They wouldn't put any side rails up and my daughter fell out of the bed and hit the wall had a brain bleed and she died from that at 38 years old with five children. My daughter would ring her Bell and sometimes people wouldn't come for a long time and when she fell out of bed they still didn't come for a while even though her neighbor kept pressing the button for someone to come but it took them a while and at that point she was still breathing but nobody did anything about it. The director never would take any of my questions and her door was always shut and my daughter was there for several years but the director would never talk to me and I don't think anyone else either and that's a crying shame so I feel like I killed my daughter. People stole from my daughter her cute little clothes and jewelry and anything else that could get their hands on. The place was very nice but other than that I can't say too many good things about it

My mother has only been at Anthem for about a month, and while she usually takes some time to adjust to anything new, she seems to be settling in quite nicely. Thank you Heather for the dotting i's and crossing t's portion and knowing how to calm a weary soul! The campus is beautiful and the staff, particularly Sheila, have been caring and responsive. Everyone is friendly and the staff takes the time to interact with the residents. So far I am very happy with the decision to move to Anthem.

What a blessing Anthem Lakes and staff have been for my mom and our family. The facility is beautiful and clean. The staff have been very caring. And Sheila and Scott and LaTonya are rock stars. They are so accommodating to me with all my calls and text messages since I live 6 hours away. The only reason I give this four and not five stars is the food. My mom does not eat breakfast, ever. Never has. It would be nice if we could get a credit on her rent for a two meal plan. I know several ladies there that would benefit from a little savings for a two-meal only plan. Anyway, you would not go wrong choosing this facility. Tell them Anne and Cheryl sent you.

My only problem is the great age difference between me & the other residents. It's difficult to make any real connections. I'm only 67, relatively young or rather sort of young. The apartments are wonderful. The activities crew are great. The campus is very nice.

After Being in this Field for many years, and in several buildings in a professional and personal environment, I can honestly say I am impressed with Anthem. The staff is courteous, and helpful and they stop what they’re doing to engage with visitors and family members where needed. Walking through the halls, I witnessed multiple staff members interacting on a personal level with Residents and also the Administration Team. The activities are continuous throughout the day in both memory care and assisted living locations. When placing your loved one you want to make sure they are in a safe and nurturing Environment. This establishment has met and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this assisted living community to anyone trying to place a loved one!!

Wow, what an amazing place! The staff is very knowledgeable, and willing and able to complete task, And they complete them in a timely manner. They always walk the halls with smiles on their faces, and interact with residence several times throughout the day. The building is beautiful kept up and clean. Everyone from the Administrator, The Director of Nursing, to the Floor staff, are always available, Walking the halls and interacting with residence during breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Times. One main thing that I always wonder about in an assisted living building Activities. The activities in this building are vibrant and continuous throughout the day. This building is a well organized establishment that cares for your loved ones as we would our own!! I would recommend this ALF to anyone looking For a safe, encouraging, interactive community!! 10 + STARS !!

My father n law is living at Anthem Lakes in memory care. Like all facilities they have a glitch occassionally but for the most part they are excellent. Good food , care and nice surroundings. The caretakers and nurses are excellent with Lynette's leadership. I don't want to forget anyone so I won't give any names but they are great. Bob Brack

Even tho' my mother only was able to live at Anthem for a very short time, I am thankful and pleased with the experience she had until she passed away. We were very pleased with the care she received from everyone, the food and staff. All of the staff always treated my mother very well, even when she was a little confused and not so co-operative. I appreciate the staff and management of Anthem Lakes, especially Sheila, Paul and Scott. They are a first rate team and i will miss seeing them very much!

We have lived at Anthem Lakes for three years. We are well pleased with the care, services, amenities, staff and food service. The staff has proven to be a bright light in this dark pandemic situation. They have exhibited extreme professionalism and care. We have lived through at least one of the negative reviews written in this section. The individual involved was given every possible chance to be a member in good standing in this community. He elected to decline every opportunity. Kudos to the staff and management of Anthem Lakes. They are a first rate team. We would not want to be anywhere else.

Anthem Lakes is a premier retirement community in the Jacksonville area. I visit many communities everyday and Anthem Lakes is one of the most professional and caring I have ever had contact with. The residents there love living there and are very active. The management team is a pleasure to work with. They are very knowledgeable about this industry and care for each resident like they are family! Last but not least the food is 5 stars and the activities are stellar!

A beautiful new facility with a friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Meals are prepared with the individuals dietary needs in mind; all very tasty and satisfying. A daily menu and separate al carte menu are available in print and as viewed on the system TV. Room cleaning and laundry services are provided. Persons in assisted living are given individual attention as required, staff wirelessly on call. Come see and experience for yourself.
