From the initial moment my family member and I considered Addison Place, the entire process was seamless and reassuring. Always welcoming, helpful, and supportive of my parent and our family. They're here for you when you need them, they're a call or text or email away, and they are extremely helpful during the transition to living there. The building is older but still kept quite clean and nice looking, and the staff is all wonderful. Shout out to the amazing nursing and front desk staff - your hard work is noticed and appreciated!!

Our dad moved into Addison Place October, 2024. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in March, 2024. My sister and I wish that he could have been convinced to move there sooner. The facility is beautiful. Dad's apartment was fantastic. Everyone who works there is wonderful. Unfortunately, Dad only had four months at Addison. When he was still in good shape he made some friends. He enjoyed going to the dining room, which really feels like a restaurant. The food is great. I have to say that everyone at Addison treated me and my sister as family, and they were totally attentive to our dad. At the end, Dad had hospice care and 24-hour aides, and the staff at Addison coordinated wonderfully with everybody. My sister and I will be forever grateful to everybody at Addison Place for everything they for Dad and for us.

After searching and visiting various memory care facilities for our mom, we decided on Addison Place in Glastonbury, CT. Now, after 2 months of high quality care we can certainly say that we made the best choice for her. She is very happy and thriving. The staff is extremely caring and delightful. We visit often, always unannounced, and we always find mom dressed and engaged in activities. Recently we made arrangements to have lunch with mom and 6 family members. We were directed to a lovely private room where we could leisurely visit while enjoying the daily menu choices. Everyone was so pleased and commented on the beautiful facility. Obviously, a Memory Care facility will have older residents in various states of mental and physical decline. But we've been delighted to see them so often smiling, and always well cared for and engaged in activities as suitable for their specific conditions. We will continue to visit often and fully expect that Addison Place will continue with the exemplary care that we have been witnessing.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Addison Place at Glastonbury. I find the staff and facility far exceed expectations for the care for my mother in the memory care unit. The staff is compassionate and engaging. The facility is secure and very clean. The attention to healthcare needs and personal hygiene is excellent. There are many activities for residents to participate in. Thank you to everybody at Addison Place who make it very easy for our peace of mind!!

My father has been a resident of Addison Place for several years. The staff has been very attentive to my father's needs and extremely patient; he isn't the most easy-going individual. They have scheduled assessments that they conduct, and as more needed care was identified for my father, it was adjusted accordingly. Most recently, he had to be moved to their Memory Care unit, and they did this expeditiously because of the importance of the situation at the time. They were so helpful and accommodating, even the Executive Director, Sandra, pitched in to help get my father moved because of the last-minute need. My father enjoys his new home, and we feel relieved that we found a facility that puts their residents first and keeps their loved ones abreast of any situations for which they should be notified. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a home for their loved one/s to live and socialize among their peers.

When my 89 year old father was no longer able to live at home independently, we toured several assisted living communities and found that Addison Place in Glastonbury was accommodating, priced competitively, conveniently located, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. What we didn’t realize at the time was the high caliber of care, support, and personal connections he would experience there and how that would improve the quality of his life in the next year. From the administrative and nursing staffs, personal care aides, dining room staff, everyone knew and appreciated my dad as an individual. He made friendships with many people, eating three meals daily with them, attending weekly concerts in house, and participating in group activities. As an Air Force veteran, he and fellow veterans (of which there were many) were honored several times. It was truly a team effort at Addison Place and our requests ” large or small - were always met. I’m grateful we made the decision to move my father into Addison Place, and would recommend others who are considering assisted living for a loved one to tour the facility, meet the staff, and its residents.

Enjoyed my experience at Addison Place with the friendly and kind staff. Spacious facility to set-up my equipment with plenty of room to interact with the very social residents. Staff was prompt in communicating and very helpful with the little things. Definitely enjoy my time spent in the community and look forward to my next visit!!

My Dad has been staying in this facility for almost two years and enjoys it very much. The staff take special care of him and the other residents. It is an upbeat environment with a huge activitiy program which keeps him very busy. He enjoys the concerts, art and cooking classes as well as Friday field trips to museums, plays, the beach in the summer time and various restaurants. He also has the abililty to take the van to church and cards when he wants to see other friends. He is also in good care with his nursing needs and we are well informed when any changes occur. My family feels very fortunate to have him there and that he is extremely happy.

Finding a caring, loving, competent facility for your loved one is a daunting task. Fortunately, Memory Care at Addison Place is all that and more. My friend has been a resident for 1 1/2 years. I won’t try to name all the staff in case I forget someone. They work under the guidance of Dawn Anderson. Dawn is a one woman dynamo! She’s smiling and calm during all situations. Her staff follows her lead. They all care for the residents. They take the time to know their personalities. They are Amazing, caring individuals! I visit 2-3 times per week. I get to see activities, playing games, having lunch, enjoying entertainment, or engaging in simple conversations. Dawn and her amazing staff make sure to include everyone. Obviously I could go on and on. I will close by saying check out Addison Place. You will have peace of mind knowing your loved one is in a caring, competent and loving environment.

Addison Place at Glastonbury is a top-notch facility that I am proud to call home for my 80-year-old mother. The staff is very friendly and responsive, the environment is welcoming and clean and the level of care my mom receives is fantastic! I love that I don't have to worry about her safety because I know she is well taken care of. The weekly involvement activities and trips are creative and fun and allow my mom to be well socialized with the other residents in the Addison community. Lastly, I have to give a shout out to Debbie Artinian, Director of Community Relations. She is a true professional who is always willing to go above and beyond to answer and/or resolve any concerns or issues my mom or I have.

My mother-in-law has been at the Atria for two months now. We have been very happy and impressed with the caring employees and caring atmosphere that permeates this Atria. The facility, events and food are top notch. She is in the Memory Care Unit and the Life Guidance Director, Dawn s amazing. Her crew does a tremendous job under sometimes difficult circumstances. Laura in sales is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. She actually visited my mother-in-law during a recent hospital stay. This Atria is what all assisted living facilities should aspire to be like.
