Our friend moved here and loves it. Has a great 1 bedroom which overlooks the bay. Staff friendly, he way having lunch, which didn't look the greatest. Place is clean and he seems to like it.

A beautifully landscaped property with walking paths nestled against Tampa's inner bay. The 5 acre property is comprised of various housing types suited to the individual needs of seniors including independent living with licensed medical care including rehabilitation, memory care, skilled nursing and assistance with daily living. Numerous group activities are offered each day that foster education, healthy living and social gatherings promoting lasting friendships. The Oaks on the Bay delivers a true "aging in place" community.

Today I got in shock by knowing that this facility is not going to evacuate when is located on the water in zone A , instead they are threatening employees to loose their job if they don't stay in the facility from Wednesday, Thursday and so on . I can not believed. I am in fear of my brother that works for this facility and the safety of everyone. I will contact the news and every social media I can possible find right now.

Ive been working at the oaks for only a short period of time but i have to say it has to be the best company ive worked for to date. coming from a background in hospitality it was a bit of a culture shock for me at first but i completely fell in love with the staff and residents and being able to come into work every day and witness the level of compassion the staff has for our residents. this facility literally does it all and I could not be more proud to be a member of this truly incredible team!

I am writing but I know only 5 stars reviews are being posted here, dishonest management, dirty building, rats, roaches, poor care, not enough caregivers. Medications missing, not administered on time, residents are dirty, rashes. assisted living is only good for people who can take care of themselves, because if you cannot take care of yourself, you hardly get assistance and if you do mostly with attitude, rudeness, aides and med techs constantly on the phones , texting, facetiming...a lot to say, but you will not post it

Love working for the company because of the resident and staff plenty of opportunities to move up in the company but the pay unacceptable min wage at its finest in all departments when it comes to a raise you will have to fight for it

Beautiful facility, nice staff, and great management. The view is beautifully breathtaking. When passing through the resident common areas the residents are always happy. The activities department seems to always have some type of festivities happening for the residents. Even with COVID the residents seem to be happy and well cared for.

The Oaks of Clearwater is a wonderful place to live and work. My grandparents lived there for many years and loved every minute of it. I remember we had a Easter Dinner in there Auditorium we had the dinning services department catered the party for 80 guests for there local church friends, family and out of town guests. Chef Joe Burke and his team served a spectacular feast that was enjoyed buy all. Grandpa and Grandma were so proud to be a part of the Oaks, And so am I.

Heres the whole story... My grand-father, Pop, has lived at The Oaks for a little over a year now. He moved in about a year and a half after my granny passed because he was very lonely and his health was starting to suffer because he was so inactive. It took a ton of convincing for him to finally agree to go and we had looked at maybe 10 places along with The Oaks to find something we thought was a good fit for him. They never pushed us, or tried the sketchy sales gimmicks the other communities were pushing which made us feel like there was something more to their community than numbers. Weve learned this to be very true... It was rough at first, he wasnt enjoying it as much as we hoped - he would complain to us about the food, or the activities, or the maintenance. So we decided to be more involved and met with The Oaks team who explained that its very normal to hear that because hes going through a difficult time during the transition period. We saw first hand the things he was complaining about, and to us and to anyone really, there really were no problems. We ate with him all the time, never had a bad meal..nothing was broken in the apartment...activities were fun..and so on After a couple weeks, he really settled in and started to turn around. The activities team got him involved and helped him make friends and it changed everything for the better. Now hes a walking advertisement for the place and we never hear about the issues he was having when we started. Its sad to see some of the poor reviews because Im sure those experiences are real but they are rooted in a different place, which matters. If your family member is here I would encourage you to dig deeper into the complaints because we learned that Pop just wanted to talk to us and was lonely, once we fixed that the food suddenly tasted better -- funny right? I just left after having breakfast with Pop and saw some of these reviews and wanted to give my little story - We love The Oaks and would definitely recommend to Friends. There are a lot of happy residents and families there, weve also seen some that never seem to be satisfied but we know the whole story and hope they find the happiness we have soon! PS - 4 stars because I think the dining room lately can use a little more management presence. The service has slowed down, and we hope it gets back to where the standard was before! (Ill update when that happens because we know it will!) EDIT** OK! As promised, Im back! Donna has been hired as the Restaurant Manager and she is incredible!! Service is snappy again, staff are happy, and I am giving that 5th star!! Thank you Oaks!

My Mom Loves it here! She's been there for 3 years now and her life has been so much more exciting than when she was at home alone. She goes to all their parties, which is usually at least twice a week and non-stop exercise & art classes! It's truly the best!

My father lived at Marian Manor for four years. I always found the staff friendly and caring. It is a beautiful place to live and there are plenty of inside activities planned for the residents along with outside activities. There is also a beautiful chapel where mass is held and where residents can go to pray. Non-denominational services are also held. If you ever have a question or concern there is always someone available to answer your questions. I feel blessed that my father lived there.

The Oaks of Clearwater is more than just a retirement and assisted living community. Its a place where you can enjoy your independence, join an active senior living community, or create your ideal lifestyle, all at the best value available in waterfront living. This is what it says, but Catholics are not allowed to have a Priest visit residents for Holy Communion due to the personal beliefs of a higher ranking executive in The Oaks administration. This is wrong. If the goal is to create your ideal lifestyle I would say that not allowing religious freedom is very hypocritical.

In 2013, my mom made the decision to give up her home and move to an assisted living facility. She was 87 years old. When I asked her where she wanted to visit to check out facilities, the only place she wanted to go was Marian Manor. She had a friend who had lived there, so my mom was somewhat familiar with the place. We took the tour, had a delicious lunch and saw how happy and friendly the residents were. The staff was very welcoming, and mom felt right at home. The decision was an easy one. There are so many wonderful activities going on, and the residents are well taken care of physically, emotionally and spiritually. You don't have to be Catholic, but if you are, they have Mass twice each week,a weekly rosary, and an evening prayer service. The front porch is a beautiful place to sit and read, enjoy nature and visit with friends. Last year my mom had a few health issues, but I knew she would be well taken care of, and that they would contact me immediately if needed. I can't say enough about the caring staff, from the administrators, dining staff, nurses, housekeepers, maintenance staff and even the grounds keeper who keeps the grounds looking beautiful year round. The facility is well taken care of and always clean. If you are looking for an outstanding home for a relative, look no further than Marian Manor. You won't be disappointed.

My Mom and I had a great time when I visited with her last week! There was a Costume Contest for Halloween, with entertainment!, we took the bus to Wal-Mart for a shopping spree one afternoon, got her a haircut at the Salon ( Shear Wonders..on the premises) and sat outside ( the weather was wonderful) after dinners and talked with her many friends. Everyone, staff and residents were very friendly and helpful. And when it was discovered that shed missplaced her life alert botton , we were able to get a replacement very quickly. My Mom loves where shes living, and that makes me happy too! Thanks to all at The Oaks for taking such good care of Madeline.
