I am a third party vendor who comes into the facility For the business I am employed by. I would highly recommend This facility for several reasons. Staff truly cares about each resident. I have seen this over and over again. Too many times to count. Today when I was in the facility working, I met a new resident. She told me she just moved in, and thought she was coming there to relax after selling her house. Instead she found. herself making new friends and always having activities and fun. I said you are never lonely here! She agreed ,she is never lonely and loves living here. I always feel good energy when I walk into this building. I recently visited Barrington Terrace while touring the building as I was looking for a community for an elderly family member. We took a tour of the building because my family is wanting to decide if we will stay in Florida or move out of state. During the visit I was able to experience the great hospitality from the staff, in particular Leah DeCicco who organized an amazing visit where were able to see the building and learn about all the amenities offered. I would recommend this place to anyone looking!

First a friend who knows all the ALFs in south Florida put Barrington at the top of our list. Then the marketing director told us to expect a warm, caring community of staff, residents, and families. At that first visit, Mom said, "This place is alive." And now that she's settled in for two months, all these expectations have been confirmed. So many staff and residents smile and say hello; and more, so many will stop and take the time to get to know you and get to be known. Mom says she wishes she'd moved in here years ago. Of course, if you prefer to keep to yourself, there's room for that, too. Management sees to it that Barrington's culture is one of professionalism and kindness. When someone steps out of line in that regard - and of course everyone can falter once in a while - management is responsive and swift with appropriate remedy. In the face of many challenges that are ubiquitous in ALFs, Barrington management, staff and residents have it figured out very well. And if your needs exceed what nursing staff and aides can offer based on budget constraints, private aides are available to step in. Food's good, too. Mom and the rest of our family are impressed and grateful.

I have gone to Barrington Terrace several times and I must say that were my mother not a smoker(they are a completely smoke free environment. No cigarettes and no vapes) she would absolutely be in residence there. The food is wonderful. The staff is engaged and helpful. Lena and John were helpful and pleasantly qualified. They ask intelligent questions and have intuitive responses. The head nurse was eager to get to know my Mom and put her at ease. The whole place wanted to know the full picture of who my mom is as a person. If you have doubts and worries about this whole process make this your first stop. It will likely be your only stop.

We recently moved our mom into assisted living at Barrington Terrance. This was an extremely stressful situation, as it can be for many families. The staff at Barrington did everything possible to make the move and transition go smoothly. The warmth and friendliness of everyone we encountered confirmed our feeling that we made the right decision in choosing this place. There is a genuine feeling of community here and an obvious commitment by staff to ensure the residents enjoy the best quality of life possible. It was necessary to find an assisted living facility for my sister and I found Barrington Terrace. I first met Leah DeCicco and she walked me through the process. Leah was very compassionate but more importantly, she answered every question I had. I called and texted her several times and always received a very expeditious response. Leah provided me with all of the details that I needed to finalize my plans. The staff members have responded to all of my sister's needs. The front desk personnel are friendly and caring. The nursing staff attends to her and she really enjoys the recreational activities that are provided. The chef came out to meet her during her first dinner. Finding an assisted living community for a parent to relocate into is definitely one of life's most difficult and challenging situations. We've all heard, read and seen the stories on the news about the lack of care and abuse that can happen. I moved my mom into Barrington Terrace1 1/2 years ago. She had her 94th and 95th birthdays there. Best decision ever. She was so happy there. (she actually gained some weight, haha). The staff is so kind, caring and loving that I never once questioned my decision or felt unsure for my moms safety. The community is very well maintained, the food is great and there are plenty of daily activities for the residents to stay active if they so desire. All I can say is if they are still around when it's my time I know where I'm going.

Our family just recently set up our mother at Barrington Terrace with lots of anxiety and worry. That was not the case once we entered the building. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, the building itself is very appealing, clean and organized. The staff knew everything and how to handle a newcomer. Leah was great in assisting us, Pat amazing and helpful and knows just how to handle a resident being new and feeling lost !!! Will head of maintenance (always with a smile) got everything done in her room to make it feel like home.. artwork TV brackets etc.. He was terrific. My cousin lives at this community and I am so happy with her living there. They treat her like family and it is so well maintained. The grounds are kept in a very beautiful and pristine manner. The food she tells me is excellent and I did have dinner with her there one time and it was very very good. She has dementia and they are very kind as far as treating her with dignity and respect. And she feels safe and very happy there and that makes me very happy and knowing that she is being well taken care of and treated in such a manner that I know I need not worry about her at all makes me feel very secure as well. It's a very home like setting and they celebrate all holidays equally which is very important to allow everyone to feel included. I highly recommend this community as a place for not just people with memory issues but anyone who is looking for a very home like retirement community.

