First of all, what a great facility!!! My dear friend is a resident there.. I would like to say as I navigate the facility I am in awe of how great the staff is!!!, It shows in every single minute you are walking around... Francine who is the director of nursing is tops!!! , always a smile and very sincere always..!! Next is Doris, I am not sure exactly what she does besides decorating but she does a wonderful job and I am sure she has other obligations beside that!!, Ronda, who I have crossed pathes with a few times I believe is head of everyone!!, she knows her job very well because everything is run on a dime!!.. last but not least I have run into Melissa whom is a nurse on the premises and Again nothing but sincere caring and always has a smile like everyone else... and again I have run into an aide that has a few patients there and always sincere, genuine and a smile that lights up all around here... If my time comes I only wish my new residence will be at the preserve in clearwater!!

I normally don't leave reviews,but I feel this needs to be acknowledge. My grandma has been living at the preserve for 3 years, and after my wonderful experience Monday night I thought this review is well deserved. First off I would like to say what a great administration office you have! Rhonda Coates is a fantastic leader, and always follows through, she goes above and beyond for the residents and staff.I always see her just simply walking around taking the time to listen to residents comments or concerns, and follows thru.I speak to alot of families as I feel like I am part of the preserve family.Francine and Doris are absolutely the back bone to this facility and honestly I dont know how they do it day after day! Always there with a smile ,they really care about the staff and residents!! I'm super glad we found this facility and would definitely recommend this great place to anybody looking for a well runned facility for their loved ones. I Have a mother who lives at the Preserve at Clearwater, it`s a really nice place, I`ve been there, they have lots of activities there, l learned that they have, and that they have busses to take you where you want to go, and they have a swimming pool too. I highly recommend this place for your loved one. they have a nice place to sit outside too. There`s only one thing that they should do, and it`s have the bicycle racks put on the left side of the entrance right where you enter. by where the one window is, so the employees there can see the bicycles, and it will make the bicyclist feel safer to lock their bicycle when they visit their loved ones, have the bicycle rack move from the parking lot in the south part to the left of the entrance where no one sits, at the left of the entrance.

When we were researching places for Mom and Dad the preserve stood out above the others hands down. It is such a loving and caring atmosphere where all residents are treated like family. All the staff love their residents and its not an act. There is a genuine loving culture there. All the management in business, care managers, activities, marketing, and director are hands on there every day. Each day is packed with activities to help residents pass the time. Each time my sister and I are there for a visit from out of state everyone is very hospitable. We are so happy and blessed we chose the preserve.

Michelle at The Preserve at Clearwater is awesome! I met her when looking for a place for my parents. Toured the facility and really loved the place. I've looked at alot of places, and I can say, without any reservation, that The Preserve is absolute top notch. Michelle is very easy to talk to and work with, and is extremely knowledgeable. We got the paperwork completed, and she set up my father for an evaluation to determine if he would be a good fit for The Preserve. Unfortunately, my father was not a good fit for the facility, as he requires nursing home level care. I figured that would be the end of my dealings with Michelle. But Michelle stayed in touch, providing me with recommendations for other places, connecting me with movers, referring me to home health care providers, you name it. She had no reason to continue helping me and my family because my parents were not going to be able to move in to The Preserve. But she did continue to help us. The thing is, she really cares and her heart is so in to helping people that she goes way above and beyond. I cannot say enough kind words for Michelle and The Preserve.

The Preserve is a wonderful facility. My Dad and handicapped brother lived there for only about a year and a half before they both passed but we could not have found a better facility for them both. I have a mom who lives at the Preserve lo visited her there, and she seems happy there, she was at the Wickshire that`s off of Mc Mullan booth road by the hospital and none of us liked that place, My mom was not happy there, she felt like she was being treated like a prisoner there, l don`t recommend the wickshire place, they don`t have any activities there, l only recommend the Preserve in Clearwater, and for your loved ones too.

My mother moved to the Preserve from Mississippi and Tricia and the staff made her move here so seamless. My mom has been enjoying many of the activities they have to offer. As a care manager who has her ear to the ground in many facilities throughout the Tampa Bay area, I have to say that Rhonda Coates is one of the few people in the industry that truly walks her talk. I have known Rhonda for many years now at several facilities, and I have see her advocate for each and every one of her residents, her staff, and is consistent in her delivery of services. Many people can (and do) tell you what they think you want to hear with regards to a loved one in a community. Rhonda is a straight-shooter, and can always be counted on to tell you the truth. Truths that are hard to hear (like behavioral things!) are still delivered and discussed in a compassionate way, and she is willing to try everything in the box and everything out side of the box to help her residents be successful.

The Preserve cared for my mom in Inspirations Memory Care as one of about 28 residents in that secure wing of the ALF facility. She enjoyed the loving care of her aides and of the Executive Director, Rhonda, and the Marketing Director, Chasidy, and the Inspirations Manager and the Nursing Director and staff. She was never forgotten by the Administration--they are hands-on in the unit, jumping in to observe and provide help at every turn. Mom loved color, so they made sure she was dressed in coordinated clothes, complete with accessories like beads and bracelets and the occasional hat --it gave Mom joy daily. And Mom enjoyed the screened porch and strolling garden most of all. I cant say enough about the love and personal care exhibited at this facility.

My best friend Linda is at the Preserve and loves being there. Rhonda and Chasidy made it a grat deal easier to transition Linda to inspirations by writting a letter to Linda about her move. It is very sad to see the changes in my friend Linda. The staff makes it easier for me when they talk to me about the sadness when your best friend is going through Alzheimers. The staff at The Preserve at Clearwater have such a positive approach to dementia care. They approach resident care with a can-do attitude, not one of defeat such as experienced elsewhere. The facility is clean, which has been such a comfort during the 2020 pandemic, still Covid-free and opening back up to family visits ahead of many other facilities that must wait. I am so fortunate to have found just the right place 2-1, 2 years ago for mom to flourish. Mom is always alert and smiling, showing those dimples, and is clearly liked by by her caregivers. Rhonda and Chasidy are to be commended for setting the bar for exceptionalism in this facility, and for leading by example.

Unfortunately, I was not able to place my Father at The Preserve At Clearwater, but I thought I would share my experience about the kind of people that represent the place. I received a prompt call back from their representative Chassidy to discuss placing my Father. My Father suffers from dementia, but there was no available spot for memory care for him at the time I spoke with Chassidy. I told Chassidy how confusing and frustating the whole peocess had been and she spent the next 30 minutes on the phone with me guiding me through so many answers that the avaerage person would not know (confusing stuff). My point is, we had initially determined that my Father could not be a resident at The Preserve, but Chassidy took the time to help me with the ongoing process anyway. Thats just good people ! Thank you for your kindness Chassidy.

Although Dad was only at The Preserve at Clearwater for a short time, only 10 months before he went into the arms of Jesus, we found the facility to be a wonderful final earthly home for him. We were pleased that the staff consistently & lovingly encouraged residences to participate in the many scheduled activities, many of which were designed to help keep minds sharp & bodies fit. Other activities were available allowing the residents opportunities to go off site, be it to shop at one of the local stores or go off grounds for a meal at one of the local eateries for a change of pace. To sum up, we were very please with our choice to have Dad finish the race at such a fine institution before going to his final Heavenly Home.
