When the neurologist informed me that it was time to place my wife in a care home he referred me to a non-profit group that was a transitional case manager. I contacted them and they screened the available facilities near me and arranged tours of a couple that came out at the top of their list. After completing the tours and interacting with the staffs I selected Barrington Terrace as the home for my wife. Mindy Owens was one of the directors that I dealt with extensively at Barrington and her assistance was invaluable as she guided me through the process and paperwork. I chose Barrington because of what I saw as their emphasis on quality of resident life and daily activities that are scheduled to encourage the interaction with others in the community. My wife has been there almost 3 months now and my almost daily visits have given me the opportunity to interact with most of the entire staff and to the last they are positive, professional, and friendly. I am very happy that I chose them to care for my loved one.

My Mom is very excited to be moving into Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers. Mindy Owens, Community Sales Director, is wonderful. The facility has been refurbished and is decorated in beautiful colors. The atmosphere is very welcoming.

This is the third care center my father has been in since the beginning of his Parkinson’s journey. It is by far the best. Specifically I witnessed Faye and Christina in the Evergreen memory care unit, treat each and every resident with such kindness and caring. They are all taken care of so well. Groomed, fed well, comforted. They all seem very content and calm. It’s just such a relief to know that I can be assured that he is receiving true, kind quality care.

My mother's sister is very dear to me, and I wanted to make sure that she would get all that she wanted in this last decade of her life. She asked to be moved to a minimum care facility where she could live without responsibility or worry about her day to day responsibilities. She wanted to be with new friends that shared her joy of living, keeping busy with fun daily activities and staying somewhat physically active. When we toured Barrington, I was immediately struck by the huger foyer and the abundant sunshine that permeated every bit of the large high ceilinged entry room hub. Ahead was a brilliant bright dining room and to the left was a sunny courtyard with trees, flowers and birds. Mindy and Theresa did not pressure us at all about commitment to choose this place, but spent countless hours with us answering all of our questions and concerns with integrity, honesty and honor. My Aunt has been there for weeks now and none of that kindness to us has waned. In fact, as they get to know her, they have made her happier each day. When we spoke yesterday she said, "Clifford, I feel like I am home here now". (I cried, just a little). Those words made me so very happy. They watch her dutifully to make sure she takes her meds and to be certain that she is tested regularly to adjust the dosages. My parents were in 3 facilities in NJ over the last 10 years. Those were such horrid places (by comparison) that my folks only declined to their deaths during their stay. My Aunt is 92 and to the contrary, I am confident she will gracefully soar to 100+ in this nurturing oasis where she has now settled. There is memory care across the way, but she won't need it. 'Nuff said? Best care on the planet. Take a look and see for yourself. I could not be happier with the care that is being given to my mother's sister. Most of all, she is happy, and that is what I wanted for her, more than anything. Now that my mother has passed, Alice needs to feel safe, and not alone.

The food is good the place is kept clean. The staff cares about the residents. Teresa and Mindy in the sales office are very knowledgeable about their job and presents a very warm feeling to families to bring their loved ones here. They do an excellent job

The staff, management team, and doctors did an amazing job of keeping us informed during my Dads time at Barrington. With the pandemic, and his declining health, it was comforting to know he was well taken care of in a safe and beautiful environment!

My mom has been in Barrington Assisted Living for a little over a month. She likes it there even though she thought she would not. They staff are extremely friendly, the food is good and there are plenty of activities for her to get involved.

My Dad was there for only 3 short months before he passed. He was cared for with love and compassion. The nursing staff, doctors and the management staff were excellent. They were always looking for ways to give each day he was there the happiest and the best for him that it could possibly be.The steps they took to keep everyone safe and healthy during a horrible pandemic was above all! A beautiful, clean and wonderful facility that I would recommend to anyone looking for that wonderful place to put your loved one.

I am pleased with how my Dad was taken care of at Barrington. Going through the Covid crisis was difficult for him but the staff did their best to protect the patients and was able to keep them as safe as possible. Barrington is a place that keeps everyone busy and entertained as they would want to be. Nice clean environment

My family and I recently moved my father here after being in a different memory care ALF for over a year. To start, the leadership team has shown true empathy, understanding and involvement in my fathers transition of care. They worked with my mother and I to ensure that it was the right fit for my father and his needs. The caregivers and staff have been truly caring and attentive to my fathers physical and cognitive needs. The facility itself is beautiful, clean and feels more like a hotel than a care facility. We are grateful and hope this level of quality care continues.

My mother-in-law spent her last 2 1-2 years at Barrington Terrace, having previously been in 3 other ALFs. This one is clearly the best. They did a wonderful job in keeping us informed and keeping her safe. The staff is caring and supportive. Everyone, from the receptionists to the nursing staff, from the janitors to the administrative personnel was friendly and helpful. . We thank you all.

