I can’t fully express the feelings my family has for Plantation Oaks. My mother, Kay Collins was a 100 years old when we moved her from her apartment to the pleasant surroundings of Plantation Oaks. Mom was just short of her 102nd birthday when we lost her, but the wonderful staff and management of Plantation Oaks had turned those last days into a family experience, for my mother and for our family. I can’t speak for other facilities, but the staff of young women and men, are simply the kindest, most caring and professional care givers you could hope for. My mother lasted, in my opinion, an additional year because of the wonderful environment and treatment she received. She considered Plantation Oaks her home and the staff and residents her extended family. My brothers, my wife and I, want to thank Meta McClain and all of her wonderful staff, for taking such great care of my mother. They made her final months happy and productive, in spite of the Covid lock down and declining health. Thank you all again, and it is very easy for me to say, we love you all for you compassion and professionalism, but most of all for the love you showed a 101 year old member of the greatest generation.

My mother has been here for two years... and it is by far the best assisted living facility in the region. Im a nurse, and a tough critic, but the genuine caring and exceptional cleanliness of this place is second to none. I would recommend Plantation Oaks to anyone looking for a home away from home for their loved one.

I am newly retired and love southern gospel and bluegrass music. I was looking to bring music to those who would appreciate good heartfelt Christian oriented and uplifting songs from the Good old days . When I first walked through the door to inquire about playing songs for the folks there...I was overwhelmed by the staff and the approach of kindness I received. I very much look forward to hearing back from this facility and the opportunity to make a pleasurable time meeting those that mean so much to their families and friends. I hope to become their friend also. Thank you to the staff..whether they choose to have me for entertainment. Keep up the good work. Keith (Flat-top)

My mother lived at this facility for over a year and I loved it for her. Before she wasn't a really happy person at the last facility I had her in but once I put her in Plantation Oaks she was always in a great mood. Always !!! My mom passed away on August 26, 2017, due to complications from a stroke. When first admitted to the hospital she was worried about all her friends and wanted to go back. I couldn't ask for a better or cleaner place to have taken my mom to before she passed. THANK YOU !!!!

The community lifestyle has been very good for my wife. Like any community there are some good staff and some need to be changed out with new ones. But it is the nicest one I have been too. They have been good with her dementia.

My mom is doing really well with adjusting to this community. The staff is very helpful to her needs. The community is very nice and clean and always maintained. The meals seem to be very good with a nice variety. She is offered to participate in activities with the other residents. This is what we were looking and would highly recommend the community to other families for the care and the value

Everybody was very kind to me during my tour of this community. It is a nice community, but a little to country for our taste. I didn't really like the decor, visually it wasn't my mother's taste. The menu's I saw didn't really have good variety of food for the residents to choose from. Also the memory care unit didn't appear to be very organized. This is a decent community with friendly people.
