Please take this as a cautionary tale. My mother only got to enjoy the Waterford for three months. She fought tooth and nail against selling and leaving her home of 35 years. Once she had moved into The Waterford, she was angry with herself for not doing it sooner. The staff is excellent, not only during the time she was there but also in her death. She loved the food and she was not one to hide her feeling when it came bad meal. To those who dont want to leave their homes, I understand. Dont make the same mistake my mother did. I highly recommend The Waterford. Make the move.

The Waterford has the best health center (nursing and rehab) in the area hands down. The building is clean, the staff are very friendly, and food is incredible. I would like highly recommend.

I recently went to The Waterford and felt so comfortable entering their facilities. At their front entrance they have a team member checking your temperature and asking detailed questions to make sure it is safe for you to enter their facilities. I appreciated all the care they took into making sure everything was clean and safe. Each team member was smiling and happy to help with anything I had a question about. I am so glad I have Waterford taking care of my family members, makes me feel comfort.

I have worked at The Waterford since February 2020. I was embraced by the team members and residents right away. The feeling of community is not only towards our residents, but also for those of us who are lucky enough to work here. COVID-19 struck shortly after my arrival and I feel so fortunate to have witnessed the love, kindness and gratitude shared by all who live and work here. As we have opened up, it is so clear to me why our residents have chosen this as their home. Every tour that I am so lucky to give always comment on how friendly The Waterford is. Friendliness and the willingness to welcome new faces seems to be in the DNA of The Waterford.

The Waterford has been an absolute amazing family to all of its team members and residents through these difficult times of a worldwide pandemic. Between residents, team members, and families they have been able to provide a safe and homelike environment despite what has been going on around us. The Waterford truly values the residents and team members safety and well being. From the security team all the way to the culinary team for Residential Living Residents. Then the nursing team has even taken it to another level. True heroes. They have been absolutely amazing. They truly care, show compassion and love for our residents that are unable to see family members while they have been until there until recently. The Waterford is such an amazing place to live and work.

Because of the pandemic, I was feeling very lonely and isolated. I decided to look at senior living facilities, and what I saw did not come close to fulfilling my needs. Then someone said she had a client who lived at The Waterford and she loved it. I made an appointment and was instantly drawn to the facility, even before looking at the apartments. I was approached by residents as I walked the grounds telling how much they loved living at The Waterford. These were people who had been residing here from between two months and eighteen years! Everyone I passed said hello. The people who work here are extraordinary! They are friendly, helpful and they all call you by name. The residents and staff are like an extended family. The kitchen is very accommodating to dietary needs and will adjust a meal if they are able to do so. The Waterford is a safe haven in a pandemic. Masks are required. Your temperature is taken before entering the facility as well as before entering the dining room. Meals are delivered to apartments for those who feel uncomfortable exiting them. Paper bags are on the tables to store masks safely while dining. Tablecloths and cloth napkins are on each table. The linens are immediately removed and the tables and chairs scoured before the next diners are seated. I have seen four live concerts in the two months I have been here. There are all kinds of activities and exercise classes, both live and on Senior TV. I could keep writing, or you could come for a tour of the Waterford to see for yourself. Welcome! Alyce Ransom

The Waterford is a great place to work or live. The staff and residents are the most friendly Ive ever seen! Management is competent yet empathetic, the events held for both staff and residents lively, and the community itself is beautiful, from the renovated dining room and auditorium, to the ponds where nature is at its best!

I felt comfortable with the tour I took for my grandparents. While it may not be the right community for us, I definitely appreciated the honesty that was shown while we toured. they have a very active calendar, many activities on and off property. the residents appear to be happy and the community is compact with the dining and activity options in the center of the community. this reduces the struggle of what it will look like and how will my family get to dinner

My first words to mind about The Waterford, kind, caring, compassionate team members and fabulous residents. The community is beautiful with gorgeous water views. The food is 5 star - Chef Matt is the best! Nikki and the sales team are just like family, they are helpful, not pushy and the Executive Director Scott stops by to say hi and answer any questions. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for the next place to call home.

Today I start my walk into my 20th year in the community as the Lifestyle Director. I still cannot believe it has been 20 years!!! This community has been one of the most beautiful gifts given to me on my journey. It has been an honor to serve our resident family and to work alongside inspiring, committed team members who motivate me to reach higher dig deeper each day. My wife and I have been Waterford residents since early 2017 and have been very happy. This was true during normal times and is especially true now. The staff is competent and caring - never more so than during previous crises caused by hurricanes and now during the pandemic. Were safe and cared for, and there is no place wed rather be than right here.

The Waterford employees are 100% in my book. The people that work here, I dont know how they know my name, but there is not a person that doesnt call me by name. I cannot rave enough about the people who work here. They are unbelievable. The gardners stop to say hello to me and my dog when we are taking our morning walk. I have been here since February and love every minute. The staff during the pandemic have made me feel safe and comfortable. I can ask any employee for assistance and they always extend a helping hand. The grounds are beautiful.

My grandparents have both passed now but lived at the Waterford for over 10 years. They received the best care and were treated like a well loved family member by every staff member. When my grandmother was ill and hospitalized, she spent time in the skilled nursing are and the care was exceptional. Ive sampled the food and service in the dining room and it was top notch! I will always recommend the Waterford!