Our Mother has been at Barrington Terrace for almost two years and she has received nothing less than the BEST of care, kindness and love from the amazing employees of BT. The staff at every level should be commended and praised for their excellent knowledge and care for the residents. Even during these trying times they have done an amazing job following the rules plus helping our family communicate with our Mother. I highly recommend Barrington Terrace to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care for their loved one.

Wholeheartedly recommend Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers! Mom and Dad have been there now for almost 3 weeks and the difference between this wonderful facility and the last one is like day and night. These people are wonderful, they are caring, they are helpful. Everything they do here is far and away above any place weve seen. We even hear the food is good! Barrington Terrace keep up the awesome work!!!

I can not feel more blessed for finding the Barrington Terrance Community. My mom has been a resident of the memory care community for 14 months. What an incredible place, staff is warm an inviting and they care about your love one. I could not have found a safer place to call my moms home. This COVID-19 has really taken a tole on all of us. The staff has made many changes to create a healthy and safe environment for our loved ones. I do not think 5 stars are enough to tell you the quality of care that is given.

If you need an assisted living and memory care facility this is the place to go. They have the most compassionate staff, from the Executive Director to the maintenance staff. Many have been there for years. Marketing will work with the family regarding their budget. Activities and food are excellent. I love getting daily updates on the events my ward is involved in.

I knew Barrington Terrace of Ft Myers, was top-notch from the first day I walked through their doors. The receptionist knew my name, and addressed me as if I was already a part of the Barrington family. Finding an ALF that offers flexibility for the varying care my parents need seemed almost impossible, but BT-FM was incredibly accomodating. I was impressed by their efforts to make my parents transition as stress-free as possible. Their staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Everyone helps out wherever theyre needed. I feel my parents are safe and well-cared for because there is truly a close-knit community atmosphere.

Mom has been a resident for several years now and we have been so pleased with her care, the amazing staff, the food, the attention, the attitudes, the environment. The atmosphere of compassion and caring is shown by all staff members, Nurses and all departments including maintenance, laundry and other workers.

We just want to thank all the Caregivers at the Barrington Terrace in Ft. Myers. We moved our parents down here 2 and a half years ago from an Arbor Property in N.J. They loved being here until they both passed away within 3 months of each other. They lived into their 90's and were cared for with love and compassion. Again thank you for all you have done to enrich the last years of their lives!

My mother has now lived at Barrington Terrace for almost a year and we couldnt have made a better choice for her. So far it has been a wonderful experience and my mother is enjoying life much more than when she was living alone. She has friends, activities, and entertainment in a safe, clean environment. The staff, who are wonderful caring people, take care of her every need, from medications and physical therapy to making sure she stays involved with exercises, crafts, ice cream socials and eating three healthy meals every day! My mom is happy and we have peace of mind. ????

I can't say enough good things about this awesome place. We moved my mother, Florence, into Barrington Terrace two weeks ago after checking out several other places. We fell in love with the vibrant, alive atmosphere of the large, round lobby where residents gather for all kinds of social activities such as ice cream socials and musical entertainment. The beautiful white grand piano is a lovely focal point. The lobby is surrounded by all the offices, nurses station, beauty salon, dining room and activities rooms making everything close and easy access for the residents. But what sold us the most on Barrington were all the smiles and hellos from the friendly staff. I've never met more caring, compassionate people. From our first contact with Mindy and then Martine answering our questions and guiding us through the whole process, to Rachel getting my mom involved in activities, the helpfulness of the receptionists, executive staff, nurses and nurse practitioner listening to my mother's concerns, and all the workers helping and checking on my mom day and night. My mother is loving all the attention with everyone going out of their way to make her feel very special. And the gorgeous dining room serves delicious meals! So after three weeks in Florida getting my mother settled into her new home and getting to know the fun loving staff, I sadly must say goodbye and return to my home in Oregon. But I leave knowing my mother is in a wonderful, safe environment being well taken care of. So thank you to everyone at Barrington, and I'll see you, mom, in November for your 91st birthday!! Love you so much!

We moved my mom there last week. She is cared for, helped when she needs it, and the activities keep her involved. She's made some friends and is happy. She feels like she is in a hotel. I am very pleased with how well she is cared for. The staff cares for her and about her. Barrington Terrace is an answer to my prayers.

My sweet Mom lived at Barrington Terrace for 2 years and 9 months. We moved out today to a place closer to her family. It was a sad day in so many respects as we had such a great experience. The staff is amazing, there is always someone to help solve problems, smiling faces, good care and lots of activity. Barrington folks you will be missed!

I absolutely love my job, whether it'shelping them when needed, doing crafts or just talking to our residents and seeing them smile. I love the special bonds that not only I but my co workers have with so many of our residents and their family members ...we have an amazing staff that truly cares about our residents and family members.
