My brother n law is a new resident of Brookdale. My wife came home from her walk through with him and was very impressed with the friendliness and the cleanliness of the assisted living. I helped move him in and had the pleasure of meeting Nancy and Jessica. They are GEMS for the residents. Very nice facility and I highly recommend it.

Nancy and Sandra are wonderful representatives of this fine assisted living facility. We were given a tour for a friend and found Brookdale Bradenton Gardens to be clean, well attended and cared for. The amenities are more than adequate and the residents seemed happy and content. I highly recommend this fine establishment!

I had the opportunity to visit and tour Brookdale Bradenton Gardens and was impressed with the overall community. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and well maintained, with inviting d©cor and comfortable common areas that truly make it feel like home. What stood out most was the friendly and professional staff. From the Sales Director and Executive Director to the rest of the team, everyone was approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on the well-being of their residents. It was clear that they take pride in creating a positive experience for both residents and families. I was pleased to see that Brookdale Bradenton Gardens offers options that can be budget-conscious for families while still providing a comfortable and supportive environment. The community has a relaxed, caring feel, and the team was easy to talk with and willing to answer any questions. I would recommend taking a look at Brookdale Bradenton Gardens if you are exploring senior living options for yourself or a loved one. It was a pleasant visit, and the dedication of the team was evident throughout the community.

Placing my mom in a facility was a difficult decision but she needed more care due to her Dementia. Nancy assisted us with the process and her caring and professional manner made us realize that everyone had my mom’s best interest . Sandra is always on top of mom’s care plan nurse Lori and Nadeesh are very responsive to her care. Even the head of the Kitchen Tesha is invested in making sure mom eats by providing mom’s favorite meals. Mom has become attached to her care takers Celine Gerta ,Naomi ,Jeremy, Lena ,Rita and Marie Thank You all for treating mom as if she was your mom.

I toured Brookdale with my brother yesterday. I can not say enough great comments about our treatment here. Jessica gave us the tour, Sandra gave him assessment, and Nancy talked to us about the financial situation. They all 3 are outstanding in friendliness, knowledge and people practices. This was our first stop and will be our last. It was a very clean older style building but perfect for my brother as I live in Ohio and I can feel at ease knowing his has great care in Florida. Entering an unexpected new phase of life with a loved one is never easy, and having the right support becomes more important than ever. Although I’ve worked in healthcare administration for many years, long‘term care (specifically memory care) was outside my scope of experience. As I navigated this journey for my father, I quickly learned how overwhelming and at times discouraging it can be. Unfortunately there are people who try to take advantage of families who simply don’t know what to expect, and that added so much stress during an already emotional time. All I wanted was to ensure my dad received the best care and felt truly comfortable. When I met Nancy Lea Trask at Brookdale. From the moment we connected, she was warm, genuine, and understanding. She recognized the challenges my brother and I were facing and guided us with compassion, clarity, and patience. During our tour, we immediately felt the family‘like atmosphere and could see that this was a place where my father would be safe, supported, and treated with dignity. Knowing he will be close to his children and in an environment that prioritizes his well‘being brings us tremendous peace of mind. Healthcare may be a business, but at Brookdale Bradenton Gardens, it’s clear that people come first. Thank you, Nancy. Moved my family member to Brookdale on a Saturday. The facility was waiting for us. When movers completed the move, my family and myself were invited to lunch by kitchen staff person and then when arrived at dinning room with nursing staff and was introduced to the residents. After greating all, we sat with a resident and enjoyed our meal and was served with professional but family like staff that put us at ease. After lunch spoke with staff often with a ton of questions and they answered all questions with a genuine response. Then it was dinner time and we were late but greeted again like family. Great food, great family staff and residents. A place for Mom assisted me this great find and was instrumental in my selection for my family. But truly Brookdale was way more personal than any other places, and I toured 10 local places. Thank you Brookdale gardens for being there for us during a sensitive time for my family and myself.

Memory care is not good. Smoke and mirrors. It's like they staged themselves for tours. Look at the couch. That's where they live all day or in their rooms. Hygiene is a minus. Assistant personal care is a minus. Pay attention to what you see, all the other stuff is fluff.

It was a heartbreaking decision to find a locked memory care home for my mother, but Nancy at Brookdale made it as painless as possible. She was compassionate and caring. Bradenton Gardens may not be the most stylish home, but it was the most loving. Cari, Mindy,Georgina, Willie, Lou always greeted us with warm hugs. The memory care givers were so professional ,sweet and truly treated my mother like their own. She was always clean and appropriately dressed. The medical team with Breeanne , Lori,Gloria ,Ursi, and Joe were wonderful. Please forgive me if I’ve missed a name!I am truly grateful that the last months of my mothers life were joy filled. They knew she liked music and made sure it was playing in her room. She got to listen to live music and go on field trips to see Christmas lights. They were compassionate to my father when he visited. I will always appreciate the love and care Brookdale gave my mother and our family.

