I was skeptical about leaving my mom at an assisted living facility. I looked at places all around town. My family and I decided on Benton House,and we couldn’t be happier. They welcomed my mom with open arms and she had the warmest reception when she walked in on day one. Everyone on the staff is so friendly. When I call to ask questions they talk with me and don’t make me feel like I’m bothering them!!! We made the right decision, for sure!

I believe this is probably the best nursing facility I've seen! I recently was faced with the task to place my cousin and her husband into a facility. I researched extensively on the internet and discovered the Benton House of Clermont. I cannot be happier with their new home! I have peace of mind knowing that they're not just being "housed" but are living life to the fullest there. The building is beautiful. Meals are a culinary delight. The staff is so friendly and caring. My cousins get to enjoy so many activities and day trips to make their life seen "normal", even though they're in memory care. I also like that I can look at the Benton House of Clermont Facebook page and see all the wonderful things they are doing with their residents! I'm adding photos here of my cousins' room and how happy they look living at the Benton House.

My 86 year old father stayed at Benton House for one month while my mom had to travel abroad. The staff was so kind to dad, helping him throughout the day with anything that came up. He has very poor vision and sometimes struggled to dial numbers on his mobile phone or mistakenly decreased the volume. No matter how many times he needed help, there was always someone there to assist and they did it with a smile. He also said the food was delicious! 5 stars for The Benton House in Clermont!

I am grateful for this place and the staff (Pam, Sonia, Ashley, Bertha, Lila, Monica, Kyrie, Valerie, and Jared just to name a few). The Benton House of Clermont is split up into two sides, the Memory Care (Beacon) side and the Assisted Living Facility (ALF) side. I started bringing Mom here a couple times per week, since end of July 2024, for the Adult Day Program and so glad I did. It is a great place where she can do fun things and socialize. They post photos and video on Facebook of all the fun things they do. Caregivers get support here that they may be lacking in their home, especially some much needed self-care time and peace of mind that their loved one is being cared for. Mom has made friends here and the staff and other caregivers, like me, have become like family. I wouldn’t know what I would do without them. They are very caring and take the time to explain everything if needed. If Mom ever needs more assistance in the future, it is a great place to consider for her to call home. Benton House also provides resources to caregivers free of charge, including home health care referrals, a Caregiver Class including materials, a monthly Caregiver Support Group, and helpful tools on their website. I recommend you take a tour of the place, you will see it does not feel like an institution but more like a clubhouse. Thank you Benton House of Clermont for all you do!

Let me start off that there is no perfect place. Elder care requires family to be involved when they are choosing a facility. The quality of care does not end at when you bring them into the home, as the family of that person must stay involved with the Assisted Living Facility for great success. At Benton House they have been a great partner. Open / Clear / and Concise of their service and commitment for my Mother in Law. The staff is a big part of that success as without loyal and dedicated staff, the facility is just 4 walls. Every time we need the Benton team they are there, they extend the best options they can whenever possible. We are excited to work with Pamela, Ashley, Sonia Bertha and the rest of the great staff there. They are one--of-a-kind in the Assisted Living options in the area and define their service with family values. When you PARTNER with them - your experience is a great one. So a tip for anyone thinking about this for their elderly loved one/family. When you partner, stay involved with an open mind and heart with the Benton team, for sure you will have a great experience with them and most important create a great environment of love and care for the elderly person you have in their facility.

The Benton House has been a life saver for our family! Pamela, Ashley & all the staff are our angels. They turned a hard situation into a pleasant experience for our mom and helped her through the entire transition period going above and beyond. The staff and other residents welcomed her and have gotten her to participate in more activities than we ever thought she would as well as helping her to get back a track with eating through their extensive menu options. We have no doubt she is getting great care at The Benton House and highly recommend them.

Wonderful place, outstanding care and facility. So thankful to have found for my parents. My Dad has Alzheimer’s so they are in Memory care side, but they are together and my Mom is also cared for really well. They are happy and safe, which was not the case before moving in there a year ago.

I started with the daycare service and moved mom into the memory care unit as her illness progressed. It was an easy transition and they made her feel part of the family. I have researched around and cost wise this is a moderate option - still higher than I can afford longer term, but I do believe worth it in the meantime. Lovely caring staff and always clean.

