Thank you to everyone at Sunrise who took care of my father when he stayed there in 2024. Although we had some initial challenges with our own expectations, my father was able to settle in and he was given very great care (especially by the Care Manager, Victoria). After his death, we found out that he had Long Term Care Insurance. Both Victoria and Sabrina (office manager) were able to get all the documents to the insurance company so that some of his time at Sunrise could be reimbursed. 5 Stars for the Staff at Sunrise!! Thank you so much!!

My mother has been a memory care resident here for a couple of years. While it's very difficult watching her continued decline, the care she receives on a daily basis is very comforting to her family. Her caregivers treat her (and I) with respect and dignity regardless of her mood and condition. They are quite simply an amazing team and we are so grateful for them. Several of them enjoy doting over my mom's hair. She often has elaborate braids or buns. That's a personal touch that I love. Thank you!

When I first moved my mother and my aunt into the facility I felt a sense of compassion for their individual needs. Recently when my aunt passed away in the facility because of natural causes I was reacquainted with that warmth of compassion again. My mother considered moving to a different facility however because of the warmth of the staff and her friend's here at Sunrise at Pinehurst she has decided to remain here. Thank you. Matt

I have toured this community for my grandmother, who is at a point of needing assistance. I was elated to hear that the care is customized to the needs of my grandmother and not generalized based on the needs of the rest of the community. The employees were professional and friendly. I absolutely loved the building. There was furniture set up throughout the building and gorgeous rooms, which made it feel like home. I also thought the new renovations were appealing. This is definitely somewhere I would want to have my loved ones stay.

We have recently needed to place my Mother into Assisted Living due to issues of her getting older and certainly with the onset of dementia and memory loss. As an RN of 25 years, I have some high expectations for a living situation for my family and Sunrise at Pinehurst has met and certainly exceeded those expectations in every way. The entire staff is accommodating, friendly and caring to residents and families alike. The community is clean and orderly to a fault. The medical staff of Angela and Zae are professional and extremely caring to all residents as well. The food service is thoughtful and well presented. Overall, I am more than pleased with the care, oversight and professionalism of every aspect of Sunrise at Pinehurst. ‚

Sunrise at Pinehurst is an incredible community! It gives you the good "feels" as soon as you walk in. Not only is it beautiful, it's also cozy. It just feels like home. The staff at Sunrise at Pinehurst is top notch. The managers have all remained in place for years which creates a wonderful culture. The staff love what they do and it shows in their interactions with the residents and each other. I highly recommend.

Sunrise at Pinehurst is impeccable!! The staff work very hard and learn individual routines for each person that lives there. They understand aging , and they make sure to pay attention to the small things. The care staff have been there for years and are dedicated workers.

A breath of fresh air after so many years of mediocre care at other facilities. The staff is well trained and compassionate. It was the first time in years that I could sleep at night and know my mom's needs were met.

Expensive compared to other places nearby. Family member here for just over two years. Some problems during the first six months or so, that have gotten better. (For example: Bed wasn't being made and room wasn't cleaned with the schedule we were told they were.) Clothes still go missing. Also, I have been extremely disappointed that they don't honor veterans. All veterans deserve recognition but I feel like a WWII vet is a big deal. They are dying off fast. There's only a short amount of time to honor them WHILE THEY'RE STILL ALIVE or still alert enough to appreciate it. The place he lived previously made a big deal for the veterans. It was very special for him. Maybe this bothers me because he has no children, and very limited family. I just think WWII vets are a big deal and we should make Veterans Day a big deal for them.

The staff at Sunrise is hard-working and kind. The management team has a heart for the work they do. You can feel how much everyone cares when you walk into Sunrise. Compassion and kindness is what you look for when making these difficult and trying decisions and this team has it in spades. The facility is well run, clean and efficient. Highly recommend!

When you need a comfortable place for your elderly loved one, THIS IS IT!!! I've been a nurse for 30 yrs and teach for a Denver nursing college. I've been bringing my Nursing Students to this community for almost a year. The staff are amazing and truly care for this population. The healthcare workers and their nursing staff go above and beyond for this community. They have an incredible chef and kitchen staff who are really invested in the residents' nutritional needs. The food is made to order in a beautiful dining room and made from scratch, it's delicious!! The whole building has been remodeled and beautiful to fit the residents' lifestyles. There are many scheduled activities to choose from daily!! Did I mention the food is delicious..lol The Director of this community is fun, energetic, and dedicated to her staff. I wouldn't hesitate to place a loved one here knowing all their needs would be met.

