My 91 year old father was in Skilled Nursing for 5 weeks at Balfour. He needed both medical and physical attention. The entire staff was professional, warm, and friendly. We are so grateful to Balfour for taking such good care of him. Their care and attention helped him get well enough to move back home. My dad said his time at Balfour was "perfect." Thank you for taking such good care of my dad!

My mother has been at the Lavender for almost 6 months and so far the experience has been great. She loves the dining options and has been very active in the daily activities. The staff are very friendly and know all the residents by their first name.

I want to share what a great experience we have had getting my mother moved in and comfortable at Balfour. First we needed to determine what kind of environment she needed (which wasn't so easy) and then to make her transition to this new life a positive experience. From the beginning McKenna and other staff listened to our needs, asked really good questions, and helped us find the best situation for her. The move in went really well, everyone was very nice and supportive and welcoming. The food is great, the staff is nice, the setting is comfortable and safe. We are so glad we found such a great home for her and know she is in good hands. Thank you.

The staff is great - very helpful, almost always greeting me by name. The food needs improvement. Salmon and vegetables are sometimes over-done. Some healthier options like brown rice would be great. The WiFI is awful in assisted living - doesn't support WiFi calling reliably and my expensive new TV doesn't stream anything. The WiFi equipment is totally obsolete.`For what residents pay to stay here, this should have been fixed years ago! (A fix is promised sometime after January 1. We'll see!)

Clearly no one should let their loved ones reside at a senior community that allows harm, death and situations of anguish toward residents and family. Sad. That must be why Balfour charges so much, because they need to have their own legal defense team.

Everyone has places they visit but when seeing my friend, I met the front person that takes your temperature and I've never been treated better. Very organized and we'll dressed too! My friend says this place is good and agrees with me about the front staff. That's your first impression and she's great! Update: Her name was Amber. Thank you!
