I recommend this place for your loved one to come live at however, my experience here as an employee was definitely not worth it & don't recommend applying at all. The staff isn't very nice once you get to know them & see what kind of respect they have for you even when you're just trying to help out & keep the residents happy. You can work for tips somewhere else instead for free here.

We highly recommend Lakewood Senior Living. Our mother lived there for 8 months and was very happy with the facility. The place is clean and well-appointed. the food is good, and we cannot say enough about the friendly and helpful staff. They have a lot of enriching activities for their residents.

I highly recommend Lakeview Senior Living. My dad lived there for about six years and really enjoyed his time there. Lakeview is a vibrant community with interesting residents. The building - including all of the common areas - is very nice and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and caring - from the front desk to the dining room to housekeeping. Renee and Kelly are outstanding and very caring leaders of the community. The activities are excellent (the program is led by Karen who does a great job). Dad always enjoyed the exercise classes (there is a first rate work out facility on site) as well as the many and varied word games (like crossword puzzle, marvelous minds and humongous words). There are two active book clubs as well as lots of different outings and special events (like Fathers Day for example). The dining staff does a good job with creating a varied menu and tasty meals (and special events like Mothers Day brunch). All of these things really enriched Dads life and we enjoyed participating in them with him as well. Thanks to all at Lakeview for the great work you do. We so enjoyed being part of the community.

Good website with lots of information. The tour was informative without entirely repeating what wed seen on the website. Lunch was great, and the residents who introduced themselves and chatted with us were the best. A comfortable, inviting place.

Our father ended up needing an assisted living facility because of a back injury that he sustained during our selection process that had narrowed to Lakeview Senior Living. Lakeview was a modern, clean, attractive building. During our visits, the staff was attentive and friendly and, most importantly, the residents seemed happy! The event calendar provided many opportunities for interaction between the residents and there seemed to be plenty of staff interaction as well. Lakeview would be a solid choice for anyone wishing to live in a senior living community.

Lakeview is amazing! The staff is welcoming and helpful. The facility is beautiful. My Mom had no interest in Independent Living until she took a tour. She fell in love with it immediately, moved in right away and is ecstatically happy. The food is varied and delicious and the wait staff is very accommodating to preferences. Most of all Mom loves the friendly and interesting residents. Its a great relief to know that she is cared about and happy!

I cant say enough about the wonderful staff, facility, and community at Lakeview Senior Living! It was big step for my father to move out of the condo he has lived in the past 15 years, to a senior living apartment setting - yet everyone at the Lakeview community was helpful, kind, encouraging, supportive and attentive to him (and me!) as we made the transition. The positive energy, the professional yet very personable attitude of all who work there - from the executive director and front desk to dining room staff to maintenance and housekeeping - is apparent from the moment you walk in the door. It is a refreshing change from many other senior living facilities. Dad raves about how good the food is. Every time I come to visit or just drop in, there are happy residents engaged in some activity or another with the director of fun and her staff fully engaged with them! My dad and I will ever be grateful to the friend who recommended Lakeview Senior Living to us. After visiting many other places, the minute we walked in the front door, this felt like home. And it now is!

My mother lived at Lakeview from April 2010 to Feb 2016. Unfortunately since that time she needed a higher level of care and moved to an extended care facility. Shortly after being in her new facility (WINDCREST) she was asked by the resident doctor how they could make her more comfortable. She emphatically responded by saying I want to go home. He said oh, back to your California home, she said no, I want to go back to Lakeview - thats my home. We cant say enough about the staff at Lakeview. They were all so caring and kind - clearly an organization with primary focus on people, people and people!!! and not money, money and money. Our mother passed on Dec 9th 2017, but we will always be gratefull for the ideal environment and home she found at lakeview. Thanks so much Rene, Kelly, Darah, Monica and the fantastic restaurant staff - we really miss your great family holiday events.

Ive been a musician and entertainer for seniors in assisted living, memory care and independent facilities for seven years and have performed in many facilities in the Denver area. Ive observed them all and I find that Lakeview Senior Living is one of the best there is. In fact Spectrum as a whole is great. The staff at Lakeview are all so friendly, helpful and professional with everyone that they come in contact with. This facility is truly a place that I would love to retire in myself.

Our family has truly enjoyed the housing provided by Lakewood Senior Living for my mother, Charlotte Schaffer. They have cared for her when needed and given her very respectful attention. They food and entertainment has been much better then other institutions. Lakewood Senior Living gets an A for the housing and services provided.

Lakeview Senior Living is a beautifully well maintained property with very friendly staff and residents. For the purposes of this review I will speak specifically about Kelly and Denise. My wife and I had an appointment with each one of these ladies. It was evident from the moment we met they were friendly, professional and very informative. It felt good to speak with folks who not only understood what our needs were, but more important they explained in a no nonsense way how Lakeview is prepared to meet our needs. Quite honestly we felt if my father in law were to move to Lakeview, a peaceful nights sleep would no longer be a rarity for my wife and I. I can say without hesitation if you, a loved one or a friend is seeking an affordable independent retirement community with plenty of activities call Kelly or Denise at Lakeview. Dont wait....do it now! Set up an appointment and visit Lakeview. Youll be glad you took the time.

My mom has lived here for one year. She loves it. The food is excellent, with great variety. They have the nicest people ever on their staff. There are a lot of activities, mom chooses not to do most. It is independent living so she can do what she wants.

Our mother Louise is 92 and has lived at Lakeview Senior Living for almost a year now. She did not want to live at a senior living center and fought us for several years. Now she tells my sister and I every day that she absolutely loves living at Lakeview Senior Living and that we should have brought her here a long time ago. She feels very comfortable and secure here.

After the passing of my Dad, my Mom enjoyed living alone; After a year however, she was just existing in her home. Same breakfast, maybe go out to lunch, eating frozen foods for dinner and watching T.V. all afternoon and into the evening. And would start over again the next day. She needed to be social, she loves people. Mom never thought of moving into a Independent Senior Living. My family picked out a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath spacious apartment. We had it completely decorated with her favorite things. The day she moved in was the first day she saw her apartment. Wow, was she excited. She immediately referred to it as her home. Since moving into Lakeview she has never been happier and her days are so full. She excercises 3 times a week, plays pinnacle almost daily. She loves to utilize the hair salon for all her beauty needs, she enjoys attending the various socials events thru out the week. The entire staff at Lakeview are an amazing group of people. Everyone of them love working at the community, Lakeview is not a large community therefore everyone pretty much knows one another. Mom has been there about 3 months now and worried she will gain wait because of the delicious meals. The meals are outstanding! Its one of the reasons I like to volunteer. I really enjoy helping out the staff and the residents. They make me LOL. Its truly a wonderful place.

We toured Lakeview when looking for a place for my Mom. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable; the place looked great and my mom thought it looked like a place shed like to live! The apartments are roomy, have closet space and large bathrooms. The dining area was comfortable and clean. We ate lunch there and enjoyed the meal tremendously. A few residents came up and said hi, which made my mom feel pretty good. As an independent living facility, Id highly recommend this place. They have plenty of activities and transportation. Our Mother has been at Lakeview for almost 3 years now and it has been the perfect place for her. She has some special needs and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate her. When she is feeling good she enjoys going to the dining room and visiting with friends. Getting to keep her cats Scooter and Smoky keeps her going. Knowing she is in a safe secure facility with staffing 24, 7 give peace of mind to her daughters. Overall I would say Lakeview goes above and beyond to meet our mothers needs.
