and she was absolutely amazing!! From the moment we spoke on the phone she went into action. She met me an hour later and we toured the memory care facility and she answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns.She then quickly began making phone calls and coordinated with my mother's hospice team to make the transfer happen that afternoon.The compassion and attention to detail that Angela provided that day was tremendous, and a true gift to our family, during a time of enormous emotional stress.Needless to say, I am forever grateful. Angela exceeded my expectations that day to help our family and I can't say enough great things about the staff and the care of my mother while she has resided at Harborchase.

I visited this facility initially looking for a temporary place and they were so wonderful and caring that my parents have moved into the assisted living together. Alexander, Jen and Tonya all provided exceptional support to our entire family during this transition. The facility is bright and clean and everyone on the staff is very friendly and helpful. My parents enjoy the meals and the activities and are making new friends. Having my parents at HarborChase has given me peace of mind that they have the help they need in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

I am perfectly happy here at HarborChase. I think it is a wonderful place. I have absolutely no objections with anyone or about anything that they are doing here. The staff treats me wonderfully. I am taking all three meals, but I skip a meal once in a while.

HarborChase of Villages Crossings was very nice but really busy. It had two floors, and the people that I talked to were very nice and very informative, but the fee was a little higher compared to other places. The rooms seemed to be nice.

It's kind of on the way to Clackamas town center. It only had like four rooms. The house was beautiful and so were the grounds and everything. It seemed like a really really nice place but all you had was a teeny tiny little bedroom and there was a little common room. One of the ladies that was helping here was really more of a patient but they let her act like she was part of the staff. That was a little bit odd. My mom didn't want to be that far away.
