This is a lengthy, heartfelt review. My Mother has resided at The Windsor at Ortega since January 2023 and is loving life! They have exceeded our expectations in every aspect from the leadership, caregivers, medical professionals, activity director, chefs, staff, and therapists. I am totally at peace knowing my Mother is safe and well cared for and bonus she loves her new apartment! (Thank you Lisa, Residence Director)! My mother is 92 and has serious multiple health issues. She previously was prescribed incorrect medications which caused her to become bedridden and living in dark rooms for the last 4 years. After my Father's passing, her then medical team discharged her to The Windsor at Ortega. She's realized a 180 degree turn around solely due to the special care of her onboarding team. In addition, concessions were made by Jennifer, the Head Nurse, due to Mom's extreme photophobia. These concessions gave her eyes the ability to gradually improve over time to become readjusted. DeAndre (activity director and the apple of Mom's eye) went into her room immediately and began working with her to become active and to participate with the group activities. The therapists also worked with her diligently which gave her the ability to strengthen her weak muscles and walk again. Wanda, who was Mother's original caregiver, was awesome with her and was my rock. I literally could not have made it in the beginning without her support. To Makala, Crystal and Nea, I cannot thank you enough for your continued joy you provide in her care. Thank you Dena for assisting mom with menu choices due to her poor vision!! Thank you Ms Ruth for always answering our many questions and providing facility guidance with a smile! I wish I could name and thank each and every person who has touched our lives. I cannot even begin to talk about her miraculous transformation without crying, and it is solely because of you all. The transformation of where she was for four years and where she is now is beyond comprehension and we will be forever grateful. In closing, The Windsor at Ortega made my Mother's transition a seamless process. You can tell when people are meant to be in healthcare especially when so much heart goes into every aspect of their operations. The facility and the grounds are gorgeous, kept impeccably clean, and provides a safe environment for your loved one. You will be doing your family a disservice if you do not include The Windsor at Ortega in your interview process!

My parents have resided in the memory care center since January. My mother passed away in October. The caregivers came to give their condolences even though they were not working that day. I cannot say enough good things about how much the entire staff cares for the residents of Windsor. My Dad is still here & they are very attentive. I have worked closely with the staff at Windsor Ortega and am continually impressed with their professionalism, dedication to their residents and communication regarding the residents clinical needs. Windsor is a beautiful, home-like property that offers wonderful options for independent, assisted and memory care. It is conveniently located for maintaining an active lifestyle and allows for frequent visitors. The community and grounds kept extremely clean and all of the staff make you feel welcome and like family.

Had a wonderful tour of this community several weeks ago. The team at The Windsor were very welcoming and provided lots of information and answered all of our questions and concerns. And, even though we have not taken the next step with my dad, Caroline has kept in touch with our family on dad's well being. We were invited to a recent event at The Windsor that centered around the VA and possible benefits to include Aid and Attendance. The guest speaker was excellent and very informative. If you are looking for a welcoming community for a parent or friend, please check out The Windsor at Ortega.

The Windsor San Pablo is a fantastic community. They care for their residents and treat you like family. I highly recommend taking a tour if you are looking for Assisted Living for yourself or your family. The food is great too!!

Wonderful place to live! The staff provide a warm and caring environment which ensures that each resident is given an excellent experience. In addition, the wide variety of activities avaible each day, amazing dining experience, and rehabilitation care available in house separates the Windsor from other similar places in the area.

A great place for anyone that has reached the point in life where they need assistance in daily living. My Daddy was a resident there years ago and received all the care he needed. I have a dear friend that is thinking about assisted living and I'm recommending the Windsor to her based on the experienced we had there years ago, and the visit/tour of the facility I had yesterday. I am convinced they are still offering the same quality care for their residents today. Kind and courteous staff.

Special thanks to Therese Meyers for all of the time she spent with me to make my move to Windsor possible. The very best food ever! Freshly prepared, seasoned just right and you can eat it with your eyes! Check them out for any awesome experience and to be guided by the true experts!

The staff is very kind and attentive. My MIL had a great experience with her move in. Jonah from PT is compassionate and encouraging. Wendy from Intake has been helpful and made the transition from the rehab center as easy as possible. They are taking the recent Delta variant of COVID seriously and we appreciate that. The apartment is homey and the general surroundings are welcoming.

The Windsor includes the local communities to attend special events at their facility--movies, Trivial Pursuit games, and now Covid safe free lunches. Our St. Patricks Day box lunch contained a delicious Rueben sandwich and decorated potato chips brought to us by cheerful, costumed staff. Ive been meaning to write this review since I moved my mom into The Windsor at Ortega back in October. It was an extremely stressful time for my mom and for myself and I was blown away by how wonderful the entire staff was. Peter Nasif, in particular, was really exceptional. He always took the time to answer all of our questions and he went out of his way to make the process as smooth as possible from the initial tour to move-in day. Everything he said has come to fruition and Im so thankful that my mom is in such a great place and she is receiving excellent care.

I have been so impressed with this community and the people here. They have gone above and beyond from the first contact all the way through to move-in and going forward. This is a trying time and the first person to help us was Peter Nasif; he was comforting and reassuring and worked to accommodate us on a very short timeline. Shenequa was the nurse assigned to provide an evaluation and she was a gem, never losing her composure even through a very trying family situation. And Jenn Stratton helped us with the actual lease and move-in. She was a great guide through the process, and was patient with all of our questions when it was hard to concentrate. These people are no less than amazing, and the care, treatment and assistance they provide to our loved one is incomparable. Im so glad to have found them.

My father in law has been in The Windsor for not yet a week and so far the experience has been amazing. While he is still adjusting to a new home, all the staff are making us all feel "at home". He is greeted with hellos and smiles from Veronica at the front desk to everyone in the dining room to all the gentle ones bringing his meds or just offering to take him to a meal. We are looking forward to a great future at The Windsor of Ortega.

I am sorry to see someone else had a bad experience here, but our family experience was overwhelmingly positive. Our mother just passed and was a resident at Windsor for almost two years. The facilities were excellent, and all the services were top-rate. Most importantly, the people, from top down, were caring and compassionate and loving. I cannot say enough good things about the Windsor.
