Wow! Visited A friend For dinner, who recently moved into Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens Independent Living. The meatloaf was the best I have ever tasted perfectly season with no salt but exceptionally tasty. Enjoyed the cream spinach also. The next night they blew it out of the ballpark with Manicotti. They are not kidding when they say Luxury Dining. The entire staff especially "Nikki" in Physical Therapy and everyone in housekeeping staff, especially the dining room personnel are so welcoming and helpful. the Engagement (activities) team are phenomenal. work tirelessly to provide musical entertainment, both mind exercising and pleasure games, cocktail hour, bingo, special occasion parties partnered with Dining room director. They make it fun for all youthful independent and physically challenged residents. Janine, Kelsey, Duhane and Marlin make it possible to "Never have a bad day" they're positive spirit is contagious. I'm counting the days until I move in permanently.

We went to see places BellaMar Royal Palm gave 1 nothing lower than that. Brookdale staff was friendly, answered questions we went there to place my aunt with dementia gave us different options studios where small but clean and well kept. 1 bedroom where gorgeous 2 bedroom where beautiful. Amenities 5, pool area 5, dining room menu looks great they said patients had options to eat main dining room had to dress up, eat dining room on there floor, or in there rooms if requested. They had option of different foods breakfast, lunch, dinner nutritions sounded amazing. We will put my aunt at Brookdale it’s an amazing place. No need to take pictures it’s amazing the whole staff it’s great physical therapy rooms are big, they have mass Wednesday via zoom thru local church they get communion and Sundays too.

My Dad decided to relocate from Brookdale in Ohio to Brookdale in Palm Beach Gardens. This was very stressful for us to coordinate since we live in Ohio. Michael was fantastic and helped make sure my Dad was safe and taken care of. He sent us videos of the apartments for my Dad to choose from and spent a lot of time making sure that all of our questions were answered. He really went above and beyond to make my Dad feel comfortable. Shawna from Brookdale at Home was amazing to help coordinate my Dads arrival and also arranged to help unpack my Dad. Urbana was also incredible. She called me at 8:00 pm one night to make sure things were being taken care of. Michael, Shawna and Urbana are true professionals.

By far the most stressful experience I have ever experienced. The staff does not communicate to each other, never mind returning my inquiries or questions. Antiquated paperwork formats for admissions, Policy with no ability to accommodate for special circumstances. Once your check clears you will not get any communications unless they need something. The deal appears reasonable until you move in your family member Then the up charges begin. They are professional at one thing! Finding new ways to charge for services!!! If you don’t use in house Dr’s? 75 additional dollars a month! Vision impaired? Up charges for medication administration! (Even if you control the medication and the Dr. approves the process.). When the family members you meet in the hallways and elevators warn you. They are speaking from negative experiences!!! If finances are not an issue for your family members? Then this is the place. Unfortunately I am trying to stretch my mother’s budget as far as possible. I feel that I have completely let her down.

Finding Brookdale in Palm Beach Gardens has been such a blessing for my parents (& me and my husband)! I began touring several different Senior Living Communities from those with waterfront views in Ft. Lauderdale to Palm Beach Gardens so that I could get a feel for what life could be like for my parents (after a year of health issues and decline in quality of life for them at home) and once I walked inside and met Jill McDowell who took me on an amazing tour and explained all of the unknowns of this journey I found myself in, I knew this was where my mom and dad would thrive again! We all came back for a tour on St Patrick’s Day, when they had a great afternoon lunch and party planned, and they decided to move in! They have been there a month now, and are thriving again, enjoying activities that are scheduled, going to breakfast and dinner so mom doesn’t have to cook (but she can if she wants to), taking the transport to go shopping or signing up for mini golf tournaments and chair aerobics! They are in Independent Living but have help as they need it if Assisted Living becomes necessary. My dad finally realized getting a scooter will help him even more to get around better than with his walker while keeping him from suffering with his bad knee and shoulder (at almost 89, he is no longer a candidate for any knee replacement surgery). The plan was always to age in place at home but the reality set in that it was no longer safe and their quality of life was looking pretty dreary! Staying social at this time in life was also so important for their quality of life and they were no longer doing things that made them happy. I highly recommend BROOKDALE in Palm Beach Gardens for anyone looking into Senior Living for their loved ones! And once you meet Jill and all of the other amazing staff who get to know the residents and treat them so well, and see how happy the residents are, you’ll see for yourself what makes this place so special! My hope for them is that they continue to enjoy their life again and can stay healthy enough to do that while having support when I can’t be there for them. Thank you Jill McDowell for helping me and my parents during one of the hardest journeys in my lifetime!

