My Dad was a resident in the Compass Unit for three years until his passing. He really like Farmington Station and all the staff treated him special. All the nurses in the Compass unit always kept my family informed about my Dad. I think Lindsey Executive Director is a great addition to Farmington Station. I want to thank Lindsey and the staff for all the good care they gave my Dad over those three years.

A beautiful complex with kind, caring and compassionate staff. Abundant opportunities to socialize, interact and participate in fun activities. Our family was always made to feel welcome. It brought us immeasurable peace of mind knowing our father was safe and happy. I would highly recommend.

We have been so Blessed to be able to call The Farmington Station Mom and Dad's home. When our loved one's can no longer manage for themselves, we have to depend on and trust others to do it for us. We have been with The Station since January 21. From independent living to managed care in the Compass Memory Care Unit. I visit several times per week, so I get to see firsthand the level and more importantly consistency of care The Station provides. It's a newer building, very clean and well maintained and the Maintenace department is on top of every need a family may have. Jessica, The Executive Director is Top Notch. She demands excellence from her entire staff, she leads by example, and you can see how her team respects and loves to work for her and our loved ones. Over the last year I have gotten to know so many people that work there, they become your second family. Both mom and dad are now in memory care, and one would have to wonder how you keep Dementia Residents active and engaged? Luke, who is the Director of Compass Programing is amazing. Every day I see this man put together programs, entertainment, awards and recognition to strive to keep the family engaged and busy, he is relentless in his pursuit and his love for his craft is on display everyday he is there. And for the nursing staff, God Bless all of them. The Station has developed a top-notch staff and they truly care for the residents and their needs. I Absolutely recommend The Farmington Station.

The staff is top notch they have taken very good care of my Dad since arriving over two years ago. He has Dementia and the Compass facility has been instrumental in helping my father in many aspects of this disease. He is always clean and well kept along with his living quarters it is a very well run facility that cares about its residents

Memory Care is not Care at all. My loved one was neglected in this facility. The staff that was supposed to care for her and help her get dressed, bathe, etc did not do that. They left her naked from the waste down in dirty soiled sheets. When we told them that she was naked from the waste down the employee laughed and stated that she tried to get her dress yesterday. (what????) The room smelled so bad like urine that even with a mask on it was horrible. The room was so dirty and unsanitary. The whole staff tried to blame my loved one with alzheimers. I am sorry but your job is to care, and protect the residence. Alzheimer's patients can be difficult. Maybe you should hire professional staff and trained staff for memory care. The abuse my loved one endured ( by seeing how she was kept) was horrific. It was ABUSE. no accountability by staff or higher ups. The staff that was there when it was Atria was leaving left and right. The temps that came in and out did not care at all about the residents in memory care. The staff that stayed when Atria was sold became cold. I would hate for this to happen to another human with alzheimer's. The are still people and need care and respect. The should be treated with dignity. They should be helped as the staff is paid to do. they should under no circumstance say that it is the patients fault for being difficult. they are loosing their minds. It is your job to treat them like the humans they are. she is now in another facility. Clean, cared for and loved. She is dressed every day and her bed is clean and made. She is out participating in activities and not being left alone in her room being ignored and having her food dropped in her room with no supervision to make sure she ate it. She is smiling. So are we.

Farmington Station Staff, I wanted to congratulate you all and thank you for being the true heroes that you are. You all have done a great job keeping our loved ones safe, during this difficult time. I would also like to thank Frank for keeping us informed and always answering any questions that we have. In addition I would like to thank Ana for her kind and caring demeanor with all the residents. I have witnessed her interact with many residents including my loved one. We love Farmington Station. The ladies at the front desk are always smiling and friendly whether youre coming or going. They chat with my Mom when I take her out for dinner and are happy when she steals their mints. My Mom is in the Compass Care unit. Her room is big and bright with a wall to wall window that she can look out every day and see mother nature, or wave at the people trekking past on the half mile path that goes around the building. Curtains and artwork and mirrors were hung for us, and done really quickly so she felt at home as soon as possible. It is always so clean and the staff is very friendly and knew from day one who I belonged to when I visited. The common areas are decorated for whatever holiday, and even the staff dresses up. Christmas was so joyful. Colorful plates and cups are set at the tables and they use cloth napkins. Better than I get at home. There is a monthly calendar displayed of all the daily activities. Every day is filled. They tell me my Mom is a really good bowler – true its Wii bowling but my Mom? Bowling? Shes doing things we would never expect. Heres what sold us. As we were touring the facility with Frank he was greeted by everyone – staff and residents – and he called each of them by name. That meant to us that he was not just a sales guy in the front office. One couple even stopped us to tell us this was the third place they had tried and was the best. In the Compass Care unit the four women seated at the first dining table were more than happy to tell me how they loved it there. I have five siblings and I think we all emailed or texted Frank frequently in that first month. He responded to all of us with patience and reassurance and he still is to this day. Farmington Station has been uber sensitive with the COVID-19 protocols and have kept the families informed every week of their policies and practices. There is never a feeling that my Mom isnt safe. Thank you all at Farmington Station for keeping my Mom happy and healthy

I just want to thank all of the staff at Farmington Station for their hard work, and understanding. My mother was hurt in a fall, and was dead set against going to a senior living residence, and after a few months here, she is having fun with her new friends, and has decided to stay for a while! I love that even during this terrible time, the staff is still finding ways to keep the residents busy and having fun, with sing alongs and music and movies outdoors on the patio. Thank you, Farmington Station, for all that you do for my mom!

A wonderful place ! My parents, both in their 90s, have lived at Farmington Station (formerly Atria Farmington) since May 2018. It has been a perfect home for them, and I feel it has added years to their lives. Everything is taken care of as this beautiful assisted living facility in Farmington, Connecticut ~ delicious meals three times daily in a lovely dining room; aides to help around the clock with all sorts of needs; a primary care doctor who comes to their apartment for appointments; 125 residents to socialize with; a full day of stimulating and interesting activities, including many musical performances; a friendly, helpful and dedicated staff; and a comfortable and clean place to live. My parents are happy, and our entire family couldnt be more delighted. ~Sue Jensen, daughter

We are so pleased with the care and attention my Mom is receiving there in their Compass Unit, their memory care unit. The staff are attentive, professional, and friendly. Frank Rende is a great ambassador and is always there to answer questions.

Beautiful facility, everyone is very nice but I personally found their memory care "Life Guidance" neighborhood to not be one size fits all. If your elderly loved one tends to get agitated or be a handful this facility is not equipped to handle that.

There are not enough superlative's to describe the supportive, caring and compassionate attitude of all the employees at this facility. The facility itself provides a calming, soothing atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious! A special "thank you " goes out to Ann, Frank, Jill, Vicki, Jim and Chef Michael. You helped to make a very difficult life change into a smooth transition. We could not have done this without you. Special people taking care of special people!

We moved my mom into The Landing last week. Everyone is very compassionate and caring...it's a dream come true for us kids as we were so worried about mom at home alone. I know that mom will have a wonderful, safe, and peaceful 'rest-of-life' at The Landing Memory Care Unit. Thank you to all.
