Balfour is a beautiful place that offers a great environment with a staff that's conscientious about watching over their residents. If you need help finding a place for a family member, Heather Keyes is great at what she does. Heather helped answer all of our questions and provided great awareness to help make the decisions my parents needed to make for their future.

The Lodge at Balfour has been a lifesaver for us. They opened up their arms to us as we searched for accommodations that would work for us after the Marshall fire. My husband is confined to a wheel chair and the Independent Living at the Lodge works! He is happy here, I can take care of him here and best of all, there is so much to do and so many friendly and helpful staff and residents that we have been able to maintain a positive outlook inspire of all we lost in the fire. Everything from water aerobics classes to wonderful meals are outstanding. We don't have anything to criticize because if an issue comes up, all we have to do is mention t and it is resolved immediately. All in all, It is a pleasure for me to highly recommend theLodge at Balfour as an outstanding Senior Living facility ! We love it!

You may find gourmet food and lovely amenities in other senior communities, but there is one thing you will not find anywhere except at Balfour Independent Living. We have a transportation system that makes it very easy to stop driving... the one thing that most people in our demographics put off as long as we can. Balfour has a team of drivers and a fleet of cars and vans so that between eight in the morning and four in the afternoon, Monday through Friday, you not only can be taken to doctors appointments and the grocery store, you can go wherever you want to go within range. Add that to a very loving, caring staff and residents who look out for each other and become family. You can choose to be alone, or you can choose to be with others, and you will never want for something fun and/or educational to do. Having lived here for almost 5 years, I can say, I always look forward to coming home to Balfour.--
