We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at Veranda Club for the love, compassion, and care they gave our mom throughout the time she lived there. Mom began her journey at Veranda Club in Independent Living, and as her needs changed, the staff seamlessly helped us transition her into Assisted Living and ultimately provided the higher level of care she needed. Through every stage, we felt that Mom was not simply being cared for she was truly known, valued, and loved. A very special thank you to Kevin, the Director; Louis in Sales; Ian, the Healthcare Supervisor; Jaime and Terese on the Activities Team; and every CNA, nurse, and staff member who touched Mom’s life. Each of you played an important role in making Veranda Club feel less like a facility and more like home. What meant the most to our family was knowing that Mom was being cared for in the same way we would have cared for her ourselves — with patience, dignity, kindness, and genuine love. The staff became an extension of our family, and we will forever be grateful for the relationships we built with them. Jaime and Terese brought joy and engagement to Mom’s days, while the nurses and CNAs were there for her with such compassion and dedication. Kevin, Louis, Ian, and the entire team were always there to help guide us through each transition and make what was often an incredibly difficult journey a little easier. We feel truly blessed that Mom had the opportunity to call Veranda Club home. When you are looking for a place for someone you love, you want more than a beautiful building or a list of amenities. You want people who will treat your family member as their own. That is what we found at Veranda Club. We wholeheartedly recommend Veranda Club to any family searching for a place where their loved one will be cared for, respected, supported, and most importantly loved. Moving a parent into assisted living is one of those things you know is coming, but you still hope it goes as smoothly as possible. Like most families, we were worried about how my father would adjust. Thankfully, those worries didn't last long. From day one, the people I have worked with, Louis, Diana, Ian, and Kevin, have been fantastic. They were always willing to answer questions, help with whatever came up, and made both my mother and me feel like my father was truly being cared for. The apartments are spacious, and everyone my dad has met, both the staff and the residents, has been so welcoming. My takeaway from speaking with him is that it really feels like a community rather than just a place to live. The best part has been hearing how well my father has settled in. Every time I talk to him, he sounds happier. He's getting involved, spending time with other residents, and is much more active than he was before, instead of just sitting around watching TV between medical and rehabilitation specialist appointments. Seeing that has given our family a lot of peace of mind. We had concerns he would not be happy with the meals, but that is not the case either. Thank you to Louis, Diana, Kevin, Ian, and everyone at Veranda Club for making what could have been a difficult transition such a positive one. We're very grateful for everything you've done.

My parents have been proud residents of Veranda Club Assisted Living Facility, in Boca Raton Florida over the past 3 years. During a recent stay with my parents following a health matter for my mom, I was heartened by the level of care and attention shown by the facility’s staff and residents of the Veranda Club community. During her recovery mom received countless visits each day by aides and nursing staff to inquiry on her recovery showing genuine interest in her well being. I was regularly stopped in the halls by residents expressing their wishes for her return to community activities and social events. It is during moments like this past week that demonstrate an exceptional difference and how caring people at the Veranda Club community work to lift the spirits and help others thrive through a sense of community. My parents continue to be proud to call Veranda Club home, and our family is comforted to know they are being cared for. Keep it up Veranda Club, you are making a positive difference!

The Verdana Club celebrates outdoor living as well as indoors with many amenities and a staff that strives to please at every corner you turn. We looked at many communities but the team at Verdana is truly kind and caring and very dedicated to their residents. They are also great problem solvers and will go above and beyond to come up with solutions to ensure the resident is having the best possible experience. We are extremely fortunate that our dad has found a new life and second family that showers him with attention and checks in on him regularly. Lou, the Director of Sales, has been a tremendous source of comfort and knowledge as we transitioned dad from his home to Veranda Club. He answered all our questions with patience and kindness and is always accessible. Brooke in sales is absolutely lovely and will help with any logistical issues and any questions during move in and beyond. She exudes warmth and kindness. We couldn’t navigate this new landscape without Ian the Nursing Director and his amazing staff who have helped make sure our dad is receiving the best care possible. Jami, the Director of Activities, and her staff have gone above and beyond to ensure my dad participates in the activities he enjoys which include Shabbat Services on Friday, Happy Hour and even a trip to the Casino. You can ask them any questions, and they will come up with a solution. Even the chef will make a special meal if you request it. My dad is enjoying the home cooked meals. The front desk is wonderful and they always help answer my questions with patience and warmth. Maria and the housekeeping staff are always available for any special requests. My dad has told me several times about how caring the nurses and aides are and they check in on him regularly. He also feels he is getting a different level of care here with weekly check-ins from the medical staff. He will be starting PT soon too. We are grateful that dad picked the Veranda Club as we embark on a new journey that will include a stroll around the famous lake and perhaps a seat on the front porch too.

My mother in law fell and that was the end of her living alone. After the hospital and then rehab we chose the Veranda Club for Assisted Living. We all so happy we did. My MIL tells us she is happy and feels safe. The interaction with other people has improved her demeanor, memory and quality of life. Staff are lovely and already know her. They check in on her throughout the day and even at night. I know we all sleep better at night knowing she is there.

