I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank the entire Sate Street Assisted Living team for the great welcome and care they provided for my aunt in her last years. The onboarding process was very welcoming and supportive as I lived in another state but the team helped make it a smooth transitional. The executive director, nurses, techs, activities director, dining staff and front desk staff provided such care for my aunt even at times when she made it a bit challenging. I will always be so grateful my aunt was a resident when she needed the most help in her life.

I can't say enough about the wonderful care my mother is receiving at Statestreet! From Keena to the maintenance folk, nurses, front desk attendants - they all provide diligent genuine loving care. My mom is happy, healthy, busy and we are so grateful. Miss Cheryl the director is assessable, communitive and astute, she runs a tight ship!! The food is great & the activities director is awesome!

When I go to visit my father at State Street facility, I find that he is exceptionally well cared for in the Memory Care center. He is actively engaged throughout the day, his hygiene is well taken care of and the staff is sensitive to all his special needs. My father was in another senior facility in Dover where he was consistently left in bed all day, in wet clothing and ignored. My family and I have found that State Street facility is wonderful and a relief to our family to know my father is well taken care of.

Mom is adjusting well, big life transition. She needed to be in a safe place 24/7. It was overwhelming for our family. State Street is very welcoming and she is participating in activities, which is wonderful, it has been family only for 4 plus years. All her needs are met here and the food is fabulous! We know alot of friends who also used State Street and spoke well of their experience also.

My Mother wasn’t happy about moving to State Street Assisted Living, but with her dementia, we felt it was best for her, The staff has been extremely helpful in getting her settled in. They try to accommodate her every need. My only regret is we didn’t get her a one bedroom apartment instead of a large studio.

Kate was so helpful through what should have been a very difficult time for our family. With her guidance and compassion she made it clear that State Street is the best choice for my mother! I always love going to volunteer at State Street! I love the activities they have going all the time and the events that they have to bring in the community and families, like the holiday party! State Street Assisted Living is home to my mother and father. It has been an adjustment for both of them but the fabulous staff of professionals have made their transition as great as it could be.

Our Mother is currently at State Street. She has Dementia and is thriving in the environment that they provide. She says all the time the chef is phenomenal. She enjoys all the activities and field trips. The people that work there are genuine and truly care about the residents. It provides us peace of mind knowing she is in a safe and secure environment surrounded by people who care for her.

If you are searching for an assisted living facility for your loved one, State Street Assisted Living (SSAL) definitely deserves a look. I highly recommend SSAL for anyone needing to reside in an assisted living facility. My father spent the last 10 months of his life there and I still have acquaintances living there. The staff is friendly and caring. A big plus is that SSAL’s meals are known to be the best in the area. Family members often have meals with the residents and rave about the food. No place is absolutely perfect. However, if you have ANY issues, just talk to Carol Layton in Community Relations and she is on the case. She ups the grade of SSAL from an A to an A+.

The grounds are well maintained. Currently, as of August 2016 there's construction going on inside of the building that's causing the inside to look a little unkempt. The meals are nice and the rooms themselves are well maintained. There are a fair amount of activities for the clients to partake in.
