Why would your home threaten to throw a 96-year-old elderly patient, who does have Medicare, plus title 19, plus health insurance, out and stop all therapy options when she ca not even yet walk? how cruel is your organization?

Went to The Lutheran Home after I had my left knee replacement surgery. Also had a problem with the saphenous nerve. Am a retired RN so I assure you that I know what I’m talking about. The PT & OT Departments are better than exceptional; they are extraordinary. Am not related to anyone who works there. This is a legitimate evaluation from a “real” patient.

The Lutheran Home has made my Mother the Happiest she has EVER been in her life!!! Mom has Dementia with short term memory loss - She truly lives in the moment! All the Staff are friendly, caring, attentive, loving and professional. The facility is really beautiful, newly remodeled, clean and doesnt have that nursing home smell.I am very grateful to have my Mom somewhere as safe, wonderful and loving as the Lutheran Home.

My mom has lived at the Lutheran home since 2015 she is well cared for they have a wonderful staff and have done a great job with the new building updates it is a very clean beautiful home .

My mother was sent to the nursing home for rehabilitation. She really raved about the staff that were so kind to her and treated her with respect. If she needs a nursing home in the future, the Lutheran Home of Southbury would be first choice.

On behalf of our family I would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone at the Lutheran Home! They showed my mom, Vicky, respect, excellent care, love and made her story a good one. Mom would have been there one year on April 1st.Special thanks to her nurses Amy and Debbie, they were so caring to her and on her final days were so nice to us showing us love, support and helped us with privacy in her final hours. Pastor McGrath was so kind before and after moms death.Thank you to all the Lutheran Angels and may God Bless you all!

My Uncle is at the Lutheran Home after a significant fall at home. He is recovering faster than we ever expected. Whenever we talk to him he talks about the staff and how many friends he has made there. He loves how the staff take time out of their day to spend time with him. Kudos to all those who work there and for making a difference. Thank you for all you do!