Of all the assisted living communities in the Denver, Sunrise at Pinehurst is the most attentive to its residents. I've found it to feel more like home than other large communities. What really makes it special is the care staff and wellness nurses. They have been with the community for years, are dependable and always seem to genuinely want to be at work. If you're looking for an assisted living community where you or your loved one won't get lost in the crown, this is the place.

My mom was a resident at Pinehurst for an extended period of time and throughout her stay her care was top notch. She was treated with compassion and kindness and her caregivers were professional, friendly and helpful as she moved through the "end of life" stages. The facility reflected the values, experience and professionalism of the Executive Director, Samantha Archibald. If a loved one is in a need of the services provided by Sunrise you should give them a call. You will not be disappointed.

As you know, the thought of placing a parent in assisted care is extremely stressful. Especially when the parent is against the idea. You have questions like..."Where do we go?", Who do we trust?", "Will they be cared for?". These questions and more were questions that caused us a lot of anxiety, fear and even some guilt. Fortunately, we had friends who spoke highly of Sunrise, because of their experience. Still to some degree we wanted to see for ourselves, that is until we sat down with the director, Samantha. Her kindness, empathy, understanding and wisdom let us know that her and her team at Sunrise would take care of Dad in the way we would take care of him. And it's so true. The team at Sunrise at Pinehurst took care of Dad and our family. The team made the lives of our family manageable at an incredibly stressful time. Even Dad knew he was in not good, but GREAT hands. The care on the part of all staff was just what the doctor ordered, to allow our family to rest easy at night. Knowing our loved one was himself being loved and treated with the attention he deserved was comforting. We've written some pretty complimentary words and they are all true. Our family knows, the caring, gentle, patient support that exists at Pinehurst is an attitude. It comes from the top! For us Samantha is the best director that any family could wish to have. I have had nonetheless of an incredible experience, working with Sunrise. From the start of working with their admissions team who got back with me, quickly, explained rates and care in a warm way, to the longevity of their staff...some of who have been there for decades. I would highly recommend this facility for their loved ones. The recently demoed and the reconstruction of the building is complete. Not to mention, gorgeous and makes you feel like you are in a southern bed and breakfast. Look no further for IL, AL, or memory care.

Staff is rude and unprofessional. You have to ring a doorbell to come in and when they don’t feel like answering the door, they shut the doorbell off, which happened more often than it should. There are used masks littered all over the floors. This is not the place I would ever leave a loved one. Disgusting

Its now been two years since my Mom has been at SUNRISE at Pinehurst,5 STARS continues from our family!! Shes always been in the memory care neighborhood. Were in the middle of the worst Pandemic since 1918 - everyone at Sunrise is NEGATIVE and is tested on going. They were one of the first facilities to lock down and clean, masks were required before it was popular. Thank you, for keeping my Mom safe!!The Director, staff, medical, supervisors, caregivers, activities folks, chefs, drivers are with NO hesitation, the best one could ask for. Every effort you put forth, is so appreciated! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!There are HEROS working here, Old post...We moved my Mom into the memory area at Sunrise Pinehurst about 8 months ago. I have to share, this place exceeded our expectations. Everyone, from the caregivers, management, directors and nursing staff are incredible This is a professionally run place, it shows! I stop in about every few days, my mom is clean, happy, always doing some activity - in fact, shes dramatically improved in all areas since moving in. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the folks working there. They are good at what they do, and they enjoy it - thus, our mother benefits. Love yall! Thank you, Sunrise!

Memory Care was far better care than the Assisted Living part of Sunrise at Pinehurst. Most of the staff was kind and loving and near the end became like family to my parents.

I hope I dont have to change this review, but so far the helpful nurses at Sunrise at Pinehurst have been patient and amazing as they have helped me transfer my mother from out of state, way better than any others I have called and met with. They know I am overwhelmed and they have explained everything every step of the way

I think the parking situation is getting fixed. I have to say, however, that when it comes to rating senior care facilities, parking is pretty far down on my list. What matters to me is the competency and heart of the staff. Having moved my mom from Wind Crest, Erickson and Brookdale, both of which had serious management problems and varying levels of caregiver competency, I was blown away by the staff at Pinehurst at Sunrise. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
