So after my 1 star review. I have spoken to many, at Superior Residences. My 96yr old grandmother is glad to be back with, friends. Glad to say my conversations with all staff and the Director went okay. Very unhappy with the lack of care. My grandmother recently received if her Shower days are 2x a week. How on earth did it go unseen and unnoticed. Her Pacemaker was coming through her skin. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE

Superior Residences celebrated July 4th yesterday The last Friday in June! The Staff opened our doors to outside families to be guests for a meal prepared specially for The Holiday!! People of all ages shared a meal, played a spinning wheel game for prizes , of fried chicken onion rings plantains hamburgers/cheeseburgers cold drinks for the hot day at hand! Photos were obtained by staffers for our Own Facebook Website. I’ll have to check it out soon! And fresh watermelon or pastries for dessert A cake was given in honor a long term employee who is trying out retirement! I really enjoyed myself as I mingled with the crowd to just say hello and we are so very glad that you came! The Kitchen staffers put on a fine meal

I had to make the incredibly difficult decision to move my husband into Memory Care. I'm so thankful I chose Superior Residences of Clermont. From my first contact with Sabrina, I was touched by her genuine warmth & caring. Actually, the first time I met with her, I realized i was just not ready to make the move. No pressure from Sabrina! Just compassion & understanding. I waited 2 months to post a review. During the course of stays in Rehabs, I've learned that sometimes Facilities look, sound & seem good initially but the day-to-day reality is quite different. My appreciation for Superior Residences and the Staff has only grown. The Care Team is attentive & personable. Every one of them treat the residents with affection and dignity. My husband has some special dietary needs. They went above and beyond to accommodate him. The meals are good and prepared to be enticing.. The Activity Director has a variety of things going on everyday throughout the day and encourages the residents to be involved. Doesn't pressure them. Encourages them Every Dept Head is accessible & responsive. Their interest and involvement has not wavered = it's for real. They take pride in their Facility and take caring for my husband, as an individual, seriously. AND Meds are on-time (anyone who's had a loved one in any type of Facility knows this can be, generally is, a nightmare.) My husband is actually flourishing here. He's interacting with others. He's well cared for and about. There's generally live entertainment @ 2:30. My husband has actually danced with me!! I'm also flourishing once again. I'm no longer the overwhelmed, frustrated, exhausted wife. When I see him, I'm his happy, uplifting wife. And, by the way, there aren't restrictions about me being able to visit him. Moral of the story: I'm glad I finally made the move. It's best for both of us. I'm thankful and appreciative that he's here. I highly recommend Superior Residences of Clermont.

When it came time to move my 93 year old father in law to an assisted living facility nearby, I reached out to a friend who does therapy dog work for recommendations. Immediately she suggested Superior Residences of Clermont. The administration and staff have always been very responsive and supportive. There’s so much relief for our family knowing my father in law can enjoy his spacious apartment and a variety of activities to chose from to maintain his sense of independence in a safe environment. His oldest son, who is legally blind, also shares their large two-bedroom apartment (each with their own bathroom), and it’s been wonderful to see him develop friendships with other residents and staff. Avid film & tv buffs, they enjoy movie nights in the theater room and organized weekly group screenings of Star Trek & Piccard to socialize and discuss. The staff is amazing - like most places, it’s challenging to finding new hires. However, there is not the constant turnover that you see in many other facilities, and it’s a team atmosphere where everyone pitches in to help the residents even if not their specific role. The only area that isn’t quite to the level of care is the food. While perfectly adequate, obviously dining quality is important to those whose schedules revolve around meals. We brought our loved ones feedback to the administration and appreciate that they are working on solutions - between finding new suppliers, more diabetic-friendly options, and trying to hire additional serving staff. One final item that sold us on Superior is that they are one of the few facilities in the area that have a full license that will allow my father in law to age in place. When the time comes that his needs are greater than assisted living, he can transition to the next levels of nursing & memory care - without the stress & disruption of finding and moving a totally new place. We are very happy with our selection of Superior Residences of Clermont, and would recommend them to any family who is looking for a good place for their loved one. It’s not the fanciest building or the newest, but it’s clean, comfortable, and most importantly the entire staff (from admin, activities, assistants, housekeeping, kitchen, and nursing) are dedicated caring professionals.

My background is in caregiving, education, and customer service. It just so happens that I owned, operated and helped provide care to young children at Magic Moments Learning Centers in Clermont for many years. Older clients come with their own set of needs, and when my father needed memory care, Superior Residences was my choice. The center was warm and inviting, as were all of the staff that I met. The nurses and CNA's that care for those in memory care are extremely compassionate, and I feel comfortable in speaking with any of the team about any questions or concerns I might have. The office and management team always have a smile, the resident food is good, and the activities director strives to always have something for all of the residents to do! Families of both the young and the aged need to know that their loved ones are safe and well cared for, and even through COVID, Superior has managed to keep their operation at a high level of excellence. I know it can't be easy, thank you for patiently and lovingly caring for our families!

My work background covers more years than I like to admit to and includes 50 in the Hospitality Industry. That 50 years included restaurant management and ownership; plus. a long stay in county clubs and dining clubs. Those fields are not easy but the retirement facility industry combines the problems and difficulties of all of those into one and is therefore more difficult. For a little more than one year now, I’ve been a resident at Superior Residences. For purpose of this article: Perfect is a score of 91% to 100%; Excellent is 81% to 90% Outstanding is 71% to 80% and, OK is 70% or less. Management: Staff here uses a technique I believe in, Wandering Around. That sounds counterproductive but, actually it lets management see, hear and discuss issues with department managers, staff and patrons. Resident Care is part of Management and staff duties. The needs of the residents here will vary greatly as determined by their personal health. Mine is very good and requires little more than my daily meds, so I fall in the minimum care bracket. Many other residents that I have come to know personally require much more care than I do and seem to be happy with it and are being well served. Management rating: Excellent Personal Care rating: Excellent Communications: Direct communication with the public, staff, and residents is very important and, here at Superior, is top notch from telephone answering to newsletters, and fliers to residents, Also, the Front Desk reception staff is outstanding, Communication Rating; Excellent. Housekeeping is unusually good/. Cleanliness and attention to detail is first rate. This is extremely important in any operation subject to Health Department

My mother entered this facility as an Assisted Luving resident. I was nervous . She thrived for a long time but now is a resident in the Memory Care. I feel totally confident that she is receiving compassionate and thorough care. As her mental capacity changes I know that kind, competent staff members are paying attention and responding to her needs appropriately. Staff members call me if she asks for something since she cannot use a phone alone. They call and let me talk with her. I am SO grateful that we found Superior Residences in Clermont and grateful to every staff member who is there for the residents.....because they really ARE there for each resident. Nancy Zambito

My mother became ill and was in need of a facility that would care for her. We were struggling with putting her in any care other than our own. We called a few places and none were as amazing as the response we got from Superior. Nelson was incredible he explained everything to us in detail. The place has a homey feeling.
