We have a good feeling about this place.
October 2023
I visited my daughter, who has had a brain injury a couple Sundays ago. She's content, likes her room and room mate, the staff. She was clean and dressed in clean clothes. When, I left her after our visit she didn't cry to be taken home. Something she did in the past Rehabilitation Center.

Hell Hole!! Take your loved one out of there! For certain, if you bring clothing or other items, they will disappear and never be found! Bathroom in residents room is so disgusting! I came to visit my son and more then once there was feces on floor, wall, and all over toilet! His bedding had never been changed; he had never been bathed; his clothing was from someone two time larger then him and all his personal clothes were missing except for socks and under ware! (go visit the laundry area!!) New administrative person is trying but the facility is so disorganized that I'm not certain if anyone can get a hold of managing the facility! The medical room is TOTAL CHAOS!!! The assigned weekly NP cares very little!! Time for her to retire! As POA, I asked for a list of my sons medication and when I was home reviewing the medication form I immediately realized they had given me a copy of another residents meds! HIPAA????!!! Returned the form the next day!! My son has since been relocated! Now I need to address the draft they took from his account for the month he will not be living there!

Totally recommend The Woodlands! The community has changed significantly since the current administrator. The staff are amazing they love and care for the residents as if they were their own family. You see happy residents, and outstanding CNAs. The new activity coordinator is a blast! Not to mention the beautiful renovations coming along, totally an incredible change can't wait to see the final results!

NOT ENOUGH STAFF ON DUTY ON WEEKENDS, SOME ATTENDANTS DON'T SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH, DRIVEWAY IS FULL OF POT HOLES, NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE OR PHONE MESSAGES LEFT ON THIER RECORDER SO RELATIVES FARTHER AWAY CAN FIND OUT HOW THEIR LOVE ONE IS DOING, WHEN VISITING ON WEEKENDS NO SIGNS OF ANY SUPERVISION OR SUPERVISORS ON DUTY, HAVE TO CHASE DOWN ATTENDANTS TO OPEN CODED DOOR TO GET OUT OF THE PLACE AS WELL AS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER THE FRONT DOOR JUST TO GET IN THE PLACE. THE HOME DOES NOT OFFER A SECURE PHONE FOR PATIENTS TO CALL OUT. THE "ONLY" NICE THINGS ABOUT WOODSLAND IS THE KITCHEN STAFF ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND SERVE NUTRIOUS MEALS. THE LAST YEAR OR SO THE MANAGEMENT HAS CHANGED (3) TIMES AND SOME GOOD EMPLOYEES HAVE LEFT FOR NUMEROUS REASONS. THE REVIEWS UP ABOVE MUST HAVE BEEN MADE YEARS AGO AS THOSE REVIEWS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE BUT BY THE STAFF. WE HAVE A STANDING ORDER TO HAVE OUR MOTHER MOVED OUT OF THERE AS SHE AND 3 OTHER RESIDENTS AT THE TIP OF HER WING NOW HAVE "COVID" AND QUARANTINE ALOWING NO VISITATIONS, PLUS NO ONE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE OR RECORDINGS SO WE CAN AT LEAST TALK TO HER.............................BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!