If you want the very best help from a knowledgeable, intuitive, compassionate, and vibrant soul, ask for Senior Sales Counselor, Corey Compton when you come to this beautiful place when looking for options for either independent or assisted living. My husband lived at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens for a few years some time ago, but then we had to move to a new location for my work. Now we have moved back and found this facility even better than before. Food is usually an issue at senior living places, but not at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens! The food is quite good. This is a friendly, beautiful, and safe place where you can trust the care, and the staff actually DOES care for each resident. My husband is happy to be back. The atmosphere is very positive and uplifting, it is clean, and the residents overall appear content, happy, and cared for. Do not hesitate to check out this facility.

I had the opportunity to visit this amazing community last night with my cousins and I must say I was really impressed with the community. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and offer snacks by the front desk. We toured the pool and the dining area which were all well kept. During our walk through of the community we were approached by two staff members Kareem and Dwayne who introduced themselves and really reassured us that we were In great hands. My parents recently when through an emergency where it became clear they needed extra help in their living situation and I didn't know what to do. I was introduced to Mary Bock with Sunshine Senior Placement and she took us to see Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. The sales rep who worked with us, Corey Compton, could not have been more amazing in showing us the lovely building, helping us select a really nice apartment, and introducing us the the staff. The staff all seem to be energetic and fully engaged with the residents. I went from total panic to gratitude knowing my parents are safe and looked after in a wonderful setting. Corey and the rest of the team are still helping out as my parents get settled and learn the ropes of senior living and it was the best decision we could have made.

In a difficult and extended process of moving my mother from her home to full time assisted living (memory care), I have had an excellent experience working with everyone at Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. As I had no prior experience at this level of engagement with health care providers, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and others, and I do not live in Florida, I was compelled to rely on Corey Compton, Madison Bowman-Compton, and other administrators, staff and medical professionals who are part of the Brookdale community. Adding to that the generally fraught and anxious nature of transitioning an elderly parent into care and all of the emotions that come with that process, they have assisted my mother and me in the best possible ways to get her into a safe and supportive and appropriate situation. I've spent quite a few hours at Brookdale and it is neither depressing nor grim; it's lively, warm, bright and energetic. The rooms and care are a good value and though my mother's residency is just beginning, I have an excellent feeling that her experience living at Brookdale PBG will be as thoughtful and caring and anticipatory as mine was throughout the process of getting her into Brookdale has been, from start to finish. Five stars for the facility, the personnel, the attitude, transparency, follow through and overall experience.

My 91 year old parents wanted to find an Assisted Living Facility that would be the best fit to meet their needs. After researching and touring, my sister and I had the good fortune of meeting Corey Compton, Senior Sales Counselor at Brookdale Senior Living in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Corey is very knowledgeable about the community and does not hesitate to include other Brookdale team members, such as nursing, to answer clinical questions. Corey offered several valuable incentives to keep the cost reasonable and attractive. Corey was willing to go above and beyond with every request we had. We returned 2 more times within a few days with our parents. Corey connected with our parents in a genuine, caring way. Corey facilitates a Sports History group for men and my dad thought he would really enjoy talking sports trivia with the guys. Corey spent an incredible amount of time with us in-person, talking on the phone, texting & emailing. I am so impressed with the generosity Corey has shown our family not only with his time, but with his kindness, compassion and understanding. Many of the residents stopped to introduce themselves to us and told us what a great guy Corey is and how happy they are at Brookdale. After the 3rd or 4th time someone stopped us, it was obvious these residents were sincere and welcoming us into their community. My parents will move-in next month. Thank You, Corey, for making this new transition for Mom and Dad so amazing.

I am thankful to Sydney in the Memory Care for allowing me to perform for the residents. She told me what was needed of me in order to keep the resident’s attention when I first met her, and all I could do was laugh because that’s exactly what I planned on being. Her knowledge with dementia residents and her fun personality help keep them engaged, and she is the perfect person for that position. She will truly be missed when she leaves. Highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly with how they care for their patients. I perform here from time to time and the residents seem very happy. It’s not very often you find a good well kept and patient friendly senior living facility.