If you are an independent person, this community is perfect. If you need assistance, I would recommend you go elsewhere. We were there for 6 months before having to make a change. The care received was less than acceptable after bringing in additional private duty help. Granted we needed more care than what was originally provided. The assisted Living staff does not like outside private help. On the other hand they don't have enough employees to give residents the proper amount of care. As well, we had several items stolen right out of the room while the resident was either sleeping, out with family or while dining. When we were moving out and given a final date of occupancy, the facility charged us an additional $500. They claimed we ran over our days. We did not, we were out by the date quoted by the director but still want additional dollars. They charge you for "to go" meals even though you're paying top dollar while living there (food included). As I stated, independent care is great, assisted living beware.

0/0 Veranda Club is highly dysfunctional and suffers from extremely poor management. The turnover rate is alarmingly high, and the new Executive Director is no better. According to the Residents, they are consistently unhappy, leading many to move out. Complaints are widespread, ranging from subpar food and unprofessional staff to inaccurate billing and unjustified costs. The facility itself is in terrible condition, with persistent mold issues and rodent infestations that pose serious health risks. This establishment is severely mismanaged and should be thoroughly investigated.

We moved. 8 months ago, our 84 years mother to assisted living at Veranda Cub. We have been very pleased with the care and assistance they have been providing her with. Her health situation improved right away. Her medications managements help her tremendously. The nurses are very caring, and they keep us informed immediately if there is any changes or if any emergency may occur. Louis Kaminow and Brooke Bartlett. Senior Lifestyle Counselors are extremely pleasant to work with and will always make themself available to answer any questions we may have. We can only highly recommend Veranda Club.

I had a short time and urgent needs to transition my Mom from a rehab to an assisted living facility. My Mom is fully cognitive, but a series of falls has forced us to move her from an independent living facility to assisted living. We wanted to ensure that the rest of her life is spent in a setting where she would live among similarly "with it" seniors, while having trust in her safety and for her medical needs. A senior advisor at Oasis listened to my mom's needs and took me to the Veranda Club. I had the great fortune of meeting, Louis Kaminow, who is an authentic and caring sales professional. I was impressed with facilities, the apartment, the friendliness and mental cognition of the residents in both independent and assisting living, and that there's just such nice clean communal space for residents. Louis answered all my questions in comprehensive fashion and demonstrated a dynamic personality, as the face of the Veranda Club. Unlike my Mom's current senior living facility, the Veranda Club doesn't seem to nickel and dime its residents including many services at a fair price. My Mom hasn't moved in, but I have no doubt that with the personnel that I've met and spoken to including Louis, Brooke, and desk personnel that my Mom will be pleased with my choice for her and happy at the Veranda Club. I only regret that she hasn't been living there these past years, as I feel it would've better suited her and met her needs. Thanks to Louis for making my decision so easy.

We recently moved my 90 year old mother down from PA and we visited many independent living communities before selecting her new home. We found Veranda Club to be the perfect fit for her. The location is great, the newly renovated apartments and amenities are beautiful, and the community is just the right size - not too big for mom, who moved from a small, rural town. The staff and residents are all very friendly and welcoming. The entire staff is top notch. Kudos to our sales advisor, Louis Kaminow. He is amazing! He goes out of his way to ensure that mom is adjusting and he responds promptly to any questions or concerns we may have. We selected an apartment that would not be ready for occupancy until December. My husband and I were traveling outside the US in November, and Lou made arrangements for mom to move into a temporary apartment where she could stay until her new apartment was ready. It gave her the opportunity to become acquanted with her new home and it gave us peace of mind that she would not be staying alone in our home while we were away. In fact, her new apartment was ready for move in while we were gone, and Lou and staff arranged to move her before we returned. Kudos, also, to Brooke, who has helped mom "learn the ropes" and to Maria, head of housekeeping, who goes above an beyond to make mom feel comfortable and welcomed. We are very happy with Veranda Club.

We visited our parents over the holiday and toured the recent renovations at Veranda Club in Boca Raton, Florida. Our parents can’t stop talking about the updated amenities such as the new fitness center, dining room, hair salon, auditorium, and the many activities they enjoy. 18 months after our parents moved into the Assisted Living community at Veranda Club, their cognitive and physical abilities have improved substantially, and our parents are both thriving, physically, mentally, and socially at Veranda. I was given the responsibility of researching senior living communities for my parents. My wife and I have looked at over ten places before visiting Veranda Club. What a difference at Veranda Club compared to most of the other communities. The building is clean, the residents and staff appear to be happy and our salesperson Louis Kaminow spent a considerable amount of time with us showing the community and apartments. My dad especially loved the pool area and surrounding lake. Everything from what we can see, and what we were told has been totally renovated.

