Had to get my family member out of there. Physical therapy was helpful. But, she didn't get meals on multiple occasions and nobody seemed to care. Patients need to eat.

A loved one lived here for almost 3 years. She told me a number of times she was happy here. It's not the fanciest place but, in our experience, the staff truly care for the residents and do their best for them. Our family had a very good experience here.

My grandmother was recently there for rehab and I must say we had a great experience. At first we had some questions but manager Kelly answered all of them with kindness. She was really great. Therapy worked very well with her and we are overall pleased. Thank you excel care especially Kelly

It says it it the name Excel Care. This building is one of the most cleanest nursing home’s I have ever been to. It’s smells like fresh air inside which is a welcoming sign that the building is taken care of. Tiffany the housekeeping Director is great at her job and she shows true compassion for the residents. This building is the standard for nursing homes and you can trust that your love ones will be taken care of with love and support.

Had a great experience for my wife's rehab. Clean facility and nice staff. Would recommend this place for rehab. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially nurse kelly and cindy. I hope she wont need to come back, but we would feel safe coming back if we needed to.

To start off with the receptionist. Miss Jeannie and Miss Rose were really great. After a few times they recognized my significant other administration would be Robin. Robin did a fantastic time transitioning me there and transitioned me out for the morning. Aid would be Miss Faith from 7:00 to 3:00. She's awesome. From 3:00 to 11:00 it would be Mark the aide and and Germany. The nurses I would say. Miss Kelly and then activity wise it would be Shelley.. They all of those people were awesome. Great! Hard-working stepped in when somebody else didn't want to and I want thank them for all the work and hard all the hard work they did

I like the staff because they are kind and considerate. My roommate is a gem and we get along really well. There is room for improvement in the kitchen, but I really like the spaghetti and macaroni and cheese

The Physical Therapy department is excellent and very professional. My father in law was at Excelcare for 5 weeks and PT Director Radhika and her staff were very professional and provided best services for rehab. The Physical and Occupational therapy staff went above and beyond to make sure the patients are comfortable doing daily routine. The nursing staff and aids were also provided services.

I have had a positive experience with Excelcare at Newark, where my 83 year-old cousin currently resides. She originally started out in the Atrium for independent living but has temporarily moved to the skilled nursing side of the facility for post-op rehabilitation. I appreciate how the two sides are connected but at the same time are separated, which helps maintain a sense of community; some of her friends from the Atrium even come to visit! Chandler, the executive director, of the Atrium has been amazing. She’s very hands-on and genuinely cares about the residents. She worked hard to ensure my cousin’s transition went smooth without feeling uprooted, which I truly appreciate. The staff across both sides are always willing to help, and I feel confident bringing any concerns to them. It really feels like a family there, and I’ve been welcomed as part of that family too. Overall, I’m really pleased with the level of care and support my cousin is receiving. It brings me peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands.

Shout out to Chandler who was able to take an overly stressful situation and turn it into a smooth transition. She treated us like family from the very first conversation. She has been attentive, accommodating, and gone above and beyond to ensure we were all well informed and comfortable with this next phase of life. The building is well kept, spacious, and offers a community feel with a wide variety of events for it's residents.

Excelcare at Newark has a unique community feel, enriching activities and caring staff. My 87-year-old mom feels like she is part of a family. She regularly participates in fun activities like chair yoga, daily exercise, bingo, cards and book club. I can tell that every team member genuinely cares about the residents. The Maintenance Manager now lives on site and is available to help. That gives me and my mom great peace of mind especially when her keys slipped off her walker down the elevator shaft! The focus lately has been on improving meals and so far, they are accomplishing their goal. Proactive communication to residents and families has been hit or miss. The Director is extremely responsive to questions or concerns though. Excelcare at Newark is a community I would recommend; it has worked out well for our family.

Rehab I recently was a patient at Churchman's Village for rehabilitation. I cannot give enough praise to show how much I enjoyed my stay. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. The food was outstanding and the care impeccable. I would highly recommend Churchman's Village to everyone.