Barrington Terrace has been amazing. The level of care, compassion, concern, and assistance they have provided my mother has been amazing. My mother was at a different AL facility previously and was miserable. She didn't eat because she hated the food, she never came out of her room because there was nothing to do and was afraid of the staff. Since her move to Barrington she loves to eat, she is never in her room because there is so much going on socially and loves all the staff. I toured every facility in the area and did not find a facility were felt the staff genuinely wanted to help the residents and improve their quality of life, until I toured Barrington Terrace. I can now rest easily with the piece of mind that my mother is in amazing hands!

In February 2021, my cousin moved into Barrington Terrace. My other family members and I could not be more pleased with the facility. It is a warm and caring environment all around and many staff members are exemplary. Leah, in sales, was extremely helpful with the process of moving our cousin into Barrington. From Pat and Linda on the Front desk, greeting everyone warmly as they enter, to the kitchen staff, housekeeping, and maintenance. Debra and Ana plan many fun and stimulating activities. It really puts our minds at ease knowing my cousin is receiving her medications from your caring and knowledgeable nursing staff. Overall, our relative, has improved dramatically in just a few short months. She was living alone, very isolated, and not doing very well. She is now experiencing some of the activities attending bingo, musical guest, and just engaging with other residents. My family members and I would highly recommend Barrington!

Barrington is by far the best rehab facility in Florida. The Executive Director,Bob Grossman is hands on to makes sure everything runs smoothly . Paulette is the head of nursing and over sees her staff to perfection. Nathalia is in charge of physical therapy and again makes it run great. Shirley is the go to person for anything you need. I spent a month there and came back a new person. The entire staff helps to make Barrington one of a kind.

The Therapy department did a great job, and Mom went home after 16 nights, when we initially thought it would be 20. The food is very good quality. I want to Thank Barrington Terrace in Boynton Beach FL for accepting my brother, Jerry Price as a patient that needed a lot of care all day and night long. Jerry is a paraplegic that was so poorly cared for in 2 other facilities that made his condition worse before I found Barrington. The help at Barrington never complained about their job, they would come into my brother's room always with a smile, they were careful to always wash their hands and/or wear clean gloves (unlike the 2 previous). Jerry was so well taken care of by Barrington Terr, what a difference from the previous 2 facilities and their terrible care. I wish we were able to choose previously where Jerry went and we knew about Barrington Terr prior to the first two. Jerry was practically starved to death at the 1st facility and was never looked after properly, receiving such terrible care he almost died. The 2nd facility's care was the reason my brother contracted C.Diff. Jerry came close to death at this facility and no one there or at our health care system seemed to care. He went into be treated for a stage 1.5 bed sore and came out with a stage 4 bed sore with gangrene infection. After doing research from a long list of nursing facilities in Boynton Beach area/Palm Beach County area, I found great ratings for Barrington Terrace. This was the only one out of over 60 nursing assistance facilities with above average ratings. What a shame when Florida is where the elderly trying to get out of cold winters and retire in Florida only to have such horrible care in their later years. Little do they know before it's too late, that the elderly care is so terrible. The elderly are being sent to wherever a bed is found for them no matter how bad the ratings are for the facility. Barrington Terrace gave my brother and me a new bright hope. I am my brother's care giver and Power of Attorney, making me responsible for his care and it was breaking my heart with how he was treated by other places. I insisted on a background check before Jerry left the hospital this 3rd time. I wish that Barrington Terrace could set the standards for other facilities with their high standards and caring staff, it could change how the elderly are treated everywhere and make their last stage of life peaceful instead of painful. Barrington has systems in place to stop errors, where other facilities are just winging it on your dime and your health. What a difference, all facilities should have to follow the program at Barrington Terrace. I love Shirley, Roberta and all the staff and help. Really good loving, caring people, treating the elderly humanely. I would give Barrington Terrace 10 Stars if I could. My brother was always cleaned, feed and well taken care of everyday. Jerry was there approximately 114 days. All of this needed because of previously bad care from uncaring people. My brother was so close to death and is now happy and sore free because of Barrinton Terrace. I wish we had more Barrington Terraces all over. We older ones could live longer happier lives! This is hands down one of the best facilities for the elderly. I had my father in two others before I found this one. It's smaller then some which in my book is the key here. Everyone knows my dads name which might sound silly but believe me after months in other homes they barely knew he existed. The staff seems to stay instead of a revolving door of new faces. In the face of a major hurricane they were calm and prepared as they were the day after. The director greeted me at the door with a smile and wanted to know if my dad was comfortable. And to please let him know if he needed anything. The electric was on ( lights, AC TV) and a full service lunch was under way. Bravo Barrington!