Ashley and Paige were wonderful helping us coordinate my father and his wife's admission and transfer to Benton House. Sometimes have to be a squeaky wheel for things like updating the monthly medical assessment with the correct information, and getting laundry and apartment cleaning done, ( typical at any ALF), but overall a very good experience!

Very nice place really helpful Staff, caring and a very loving team. All the residents are very well taken care of . All the staff work hard and very professional!! Definitely worth a place to have mom or dad live. If you want love , care, activities, and professionalism , than this is the place to be. You will not find another house lace like it. They even have concert pianist there to perform on the piano at any moment ,not to mention the food is magnificent.

My mom has been in this facility since it opened around 5 years ago. The staff has shown incredible warmth & care for her this whole time, especially through this COVID experience! She has been protected physically & all her needs have been meet! Staff has gone out of their way to FaceTime on their phones daily-a go between mom & myself! During this quarantine, This has made all the difference for feeling connected! Have gotten frequent updates from director on their following CDC regulations & they have followed them consistently!

Benton House of Clermont has been a tremendous source of comfort since my Mom moved into their facility last November. Their care & concern for her has been fantastic. They tend to my Mother’s needs and provide excellent food & nursing care. They provide a wealth of entertainment & social activities, though it has been adjusted since March. Since the lockdown took place in March they have provided excellent communication and have been over-the-top in assisting with my daily visits with Mom from outside her back window. Because of COVID-19, all AL facilities are on lockdown including Benton House. I am proud to say that they have had ZERO COVID-19 cases here. They maintain constant vigilance, making sure procedures follow State and CDC guidelines. My sister has been a founding resident of Benton House since it opened in Clermont. I thank God she is there during this terrible pandemic. The staff is incredible - they show such honest and true love for their residents, they are highly professional, very caring and supportive. They are all Heroes - sacraficing a lot to care for the residents here. I chose Benton House because it is small - not a large beaucratic institution with constant staff turnovers and management that is not responsive to resident needs. I have had enough of those places. The level of care is very different here than in large facilities. The people who care for my sister have become like family to me. They know what she likes and dislikes. More importantly, my sister somehow knows them. She is always smiling. I can tell that she is happy there. The facility itself is super nice, very clean, and pleasant. Even the chef is great. My sister is a fussy eater but they seems to find foods that she will eat! At Benton House, they do NOT go by their titles - whatever needs to be done, they do it regardless of title. Even during this pandemic, they find the time to send me texts and pictures of my sister. It has been since March since I've seen her but I know she is in good hands. That means a lot to me! Thank you Benton House for all that you do!

The location has good ambiance. Lot of space for parking the cars.Staff are responsive and amazing.The rooms are neat and clean.It doesn't look like a elders, to me it looks like a hotel.Lunch and Dinner menus are being served with varieties of soups, meat, rice, juices and ice creams.The moment you enter the dinning hall you will see smile on all the faces and they will smile at you even if they don't know you.Games are being played during the leisure time.Events are being conducted one such i attended was the old cars show.It was marvelous to watch those lovely cars.I was there for 3 weeks in Florida almost everyday i visited this place as my aunt was staying there all those days the greetings & service of the staffs and food quality were constant and stupendous. My date of visit from 08.07.2017 to 26.07.2017

Benton House of Clermont has been a God send. There are a lot of good people caring for the residents. I'm there most every day for a short visit and they are dealing with issues every hour. People are different and that makes us difficult, yet the staff and management work hard to keep the quality of care at the highest level. I have had my parents there since March of 2018 until my mother passed in early 2019. My dad is still there and he is cared for with affection. There are no perfect places for assisted living, but I haven't seen another better and I have visited more than my share. My hat's off and my prayers continue for those who have chosen the profession of caregiver. I highly recommend them and this place.

Out Family has been extremely happy with the facility and the staff at Benton house. It is very clean and the staff are amazing. We were unsure of how my Mother would do in the Memory care, but it has went incredibly well due to the staff and team there. They have really been amazing and we can’t thank them enough. Highly recommend this location!
