We recently moved my brother, who has early onset of dementia, to Crescent Point at Niantic. At only 59 years old my brother is the youngest resident. The staff have gone above and beyond to make him feel comfortable, and not like an elderly person. After only a week I walked the halls with my brother and everyone was saying hello to him by his first name. The food is delicious, the facility is immaculate, and my brother is happy to have people around him. My siblings and I have taken a deep breath knowing he is safe and cared for above and beyond what we ever could have expected. Love, Love, Love.

I recently moved into the assisted living here at Crescent Point. During my tours of different facilities, the staff here was different than any of the other places I toured. Crescent Points' staff is genuinely happy to be here, they truly impressed me by keeping smiles on during difficult work and being happy even when bending over backwards to help us. I came from taking care of myself but coming here I am relieved of those extra tasks and able to enjoy my day to day life more. The team is great. They make the transition smooth and try to keep you feeling at home.

Our experience with Crescent Point over the past six months has been outstanding. The transition into assisted living can be emotionally complex, but from the very beginning, the staff provided steady guidance, reassurance, and genuine support”not only for my mom, but for me and our family as well. Since moving in, my mom’s transition has been a kind and thoughtful welcome into her new home. The staff are true professionals, demonstrating tremendous emotional intelligence and care for incoming residents. The space itself feels like a cross between a quintessential New England bed-and-breakfast in downtown Niantic and the warm comfort of a Marriott Residence Inn. Her new home has had a noticeably positive impact”she is happier, calmer, feels safer, and is more comfortable overall. She has become more social and engaged, which sometimes means she’s not always available to talk on the phone”and that’s a good thing! There is a wide variety of activities always available. She especially enjoys the scenic rides, which have become a meaningful and joyful part of her routine. She also absolutely loves the visits from the local elementary school, where children read books to the residents. There are musical concerts each week, including performances from the Coast Guard Academy band as well as various artists along the shoreline. The dining experience is also an integral part of my mom’s day, where she can sit with her friends and enjoy a nutritionally balanced meal. There is a good variety on the menu, and she looks forward to the meals. There is always an option to eat in the privacy of her room, and she initially started off having breakfast on her own. However, she has since grown to love the routine of going to the dining hall each morning, where she feels pampered and cared for. The staff don’t just serve meals”they take the time to greet her by name and check in on how she’s feeling and what she might need. There is a true kindness and patience in the way they interact with residents. I’ve seen it firsthand and have dined with her numerous times. The staff truly set Crescent Point apart. My mom values the familiar faces she sees every day and the sense of connection that brings. She also takes great comfort in her living space”enjoying quiet time, her surroundings, and the simple pleasure of looking out the window. Communication throughout the entire process has been exceptional. From admission onward, the staff have been consistently responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Navigating this transition can feel heavy, and Linda, Ericka, and Jessica have been dynamic, thoughtful, and deeply supportive at every step. Crescent Point offers a well-run, caring environment that provides both residents and families with peace of mind. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality assisted living community.

During a very challenging time, I visited all of the local assisted living options - for an out-of-state move for both of my parents. All of the management and staff at Crescent Point were friendly and helpful throughout the transition. One of my parents has fully integrated into the community - making new friends and enjoying the range of activities and events. My other parent is more difficult, but the staff has been as supportive as they can. I feel welcome when I visit and my two young children enjoy visiting too, which makes me very happy.

My parents have been residents for almost 3 years and have moved from being completely independent to needing substantial assistance (and one passing away). While there are things that can/should be improved, the facility is/was excellent on many key needs. My parents were happy, engaged in many activities and were known personally by staff. The staff overall is attentive, professional, kind. Nurses were proactive when they identified additional needs/safety concerns. Care is expensive (although relatively priced) but they are pretty transparent about costs and needs. Some of the health care restrictions create hurdles that are frustrating but are a result of state/federal regulations. We would recommend.

My wife Jetske and I have been enjoying three diners per day, breakfast , lunch and supper and in particular in this review , I like to mention the very friendly, helpful serving staff. Voluntarily they suggest what deserts are available and recommended. Per resident they remember their preferred dishes. The staff have them ready the moment one sits at assigned tables, likewise with the main meals.Serving on a first name basis. Staff constantly moves around to be available to residents while they are dining so new requests can almost instantly be accommodated. not only is it a beautiful facility from the outside, it’s even more beautiful from the inside with the amazing attentive supportive staff. The administration team is always here for any questions that you ever need answered. they have an array of activities for the residents and families to do and I would highly highly recommend this facility for anyone and I would choose this facility to put my own family member in if it ever needed. I had a patient transfer from a snf to crescent point for assisted living. Sometimes, this can be a headache with all the paperwork, and mamy phones calls to ensure continuity of care. Working with Jessica the admin made this whole process as smooth as creamy peanut butter. She was highly responsive to my calls, texts, and emails. My patient did call to tell us how much she loved cresent point. Her absolute favorite is the food!!

My mother stayed at Crescent Point for a respite stay earlier this summer. I can’t speak highly enough of the care Jessica and Garrett took to make her feel comfortable and welcome. There are so many activities to keep the residents occupied, interested, and content. They offer daily trips on a shuttle bus to interesting locations, and even went for ice cream one day! Every single staff member is outgoing, friendly, and kind. We were all very happy with the care my mother received while there.

My loving wife didn't spent much time there but the time she did is a time I will never regret. Once my wife moved in, with Crescent staff help, I was impressed with how Nursing / CNAs / housekeeping etc. cared for her well being. I could feel assured she was safe. It was COVID time and access was not permitted. I recieved pictures of her time to time (I approved), was great. Nurse kept me informed of any and all medical issues. All staff were kind and friendly once we could access.

My Mom lived her final 5 years at Crescent Point. The caregivers, nurses, and administration were supportive, thoughtful, and loving to my Mom and me. I will forever be thankful and grateful to our Crescent Point "family".

My mom spent the last part of her life at Crescent Point, Niantic CT. Each touchpoint beginning with the initial tour was fantastic. The management, nursing staff, aids, and kitchen staff etc. all went out of their way to accommodate my moms needs, especially when she required additional attention. Thank you Crescent Point for being my extended family and for taking care of my mom. I miss her and my family will miss you as well. I should add that Niantic is a beautiful little town with wonderful restaurants, bakeries, and shopping, all a short walk from the facility.

The office and nursing staff were terrific in helping us with a very difficult transition into assisted living. They "held our hands" in the process and it was clear our elder was in terrific hands in making a hard situation as friendly and comfortable as possible. They provide good updates on status and are readily accessible if we reach out with questions.

Since walking in to Crescent Point for our first meeting, I have been tremendously impressed with every aspect of it. The staff is beyond helpful, so outgoing, and deeply considerate. The rooms and common areas are classy, comfortable and welcoming as well. In finding a place for my father, I have toured no less than forty senior living facilities, and I know he is in the best place.

The staff at Crescent Point has been amazing and so helpful to us in moving my stepmother into her apartment there! Colette Emery actually worked with the movers to set up the furniture (due to COVID we couldn't go in ourselves) and everything was done perfectly! Since her move, my stepmother has sounded much happier than she has in a long time. They attend to all her needs, and give her a much more stimulating life than she ever had at home.