The care at the rehab facility is phenomenal. The people here are so caring and have treated my grandfather with the utmost of respect and love. I can't speak highly enough of them. She has received excellent care in the their memory unit, The nurses and aids are fully attentive and aware of the needs of the residents. They communicate very well. If there are any changes of any kind, i get a call. It is good for me to know that I will always know what is happening with my mother. Awareness starts from the "top" down. Mr. Grossman has his team fully aware of their responsibilities. One of which is to make sure he is up to date on all residents. I give this "Five Star" community 5 stars. Bob Wechsl

My mother in law is a resident for almost two years and loves living there. Its because the staff from the director down aim to please and they do it well. The tone for we care is set by the managing director and carried out by the social director, receptionist and the entire staff. The atmosphere there is a happy one and it makes for happy residents and a fun place to live and or visit. We our happy to be celebrating my mother in laws 100th birthday this year, and the party is at Barrington Terrace with there help we are planning a grand day. Its their we can make it happen attitude and execution that makes it so easy to celebrate events and invite the residents to join the party. I hope we can find as nice a place to live when the time comes for us to do so Happy Children of a centurion

Mom started out on the rehab side and after a few stays, we knew this was the place for her! Smaller, homier, and much more personable. You can't beat the staff, they love her like their own family! The rooms are beautiful, clean, and the food is excellent! I couldn't begin to thank them enough, God bless them!

My mom recently was in this facility and I felt I must share my personal experience. I hoped it would be decent experience but it absolutely exceeded my expectations ! My mom fell and after the weeks she spent in the hospital, I anticipated her to be most unhappy no matter where she went and I cannot express my extreme gratitude to the staff at Barrington Terrace. From my initial meeting with Roberta ( and all those after ) to my experiences with Shirley her social worker I felt she was in the hands of people who would care for her and with whom I felt a genuine sense of concern for her well being. These women were incredible.She had so many who helped her every step of the way but I must also mention Michael, the physical therapist with whom I credit her being able to get back to herself, as good as that can be at almost 94. He became her buddy and with her trust in him, she was out of the wheelchair and back at walking again. Pat was fabulous, she made sure everything that every promise was kept and that my mother would be safe. The food staff made sure she ate and hept up her strength so that she would heal quickly. Our shining star, her LPN / hero was Dennis. His heartfelt concern for her whether morning or mid-night was being any reasonable expectations. His competence and intuitive care for her needs was of that of a family member, not just a paid professional ! I never expected such a positive experience and I cannot bestow enough gratitude upon Jeff's staff.. Thank you so so very much, all of you for what you have done to give us more quality time with our mom !!!!!!!!!!!!

I own an Accredited Home Health Care Agency and on multiple occasions over the years have had clients who needed to go to Barrington Terrace. All our clients who have had to have rehab have come back and stated they were well taken care of and they would recommend the facility to their friends. I have personally checked on our clients while they were at the facility and they were all well taken care of. Barrington has a upbeat atmosphere and many activities to keep people busy and engaged on a daily basis. We have also had several clients over the years move to the A/L for long term care. They are actively engaged in activities and thanked us for referring them to Barrington. I strongly recommend Barrington Terrace for clients looking for a both rehab and long term care.

This place has some good things going for it. First and most importantly is the quality of the physical therapy sessions. The therapists are very dedicated and very caring about their mission to get handicapped elderly functioning again. Also the doctor in charge, Dr. Masserano, is very compassionate and competent. Unfortunately he is very busy and comes in once or twice a week and doesn't see or interact much with patients. The food for the most part is ok ranging from inedible to delicious with a nice variety of choices on each menu. While the atmosphere is in general depressing as the most handicapped elderly are here, and there can be a dinginess and sloppiness to the appearance of the place, the employees, including many Haitians, are very nice and pretty good at giving every patient attention when they need it. Now for the bad stuff: TThe double rooms are extremely cramped and with the wrong roomate, one who is very ill, it can be a miserable experience. The furniture has seen better days. Single rooms are available for an extra $50 a day and are much more spacious. Housekeeping is somewhat lacking and the floors in the rooms don't get vacuumed, and litter doesn't get picked up very often. Personal items go missing out of your room frequently, with clothing and especially socks disappearing. Don't bring anything here you can't afford to lose. Aside from these issues it's not a bad place and they do work miracles in many very ill elderly who have had falls and strokes.
