This is an amazing place to be at. When you walk in it doesn't matter if you are an employee, resident, or a family member they make you feel as welcome as possible and everyone is so kind.

I don't like not having a swimming pool or transportation whenever I need to the store. Overall the staff is wonderful, they're tentative to my needs, everyone is so nice. I wish we had more outdoor walks and historically related events.

My father, my mother, and step-father all moved to Brandywine over the last 2 years, and it has been a great experience overall. They have many more opportunities now instead of being stuck at home, and they have made life-long friends with both staff and other residents. It feels like home and is a very friendly and safe environment with a good balance of independence and support that puts everyone at ease.

The staff at Brandywine is top notch. Nursing is on top of everything and I feel relieved knowing my mom is safe and well cared for. Day-to-day staff are caring and keep moms spirits up during this difficult phase of life. They work with families to try and accommodate every need including rides to appointments, coordination of medical care with physicians, and adjusting personal care as needed to allow mom as much independence as possible. Mom has been at several other places in the area and they don't compare.

My mom lived in Brandywine's Memory Care Unit for almost 5 years. The care was exceptional. The staff is compassionate, patient, kind, loving and skillful. Every time I visited, the facility was clean and the residents were engaged in an activity or resting comfortably. When I brought up any concerns with the staff or administration, they were respectful and willing to make changes. Moving my mom to Brandywine was one of the best decisions I ever made.

My 95 year old mother has been a resident in Brandywine of Litchfield’s Respite Care program for the past two months after suffering a fall resulting in a broken ankle. The care she received from the aides was wonderful, they we’re always courteous, kind, and responsive to my mom’s every need. Lindsay Miller, Jim, and Mermisa went above and beyond the call of duty time and again to help whenever they could. Lindsay Miller even arranged a zoom call with my sisters in California for her 95th birthday, providing a cake and balloons to make it special for her when her daughters couldn’t be there. I will forever be thankful for the excellent care she received during her stay.

Our friend and former neighbor lived at Brandywine for 7 years, 4 of those years in Reflections. I went there a least once a month and was always impressed with the responsive staff, the care and attention to detail provided to our friend. The staff organized daily activities and outings. The environment is warm, safe and visually pleasant. We appreciated the exceptional care.

It was my pleasure to have stayed at Brandywine. What a fun time it was. Everyone was a joy to meet. so caring and could not do enough to help or please me. The meals were delicious and delivered always with a smile ..... I will miss the new friends I met at Brandywine , however, I will be back to visit for sure 😇

Having lived at another assisted living that had a staffing shortage…..what a difference! Everyone at Brandywine knows your name, they help you out all the time. The food here is spectacular and the chef will work with you if you have a special diet. The nursing staff is very very good. They are attentive and their concierge doctor is excellent. You’re never bored at Brandywine. There are several activities every day and there is something for everyone.

My mother was a resident in Reflections at Brandywine Living at Litchfield for the last three years. We were really happy with her care and the caring community that Brandywine provided for her. In the three years she lived at Brandywine, we got to the staff quite well. They always made us feel welcome, as if we were visiting grandmas house! One of our biggest fears was that my children (all elementary aged) would not feel comfortable visiting, and we desperately wanted them to still be able to connect with their grandmother and have fun when visiting so they would want to visit again! The staff always welcomed them - and we came to most look forward to the Family Connections events every month, where the whole family was invited for music, delicious food, dancing, arts and crafts - unique events each month and so much fun! Brandywine feels like family. Their kindness, understanding, and care in difficult decisions and transitions meant the world to us...and above all, welcoming our family with open arms.

I moved my 90 year old mother into Brandywine in Litchfield Ct after a rehab, and during the pandemic. Because of the virus we visit through a plexiglass partition. The staff is vigilant and they keep the patients safe. My mother is in the memory unit. She is healthy, loves the food, has made some friends and looks good. The staff has been very helpful. I live out of state and I feel that my mother is in a safe place with real professionals.

My name is Anthony and I just finished up working here after 3 years and every moment has been a pleasure. This place is grade A remarkable from the staff to our residents everything about Brandywine is great. I had the pleasure of working with an amazing staff in which I made friends for life! I worked for the dining department under Head Chef Don Luth a stand up guy and great leader who served our country honorably and now continues to serve our community and residents here at brandywine by providing top of the line meals with true passion and commitment and it was a great pleasure to work with him and all the great chefs. Our Marketing Coordinator Amber will be one of the first people you meet here, a former US Marine Amber brings an unmatched dedicated work ethic and with her friendly professional personality will help to make you and your loved one feel right at home. Our nursing department is top of the line lead by Julie who is one of the most caring and loving people I have ever met she is always there to brighten someones day and leads a great team of wonderful nurses( Jeanise and Kristen to name a few) who are nothing but some of the best people I have ever met who put their heart and soul into their work. Our Executive director Robin is easily one of the most professional and dedicated leaders I have ever had the privilege to work for she constantly goes above and beyond to make this place wonderful and does a great job at it. All in all I give this place a 10 out of 10 life here is truly beautiful.

I love this place! The boss named Mike is the best!!! My dad works as a mechanic there and the residents love him! This place is the best in the world! I would recommend this for you parents, or friends, that have dementia, or just need somewhere to live.

Mom has lived here happily for almost 3 years. Shes 98, with dementia. Her apartment is very well kept, and the entire facility is clean and very impressive, both inside and out. The meals are delicious! The personal attention she receives daily from the dining room staff, concierge desk, Escapades staff and business staff is heartwarming, and they always have a smile for her. But the nurses and CNAs are awesome: the most understanding, kind, caring people on earth!!! I have great peace of mind knowing that Mom is so well cared for.

I had gone to quite a few facilities for tours and to meet the staff but Brandywine topped all the others. There really was no comparison. My Aunt has been there now for two months and she is doing great thanks to the terrific staff, the food, the beauty of the facility and the many activities that keep her engaged everyday. The place is so clean and like a hotel. Her private room is so nice. My Aunt is clean, dressed beautifully and has her hair done in the salon upstairs. Were been to chili cook offs, Halloween parties and a Thanksgiving dinner at the upstairs restaurant in the short time shes been there. Believe me Id live there if I ever had to. Nanette made the whole process of getting her admitted effortless. I thank her for her kindness and quick friendship. I am so grateful to everyone for taking such good care of someone so special to me! ??

We moved my Dad to Brandywine after he spent 5 years at another assisted living facility. Because of the attentiveness from ALL of the staff his move was seamless. The attention to details, like making sure his name was on his apartment plaque and that the cable hookup was ready to go made all the difference. My Dad is much happier and tells me daily how much he likes living at Brandywine. Nanette Bergin was amazing with helping with all the questions and paperwork. We were able to have furniture delivered prior to my Dad moving in. The facility is well maintained and everyone is very friendly. I haven't seen my Dad so relaxed and happy in years. I highly recommend Brandywine.

Brandywine ia a loving and caring facility. Making the decision to take my mother out of her home was very difficult. I studied many facilities in the area and was most impressed with Brandywine. Although she was not happy in leaving her home, my mother adjusted quickly and now considers Brandywine her "home". The staff is attentive, kind and caring. The facility is beautiful, very well maintained, comfortable, and cozy. The activities foster community and diversity, encouraging participation of family and friends.