EVERY person, from the front desk, administration, nursing, kitchen, and housekeeping gave only loving care. After looking at all the ALF's in Bradenton, my choice was Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. My initial contact, Nancy, was amazingly warm and wonderful, helpful and caring. The admission of my sister, Virginia, went smoothly with Nancy right there by our sides every step of the way. A stroke survivor, Virginia is now improving and thriving under the excellent care of the Brookdale staff. The Clinical Director, Tijuana, and her entire staff ((Cari, Kasey, Gloria, Lori, all the Med Techs, and Caregivers) are amazing, caring, warm through, and a true sense of family permeates the entire facility. Every aspect of working with all the staff has been wonderful. Mindy Clark, Business Office Manager, Dave Yacino, Maintenance Director, and even the two receptionists, Willie and Lucinda are extremely helpful, loving and warm, and all the staff go out of their ways to accommodate my concerns and requests. Search no longer...this is the place for your loved one. Rosemarie P.S. Just want to speak to a previous negative review posted by Laurie, who went to see her loved one on Christmas, and could not get into the facility. I went to visit my sister on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas Day, and did not have a problem getting in. Yes, the automatic front doors had broken and it being the holiday weekend, there was no getting them fixed. In fact, on Christmas Eve the Maintenance Director, Dave Yacino, was at the facility making sure the doors, though broken, were secure, and that all the residents were safe. I had no problem entering the facility on both days by following the directions on the sign posted on the front door. Perhaps Laurie went to the incorrect back door as there are several. Sorry Laurie that you did not get to visit your loved one on Christmas, but Brookdale did the best they could under the circumstances.

Please don’t leave your loved ones in memory care! Most of the staff clearly have no empathy for these poor seniors suffering from memory loss. The staff speak foreign languages to each other all day and my partner think's I had moved him to a foreign country. This is just a short list of the concerns I have, and can’t seem to get any of the office staff to return my calls, to discuss how to make this tolerable.

Positives: People working day to day with the residents are kind and caring. Food is good. You get good value for the money spent. You can trust these people with your loved ones. . Negatives: High turnover of upper level staff. Frequently at minimum level of floor staff. Their own records are computerized, but they do not keep organized, easy to find records of medical information by visiting professionals. Communication between all three parties, Brookdale, you, and with visiting medical professionals is inconsistent unless you drive the process. Pet Peeve: Clothes, sheets, and towels frequently get mixed up between rooms, even when the clothes are marked. Overall, it is a good place and my family members are safe and happy. Not everything goes smoothly and the fluctuation of staff makes it difficult for them to maintain consistency. Generally the higher level staff are responsive, however it can get frustrating when they aren’t. Brookdale- your information is incorrect. The director did receive my email with details of my concerns but neglected to read it and filed it instead of responding. The previous director had no issues reaching me, listened and responded with appropriate changes. Unfortunately, with every change in executive director, there is inevitably a phase where attention to details loosens until the new director gets a handle on things.

I am a current resident. I have lived at the Gardens for 2.5 years. My wife and I lived together until last November when she passed away. I received the full support of Management and my extended family of residents during this difficult time. The chef is excellent in preparing tasty meals. Activities are many. Management is constantly working to improve life at the Gardens. I highly endorse and recommend this assisted living facility to anyone.

My name is Ruth Burway. My brother Robert Underwood has been a resident there since April. Since he arrived, he's been treated like family by the entire staff. Anything he has ever needed they have provided. Also, he has made many friends among the residents. He enjoys participating in the activities, such as, Happy Hour and the field trips. He especially enjoys "Rootbeer Float Day"!. My husband and I are there frequently and couldn't be treated better by any of the staff. We also enjoy having lunch with him and always liked what's on the menu. The recent changes and improvements throughout the building have made it almost seem like "a new place". We are so glad that we have become a part of the Brookdale Bradenton Gardens community and my brother is happier than he has ever been!

Within the last month I have researched, toured and finally placed my 83 year young aunt into Brookdale Bradenton Gardens Assisted Living facility. I cannot express my delight and appreciation for the consistent helpfulness and professionalism of everyone there. They took a difficult process, broke it into easier pieces and worked with us to ensure my aunt is in very caring hands! This facility in the process of a total renovation, with that being said, the finished rooms are spacious and clean with a large tiled bathroom. I continue to be delighted with the staff as I ask for various needs...they really go the extra mile to make sure they are addressed!
