Our parents moved into Keystone Place at Legacy Ridge five years ago, in both independent and later, assisted living. After our mom passed, our father enjoyed being part of the full calendar of events and especially the dining hall! The staff were warm and friendly professionals. Many stopped by to offer our family their condolences after our father's passing. We can't praise the Keystone staff highly enough!

If you are reading this you are probably starting the journey of the next chapter of your love one's life where they may be in need of more services. Look no more. My mother and I chose Keystone as an option for her care ahead of when she might need it. By the time she entered Keystone she needed the services provided by assisted living. For us, at times, this was a hard journey. Keystone has been there for every step of the way both for my mother and for me. Shalita Allen, Director of Health & Wellness could not possibly run a tighter ship. She handled every situation with my mother with respect and dignity. Her day, night and weekend care teams are phenomenal and I was in awe of how they dealt with very challenging issues with my mother. You will not find a better care team anywhere. They are simply phenomenal, all of them. Shalita herself stepped in at every turn with creative plans always anticipating and solving issues. Kim Morgan Director of Operations always available, always upbeat and I'm pretty sure always doing work that wasn't hers to do but always willing to help. The front desk staff helpful, friendly and caring. We didn't have to work with Melissa Ward, Executive Director much because she has created a such a strong team system it runs effortlessly. My mother has now passed and I wanted to share our experience. I will forever have found memories of Keystone and my ability to have quality time with my mother because the people at Keystone let me be her daughter and not her care taker. Thank you Keystone.

My parents found the perfect community to call home when they chose Keystone Place! They loved living there and found the staff and residents so friendly and wonderful. It is a beautiful, cheerful, and professional environment to live in. Melissa Ward leads a fabulous team of compassionate, capable, exceptional professionals who daily make a positive impact on the lives of our loved ones who are placed in their care. Our family recently placed a beloved family member into assisted living at Keystone Place at Legacy Ridge in Westminster, CO and it was the best decision we ever made. To begin, our family cared for our loved one for over five years in our home so the transition was not easy. Keystone made the transition smooth and effortless with their simp,e kindness and caring for all the individuals that choose to make it their home. From the Executive Director to the Management staff in charge of admissions, moves, wellness and health, culinary delights and more. It was evident from day one that they care, are responsive and involved with each resident, and are dedicated to the highest quality of service not found at other communities. Keystone stands out as your home away from home, with pristine facilities, expert staff, all nestled within the beautiful mountain views that only CO can provide. My mother was only at Keystone for a few months but I have to say that it was a phenomenal experience. I knew that she was being checked on and taken care of very well and often and I really appreciated being able to visit her at any time and also I was able to call in at any time and staff would always respond to me. Management was very friendly & knowledgeable and they'd quite often give me updates on her! I wish I could have kept her there longer but she needed more care.

We moved my husband's mother to the independent living side of Keystone at Legacy Ridge in July of 2016 at age 100. After an expected adjustment to a new home after 53 years in the same house, she embraced her new environment for the next four years. Keystone had just the right amount of activity. She enjoyed not having to cook her own dinner anymore but also enjoyed having her kitchen for when she wanted to open a can of soup or scramble a couple eggs. In August of 2020 it was apparent she needed more help and Keystone could not have been more helpful in getting her moved into an assisted living apartment-even in the midst of the pandemic. We appreciated the facility's willingness to work with us as she declined, recognizing the need for family presence in a safe manner as we navigated the time with hospice involvement. Keystone was a wonderful experience for us and the management was always great to work with. The staff was kind and loving while still professional throughout the mostly wonderful times and the expected difficult times. Thank you, Keystone!

