The staff is friendly, and there are a lot of nurses checking on patients very often. The facility is very clean and smells nice. Exceptional care for my father. Memory care Director is phenomenal, very timely with responses and communication was superb. Social worker was very responsive and caring. My father had some favorite CNAs- Christopher, Ericka and Maria. I am very experienced in SNFs as a healthcare provider and legal professional, so very cautious when proceeding but with these folks on my father’s care team, I was able to make a very difficult situation a bit less stressful on our family. I know how difficult this industry can be. These folks went above and beyond to ensure my dad was alright, knew his family was near, felt safe. And for that I will be forever grateful to his team of loving caregivers at this facility.

A friend recommended this facility when I needed somewhere for my Grandma and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. The Director of Admissions was so kind (I can’t remember his name) and within hours made arrangements for my Grandmother’s transfer. The staff is very communicative and dedicated to ensuring the best possible care for your loved one. There is a wonderful young man (I believe CNA), Jalen, who my Grandma adores. He is so soft spoken and incredibly kind, gentle & helpful - he listens to her talk & calls her Barbs which made me giggle. Ari is another phenomenal (I believe CNA) that is just a very caring and kind person. They are all wonderful, but I have had the pleasure of the most interaction with these two. Her Nurse, Allison is also amazing - she has kept me posted on absolutely everything. Christine & Shonda in Case Management/Social Services go absolutely above and beyond. And Matt the weekend Nursing Supervisor is also another phenomenal human that genuinely cares about your loved one’s well being. The PT & OT staff have been wonderful with her as well! The facility itself is very clean and welcoming. I can’t be there every day with her and it is such a relief to trust that she is getting the best care possible. I’m very grateful for the care that they all provide to her (it would be impossible to remember everyone’s name) but there is not a single person there who has not treated my Grandma with the best care possible and I am so thankful.

Went today to visit my uncle, I’ve been there before to visit my mom. Both occasions I was treated respectfully and with courtesy, from checking in, to the nurses coming into the room. Staff was awesome! They were selling candy at the desk with proceeds that went to Alzheimers, which we couldn’t pass up, came in handy when my granddaughter wanted a snack! Keep up the good work and thanks to all for having a smile on your faces, sometimes that’s all we need to see, to feel comforted! 🙂

My stepdad was admitted on 10/20/24 and discharged on 12/13/24. I am also his POA. He has been in and out of rehab for over a year. I will break down my experience... Medical - F - I was assured that no medication changes would be instituted without my knowledge. This turned out not to be true. He was taken off of critical diuretics within days of admission. I had stated I was afraid he was filling up with fluid towards the end of his stay, was told his weight hadn't changed. (THIS is not a typical way of checking for fluid overload) The day he returned home it was evident his fluid overload was affecting his breathing. The nurse came on 10/22 and recommended he be placed back in the hospital (he had 4+ pitting). Instead, I decided to try to manage at home. Within a week of putting him back on his diuretics, his fluid overload was under control. As well, he was discharged with a horrible fungus infection on his private part. This infection set aside any chance of putting him on a Texas catheter which would have made him more comfortable. It took 3 weeks for this infection to clear up with prescription strength cream which was excruciating to put on him. He was also discharged with horrible open wounds on his bottom that we are still dealing with. I was not told of this when he was discharged. PT/OT - A+ - This team is excellent. They did everything they could to prepare my stepdad for coming home. Health Aids - D - Due to the fact that my stepdad ended up with a horrible fungus, means this area seriously needs improvement on how to properly clean the elderly. I had also mentioned numerous times that he needed to use the urinal and not go in his diaper due to him having a bacteria resistant UTI. Within the first few weeks I noticed there were no urinals around the room and when there was, it was clear they weren't encouraging him to use them. Social Services - A++ - Shonda was a pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable., professional, an absolute treasure. The company is lucky to have someone this skilled in their profession. In closing, if your parent/loved one is healthy and in need of rehabilitation, the crew in PT/OT will get the job done. If your loved one is health compromised in any way, I would not recommend this facility. *To the company who owns this facility: Please do surveys AFTER a patient has been discharged, not after only a couple of weeks of them being there. The cracks are only exposed after they come home.

My mother has been there for the past 2 weeks in their Passport program. The improvements that I've seen in her physical abilities are impressive. She went from hardly sitting up on her own to wanting to walk everywhere all because of the care she is getting. The building needs a bit of a face-lift, but every single staff member I have come into contact with (administration, nurses, cnas, housekeeping, social work and beyond) has been so helpful and kind. I am grateful for such a safe and happy place for my mom.

From the initial phone call (in a panic to find a great place for our Mom's new long term needs) with Ashley of Admissions I knew we were in good hands. Upon arriving with my Mom's belongings, the receptionist immediately jumped from her seat to assist me, every staff person I encountered made eye contact and greeted me. Even the lobby itself reflects love-so welcoming, comfortable and always holiday decorated. The aids, nursing staff, kitchen staff all called my Mom by name, kept extra eyes on her when necessary, she was definitely cared for and safe. We could not have asked for more, especially at this time in her life. Even Mom's roommates; first Deborah, then Betsy genuinely cared about her and made my Mom's stay better. I have spent a fair amount of time at Marlborough Health and Rehabilitation Center over last year. A lovely high level rehabilitation and skilled nursing center nestled in a quaint safe neighborhood in Marlborough. The rehabilitation, nursing, recreation department is wonderful. Lead by a tremendous hands approachable administrator which is crucial as well an admissions gal who goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. I highly recommend this lovely center !

This facility has many life safety violations that a regular person not in the industry would notice but they are there! Also, there's a patient who constantly yells out all day long which is not conducive to healing. The person also sounds like he is tortured mentally in his own mind and could greatly benefit from psychiatric medications. The staff were very nice but completely understaffed. My aunt was soaked in urine and crying upon my arrival. The parking lot is lawsuit waiting to happen; someone is going to fall as the tar is broken throughout. The ramp to the courtyard is not level so wheelchairs need to come in backwards to get over the small hump. Overall, not a place I would ever send a loved one.

This facility has far surpassed my expectations since September of 2021. My mother Kathleen moved in last year and she has received what I evaluate to be incredible care. My mom has a extremely severe and rare dementia that is vascular. She is often disoriented. Sometimes calm sometimes extremely difficult. She has made friends in this facility and the staff watches out for her constantly. My mom can be extremely difficult and stubborn. It is one of the things I love about her the most. I truly feel that this facility has done every possible thing to keep my mom safe and comfortable during a extremely challenging time. I have seen her at times at night when she is border line mean to staff and they find a way to make sure she is cared for and comes through it. Brittany at the front desk is a saint. The nurses she calls Nancy (there names are not Nancy) are second to none, and the man she often calls Bob that is actually a resident is a blessing. This place has given her more time that I can enjoy with her she would not have had. I’m grateful for all they have done. Today Tuesday May 17, 2022 I visited her and took her outside for a time this morning. I was concerned about her breathing at night and I mark on her lower lip. The APRN male there today went out of his way to care for my mother and set up a plan to check on both. She often has these random bruises when she was in her home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY. I looked at a lot of them and I know what a tuff choice it was for me. I wish I read a review like this when I was stressed out. Well deserved. Jeffrey

From what i have noticed this place needs a update in the interior. The rooms are sub par, the beds are old, the windows are drafty. It is not as clean as it should be. I did the inspection of the facilty, the food they feed the residents is shameful, I found another place.Too bad as it is close to home.