Just moved my mother last week to Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. It was a sudden move and I needed professional, QUICK responding staff. This place does exactly that! I cannot say enough about Christy Zillmer, who coordinated everything I needed before I even had to ask. She was kind, patient and very fast! Gave me such a peace of mind. Charmaine and Yvette from MC have been so compassionate and helpful. I met so many staff members right away as they came to introduce themselves, giving me their contact info, and offering to help in any way. The process of moving a parent into memory care is not easy. I feel I can trust them with her care. It’s only been a week, but so far so good. It’s the paperwork process and coordinating the moving company, etc that felt so overwhelming. Christy and the other staff simplified it all! Thank you!

My personal experience with Brookdale as a son with an aging Father has been remarkable. Initially I moved my Dad to Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens from Miami because it wasn't safe for a then 90yr old man to be living by himself. The travel time was extremely hard on me after a 14hr. shift to drive to check on him in Miami then drive back to West Palm Beach. After my dad's relocation to Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. I began to notice the signs of dementia starting to really kick in. Initially he was residing in independent living however, the need for more assistance was obvious. Thank God for the staff members from the administration all the way down to the kitchen workers who kept an eye on my dad and reported issues that needed to be reported about his condition. With their help I was able to get him diagnosed and placed in the memory care unit where now he is living with dignity and pride. Now if only Sidney could help him to remember where he placed his TV remote control.

Mom just passed at 96 and spent the last 18 months at Brookdale. She began with independent living and was recently transitioned to assisted living. She found the staff and residents very friendly - special kudos to Valerie and Kelsey and all the ladies at the main desk. When Mom was declining in health the nurses aides and nurses in assisted living were kind and compassionate and available to Mom. The food menu was limited but Mom looked forward to seeing her friends at dinner - the dining staff was liked and known by name. Most of all it was home to Mom and that means a lot.

My mother (then 95) moved to Brookdale nearly six years ago, because the loss of most of her close friends had led her to feel lonely. She moved into a lovely 1/1.5 independent living apartment and dove into the abundance of activities available at that time. She NEVER complained about the quality or quantity of the meals that were provided. She enjoyed mahjong, bridge, bingo, crochet and crafts, the pool, the entertainment, the outings, and even if she couldn't always remember their names, frequently mentioned her new friends. Covid restrictions made life difficult for everyone, and the low incidence of infection at this facility proves that their approach was the right one. Mom had to celebrate her 100th birthday during their shutdown, but staff went out of their way to make her feel special and even provided us with photos. This fall, her need for additional assistance prompted a move to the same model apartment on the assisted living side, and for the last month of her life, she required private aides around the clock. By observing protocols, we were able to drop in frequently and unannounced, and could not have been more pleased with the quality of care she was receiving. That is perhaps the best selling point for this facility: the care that is provided by the entire staff. No, not everything went smoothly, and we were occasionally frustrated in dealing with administrative details, however, Brookdale PBG receives my family's wholehearted recommendation for the consideration of anyone looking for a caring community for an elderly loved one.

We have not had a good experience. It has been one issue after another. Roaches forced a move from one floor to another. Needed to make multiple requests for a bill after 2 months of residency and it took weeks to get a response. We were billed for 3 weeks of AL instead of IL because even though I requested in writing that she be switched to IL and we paid for private care instead, the switch was never made because someone there didn't think it a 'good idea'. Of course, we didn't find out until over a month later because we didn't get billed (see above) and of course we ended up having to pay for the more expensive AL services that were not provided. We submitted notice to terminate the lease agreement a week ago. It came as no surprise to us that the Director we "worked" with is no longer there so the email was never received. Of course, Brookdale is incapable of arranging to send an automated response back to us indicating the person is no longer there or forwarding the email sent to the person in charge. I found this out by chance only because after 5 weeks of my mother being in skilled nursing, a member of the staff called me to find out where she was. They couldn't find her. Blame it on COVID-19 or whatever, the fact is this is not currently a well-run organization. There were a couple of standout individuals, my mother liked the food and the apartments were very nice. Those are the ONLY reasons I am giving this 2 stars. It's possible that had I lived closer and we weren't in the middle of lockdown due to the pandemic that I would have found the resources needed more easily and my mother would have had a better time of it there. That doesn't excuse the poor administration. The selection of Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens has been one very costly mistake for us.

I looked at this place last year for my parents. A friend lives there and loves it. I thought the decor was too busy and disorienting. I was afraid it would confuse my parents would get lost. Too many patterns on furniture another on the carpeting and art work. Hallways were dark and poorly lit.