Outstanding! I placed my trust in this facility during the height of Covid to help assist my twin sister. The community is compassionate and treats every resident as one of their own. Communication for the most part was great. Many thanks to the executive director, Melissa. I appreciate you listening to me and compromising when possible. Special thanks goes out to Shalita the director of nursing. Your wisdom, compassion and transparency helped guide me through exceptionally difficult times. I would be remiss if I didnt mention Emma and Jule in concierge. Theyre both amazing and do a great job of keeping every thing running smoothly. Emma, you could make me smile on the worst of days! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Keystone Place at Legacy Ridge is as a place for an elderly relative! After looking at 13 places in 2015 I moved my Dad from a place in Texas to Keystone Place.. Best thing I could have done! The staff are caring, hardworking, compassionate,and they care about not only their residents, but the families of the residents. You cannot find a more loving facility that is clean, a value for your money, good food, and great activities for the residents in the North Denver area.And no, I do not work there, I just have seen and lived the experience these past 4 years of my Dad living out his last years in the best place possible!

After looking at 9 different assisted living facilities over a year, we were welcomed home to Keystone Place. From the very first visit, to move in day, I could not have asked for more. My mom is 87 years old and was very, very reluctant to move. The employees are everything I could ask for and so much more. They encourage my mom , are so very patient with her and actually want to see her thrive. They are also very kind to me and our family. Moving your loved one is difficult to say the least, but my mom and I have been so supported by everyone here. The food is very good and there are so many choices. There are activities and outings, and specialists that come right to moms cute apartment. I seriously could not have asked for a more kind, comforting and caring place for mom. There should be no hesitation when considering Keystone Place for your loved one.

It is the best with there staff and caring help. They make you feel a part of a community family caring about the people living there and taking care of their needs. They have special events and have fun activities a nice dinning area where they can enjoy a menu and social life. The caregivers don't just do their job they really care about each person. I have visited several times and always feel welcome - enjoyed some of the events and have seen how much they do 🙂

My mother and I were lucky enough to be part of the Keystone family for 4 ½ years. It probably sounds a little funny to call an independent living/assisted living community a family but that is exactly what it is. My mother moved to Keystone on February 28, 2011. She lived in independent living for 3 years and then transferred to assisted living on March 1, 2014. The Independent Living building is beautiful and the apartments are spacious. There is a lovely dining room with very attentive wait staff. The concierge desk is staffed 24 hours with friendly, helpful staff and maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. When my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease I approached Kent Mulkey, Executive Director, with questions about what my mother's life might be like if she needed to transition to Assisted Living. He assured me that all of her needs would be met in Assisted Living and that he believed they would be able to care for her there to the end of her life. Kent is an amazing administrator and he has assembled an incredible team of professionals to care for residents in both Independent and Assisted Living. Beginning with the Community Relations team of Kathy Rogers & Gail Loveland, and the Director of Operations, Melissa Ward, residents and families are cared for every step of the way Transitioning from Independent Living to Assisted Living was difficult for my Mom. However, the staff of the Assisted Living building did absolutely everything they could to help her. Shannon Kissinger, Director of Wellness, is extremely knowledgeable, kind and completely focused on residents' comfort and safety. She has also gathered an amazing team of health care professionals and resident assistants to keep residents healthy and happy. Medications were administered professionally and on time. When Mom was feeling sad or lonely there was always someone on staff who would take the time to sit and chat and make sure that she felt better. As her abilities declined, staff was always available to step up and make sure she had what she needed. Daisy Darnell and her Activities team ensure activities are varied and geared toward resident's wants or needs. There are 2 lovely buses to take residents out to doctor appointments, activities and restaurants. All holidays are marked with special celebrations and families are always welcome. Housekeeping and maintenance are professionally handled by Steve Lester and his staff. The grounds and the buildings are well maintained and lovely. The courtyard is a beautiful place to stroll, meet with a friend or watch the ducks in the pond. The Concierge staff (led by Melissa Ward) are just incredible and the love that they have for each resident is evident with each interaction. My mother passed away in May 2015. The end of her life came in the comfortable surroundings of her lovely apartment. She was cared for by a combination of Agape Hospice and the wonderful staff of Keystone Place. My family and I were free to focus on the most important thing—caring for our mother in her final days. I can't even count the number of Keystone staff who came in (even on their days off) to comfort Mom and do everything possible to ease our pain and help her. I truly felt that each and every one of them was a member of my family. I cannot imagine a better place for any of us to have been in. If you are looking for a loving, caring place for your loved one, you have definitely found it if you choose Keystone Place.