Spent quite a bit of time with Louis Camino while researching assisted living for relatives. He was most informative about the facility and it's almost completed renovation. He is very personable and provides a welcoming and knowledgeable impression which, if characteristic of the staff in general, is an encouraging sign. The services appear to be excellent and although we will not be committing at this time, we will certainly consider Veranda in the future. Barbara B

The community is under renovation so not all areas were complete. The apartments were large, bright and cheerful. We also found the residents to be very friendly, too.

Highly recommend The Veranda Club. All the staff is extremely nice and go out of their way to make sure new and existing residents are happy. Our dealings with Lou, Suzette , Linda and Michael was nothing but above and beyond and I am so thrilled that my mother is a resident there , as I know that the staff actually care about the residents . The aides always have a smile and say hello which is so nice, and the residents are happy and friendly too. The apartments are big and beautiful and the remodel is coming along. The areas that have been completed are beautiful. I would highly recommend this assisted living facility for your loved ones.

We just recently moved my father into the Veranda Club and couldn’t be happier with the decision! We visited 6 facilities and the Veranda Club was such an easy decision to make! They are currently undergoing a 14.5 million renovation. My dads room is brand new, smells new and clean. The room is much larger than the other facilities we visited. Plus the other facilities had such a terrible smell and were so run down. The Veranda Club is the only Assisted Living Community that I can actually sit in the dining room and eat with my dad. All the rest family isn’t allowed in. I know it’s for Covid protocol but family is important to us and we want to be with my dad and also see and experience what he sees. So thankful we found the Veranda Club. Lou in Marketing has been great! Taking our calls and texts at all times of day including his day off. They found a gem with him! If he is what the rest of the staff at the Veranda Club is like then we definitely found a Diamond in the rough with the Veranda Club. A fun perk, they are getting ready to put in a dog park which I’m so excited about. Lots of exciting things coming with the new renovations.

My sisters and I looked at several different places for our father before deciding on the Veranda Club. He has been there about 6 months so far and we have been overjoyed at the service and community they provide! Everyone who works there is so friendly and really seem to enjoy what they do and that feeling permeates throughout the facility and into the residents. Everyone we encounter, anytime we visit, are always smiling and happy. My dad was depressed after my mom passed, and since moving there has become his old self again, smiling and joking. My sisters and I take comfort knowing he is being well fed and well looked after. But not only do they provide for his basic needs, they also provide for his social and emotional needs by offering all kinds of events. They do a walking club, which our dad uses his walker and joins. They offer outings and lunches. They recently did a dream flight for the veterans where they got to go to the Boca Airport and take a ride on an open air plane from the 1940’s!! Then they did a ceremony for the Veterans for Veterans Day and each veteran was called up by name, given a pin, a certificate and a quilt donated by the group Quilts of Valor! It was beautiful and touching! I cannot say enough good things about how pleased we are with the Veranda Club. I highly recommend to anyone looking for either themselves or a parent. It was such a hard decision to move our father into a community, but has turned out to be the best decision we ever could have made.

My family moved my father to the Veranda Club in August. Our experiences so far have been extremely positive. They are in the final stages of a huge renovation, so the facility feels new, clean and up to date. Good food is important to my father and he is not easy to please, and he really likes the food! The staff, especially Louis, have gone out of their way to ease the transition, and to help out in any way that they can. I toured 8 different facilities and the Veranda Club felt bright, welcoming, and not depressing! Change can be hard for seniors and I can honestly say that the Veranda Club welcomed my father with open arms! I feel confident that we chose the right place for this next phase for my dad. It's nice to know he can move from the independent living wing to the assisted living wing when he needs to, but still interact with his new friends and familiar staff!.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review for The Veranda Club in Boca Raton. In my search for an assisted living home for my aunt, we visited many but the Veranda Club was the only one that we both felt would be a good match. When we arrived at the apartment for rent, my aunt and I were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was with windows that are expansive and a terrace that brings in the sunshine. There are many activities to participate in as well as some nightly entertainment. I live in New York and was concerned about leaving my aunt who has since made many new friends. What makes living at the Veranda Club most special is its professional, caring, and involved staff including the nursing department which is top notch. The staff is wonderful and attentive to my aunt's needs. It's hard to name all but here are a few who are exemplary and a joy to work with; Michael Halpner, Susette Tyson, Lou Kaminow and Jackie Crawford. It's easy to put my mind to rest with the knowledge that my aunt is happy, healthy and thriving!

The Management team onsite is poor the staff is caring and willing to help but there hands are tied by incompetence. Yesterday we discovered the facility neglected to pay the electric bills for multiple apartments,. And they never notified any family members. Shutoff mid afternoon and power turned back on 930 today. They blamed the Post Office took no responsibility. Unfortunately I have no other options at this time.

From the moment I walked into Veranda Club there was a good feeling- I met with Wrendi who showed me around and discussed the options- We moved Dad in yesterday- To every single person who came in to say hi- from the cleaner to the managers Thank you for showing Dad there were people around who care and make his transition a very plesant experience- The food looks good, the staff in the dining room is ready to help as well. I will update soon but if this is the way it stays I will be writing a second 5 star review.
