My dad lives there and is very comfortable. Management has kept us inform of the COVID19 and how they are keeping our loved ones safe and healthy. Nothing but good things to say about this facility. Everyone works very hard and are compassionate about caring for th elderly.

My mom was here for 5 years.While the occasional sock went missing in the laundry, it was more than made up for by the compassion and friendliness by the staff.The staff and residents quickly became like a second family to her. Wow, what a great place for my mom! After 3 months in and out of hospitals and rehab facilities, Ive gotten a good taste of a poor facility and a great facility, and those in between. I have been so impressed with Brookdale Altamonte so far and am so happy I chose to move my 83 year old mom there.The place is clean, its nicely decorated, and looks upscale. Im impressed with David Wayne, the Exec Director. He truly seems to care about the residents and committed to his job. Ive even seen him in there on Saturdays and Sundays when I went to visit my mom.The staff is attentive, always responding to my moms page within 5-7 minutes, and they are pleasant about it. They dont seem bothered like so many of the staff I experienced at other facilities. Ive been pleasantly surprised at how many activities are available, and happy that they really encourage the residents to get out of their rooms, participate in the community and stay active.My wife worked as a therapist for many years in geriatric environments and she too has been very impressed as well, so that says a lot.

Sales agent Brittlny, was helpful and knowledgeable in answering questions, in understanding needs, and welcoming us. The apartments are laid out well but a little small for the prices. However, Im not concerned about size. I liked what I saw and am definitely keeping you top of the list.

One of my friends is a resident here. She really enjoys it and I like to visit her Thursday afternoons, when they have happy hour and musical entertainment.The staff are courteous and attentive every time I visit.Im glad that shes enjoyed it so much.

My Dad was a resident here for 2 years.The staff were tentative and would always call me with any concerns.I know he enjoyed happy hour and the card games they would play.Overall, a good experience.

Helped my mother move there last spring. Shes happy with the overall experience. Had heard of staffing shortages, but she is well taken care of, with very few cases where staff was unresponsive due to time constraints. Good communication and care for residents during the recent hurricane..

Brookdale Altamonte Springs is a great place to live and work. The comfortable feeling hits you, as soon as you walk through the front door. It isnt as overwhelming as some of the larger communities and makes the transition for the residents a lot easier.The community is very active, especially with the overwhelming involvement of the residents family members. Feel free to stop by and ask the residents yourself!

The staff tries very hard to make the residents feel at home. It is a safe and caring environment. My mother has been a resident for a year and has adjusted to her new home. The nurses give her medication on time and the rooms are kept clean and tidy by housekeeping. Anne and Rich do a great job and advocate for the residents. My mom loves the soups which are made fresh daily.Brookedales corporate office needs to spend some money on updating elevators so they are reliable and dont break as residents in wheelchairs need them. Doors for lobby bathrooms and courtyard need an automatic opener as they are heavy and difficult for the elderly to open. My five stars are based on the staff and general living conditions as I will not blame them for their corporations faults.
