The Palace can be proud of their kind, responsive, efficient, staff at the front desk and behind the scenes. Requests and complaints are handled immediately by Executive Director Josh, Manny, and Nancy. This has been a life changer for my siblings. Our mother requires 24/7 attention and until we began to deal with the Palace, our lives were totally hijacked by the constant no-shows and incompetent schedulers. We have experienced both The Belmont and The Grand and have a frame of reference for comparison. The Palace wins, hands down. If a caring staff of companions is what you or your family member needs, you will be in very good hands with Ivan, Alex, Lilly, and Flor who handle staffing and scheduling. I wish I could give the kitchen the same review. Nope! Although breakfast is excellent and generous and the first few meals we had there were fine, the quality of the food currently being served at dinner is simply unacceptable to the point of being inedible. We are upset by the decline in quality. The dishes served are clearly reheated, limp, frozen, and tasteless. The entrees are gloppy in texture, and an insult to the residents. There is no attempt to present entrees in an appealing fashion. My siblings and I do our best to avoid eating there and take our mother out when possible. The dining room waitstaff are now made up of 14-year-old students, with the exception of Emmanuel who bends over backwards to accommodate. I understand the food at The Palace on Kendal is excellent. Perhaps the chef there could work with the kitchen at the Coral Gables location.

My mother in law moved into the Palace and found a place of friendship and comfort. From the initial site visit to the move in and occupancy, every single person made her life meaningful and enriching. The staff are amazingly kind and helpful. They hung her pictures, set up her internet, introduced her to other residents, catered to her meal requests, took her to her doctor appointments, and so much more. The facility is beautiful; it looks like a real Victorian Era Palace with fine art, gold filigree, fresco ceilings, live entertainment nightly. I'd have to compare it to a cruise line experience without the ship. Each night the residents can order off the regular menu or the menu of the day and can cross order from both for a customized meal. There is also a substantial Jewish clientele so The Palace caters to both Jewish and Christian holidays and customs. They have complimentary valet and tipping is not allowed anywhere. I've never seen a more caring organization than The Palace in Coral Gables. The cost to live at the Palace isn't cheap but everything is included except for maybe some field trips.

Even though my Mom only lived at The Palace for four and a half months, her experience was inclusive and joyful. She made some very good friends while there and I consider them to be my forever friends also. The activities offered, the meals provided, the happy hours complete with entertainment and the brunches for families on special holidays were all part of an offering that was so special and familial. I will be forever grateful for this truly special place.

The Palace team went above and beyond to get to know my dad and to engage with him, to make him comfortable and to really care for him as a person. Beyond this, the kindness that so many Palace team members showed to me and to my family really helped us in immeasurable ways as we navigated dad’s journey. This is a group that knows their business but also genuinely cares for the members of their community and their families. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily Perez, Resident Relations Manager at The Palace in Coral Gables. For the past two and a half weeks, Emily has gone above and beyond in helping us coordinate and completely transform my 89-year-old father’s apartment. She oversaw the removal of the existing rental furniture and light fixtures and assisted extensively in managing the entire process from start to finish. We ordered new furniture from more than 15 different companies, including IKEA, Wayfair, Ashley Furniture, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, City Furniture, and more. Emily ensured that every single item was tracked, handled with care by the mailroom and her team, and promptly delivered to my father’s apartment. She and her staff were always available to help in any way possible, including removing and breaking down all of the cardboard boxes from the many deliveries. On each delivery day, Emily thoughtfully arranged for the rental furniture to be removed beforehand, making space for the new pieces without disturbing my father. Emily and her team made what could have been a very overwhelming process feel completely smooth and seamless. Her attention to detail, incredibly quick responsiveness to emails and phone calls, and outstanding organizational skills made my life much easier. I was able to relax knowing my father and this entire project were in such capable and caring hands. Emily and her team are absolutely incredible. We truly could not have done this without her. My father’s new furniture looks amazing in his apartment, and we are beyond grateful. Kudos to The Palace for hiring such a fantastic employee who genuinely cares.

I do not fit the typical demographic of a resident at the palace of Coral Gables. I came here due to an injury caused by a very serious illness and honestly did not I was going to last very long. I have found that the encouragement provided by All the staff and many residents has been extremely helpful in my recovery and encourages me to continue fighting. Everybody here is extremely nice and welcoming, and I've made some rather interesting acquaintances and friends. I recommend the Palace of Coral Gables with zero reservations.

My experience has been very positive. I have always received very pleasant and harmonious response with regards to my needs. I am not savy in technology and need assistance frequently and the team is incredible and supportive at all times. Before I moved, I had great support from Nancy and the maintenance team. I've been working with Luis, Lazaro, Hector, Nilda, Manny, Bernadette, and Emily. It was very nice to have a moving company lined up that I arranged. I was very gratified with how quickly my empty boxes were picked up. Lucy and her team were competent to ensure the cleaning was coordinated timely to make me feel at home and organized. I am adjusting and making new friendships, I have met about 20 people already. I am very happy here and I am thankful to be in such a special place.

All of the managers and staff are dedicated and truly involved in making sure that the residents are well taken care of, loved and happy being at The Palace. They offer a multitude of amenities and activities to their residents. They take the time to truly know the residents by name, likes, dislikes and everything relating to each individual person living there. They even have many activities that involved the residents' families and closed friends whom are always welcome. Kudos and thanks for going above and beyond! I am back to update my previous review from a few years back. I recently visited The Palace at Coral Gables and I still feel that this is the best place to have any loved ones in the third age to live-in during their retirement years. The residents are friendly and welcoming to any newcomers. I have visited a couple of times as a guest and even though I do not reside at this wonderful and beautiful place, I always feel welcome and as if I belong. Additionally, all of the staff is very professional, friendly, compassionate and caring. Starting with the Valet service , to the reception, dinning department, concierge, housekeeping and all the way to the maintenance department which keeps the building, well, updated, luxurious and sparkling,. I was so impressed with The Palace Coral Gables, you feel like you’re in a luxury hotel from the moment you walk in. It’s so beautifully decorated and everyone makes you feel welcomed and the location can’t be beat. There’s even a walkway to Miracle Mile, so you don’t even need a car. This way, you can enjoy , shopping and entertainment in walking distance. Living at The Palace and so close to Miracle Mile means being part of the city and enjoying access to cultural events and festivals and even a farmer’s market. The Palace’s location is simply the best.

The Palace is quite frankly the best, there’s no other community in the United States like it. The Palace has been my home for the past 6 years. The food is fantastic, the activities are tailored to everyone and there’s a true sense of family amongst all the residents and staff. The young employees are like grand kids to us! This Luxury senior living facility has changed a lot. They have 18 year olds working the reception area now. They asked my name 3 times before letting me in to visit my customer. They were very busy playing and comparing scores on a video game. I think that's why it made it difficult for them to catch my name. Few years ago they had a guest list signing in. Not anymore.
