Been a terrific experience for my nearly 80 year old mother. The start was stressful- as was CLEARLY and CAREFULLY explained- and since those first transitional months- the good days have far surpassed the bad ones. Long tenured, caring, passionate staff are amazing. This place is not overly fancy (no grand piano, fireplace, swimming pool or crystal chandelier) but it is homey...and the little community my mom has found is worth it 100%. Other Assisted Livings can have all the fancy bells and whistles (cost twice as much- and say "We Care More")but at the end of the day Sunrise at Cherry Creek epitomizes care done right. Much appreciated!

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for the team at Sunrise Senior Living. From day one, the staff has treated my friend John with genuine compassion, dignity, humor, and kindness ” not just as a resident, but as family. Dana Gill has gone far above and beyond helping navigate difficult insurance and financial questions, even taking the initiative to make calls and help find solutions personally. Samantha Archibald brings incredible leadership, professionalism, humor, and efficiency, and always seems to know exactly how to help. Chanel is truly one of the brightest lights in the building ” welcoming, caring, positive, and always willing to help with absolutely anything. I also want to especially recognize Angela and the clinical staff. The care and attention they’ve given John has been remarkable, especially with the severe swelling he was experiencing in his legs. The improvement has honestly been amazing and has made such a difference in both his health and comfort. What impresses me most is the culture of care throughout the entire community. The CNAs and clinical staff don’t just do their jobs ” they laugh with residents, joke with them, encourage them, and truly care about them as people. You can feel the humanity and compassion the moment you walk through the doors. I went to an event there and was impressed by how clean the facility was, and I liked the atmosphere.There was no nursing home smell in the halls, and the staff I met and talked to were friendly and kind to the residents. I loved talking with some of the residents- when asked, they said they are lhappy with where they were living. It is a very nice community.

When I first came into a sunrise, I was very AMAZED by how there was a lot going on and how active the residents were, and how they have a new full schedule of activities designed to engage with the residents everyday. The smell of fresh baked cookies and the FRESH POPCORRN they pop everyday is a must grab! I love coming back to sunrise because it gives a very warm welcoming vibe and every staff here are incredibly awesome, hard working and treats the residents as if they were one of their own family members here. Sunrise won my heart 8 years ago when I moved my dad cross country from Michigan. Fast forward to 2025. No matter the Sunrise community, you can count on a balance of the inviting warmth of home with the smell of fresh baked cookies and a full schedule of activities designed to engage and delight residents. What I love about this location are the people. Happy and well cared for residents because of this incredible team. What sets Sunrise apart are the caretakers. Robbie, Brittany , and Jenny Lee are amazing as are all the rest! I’ve seen several assisted living facilities and Sunrise has the best staff. Many workers have been there for several years, which says a lot about the facility.

Many of the staff members have been at this community for several years. The staff is so patient and caring with the residents, especially the amazing memory care staff. The executive director is very capable and personable. Angela and Tatiana (nursing staff) are so responsive and helpful with patient needs. Truly a great place to provide home health care.

Cherry Creek on Colorado Boulevard is definitely the place to be if you can no longer be in your own home! My sister has been there since June and has adjusted very well with the tender care and compassion of the staff. Moving from your home is not easy no matter the circumstances, but especially difficult if your only family is from out of state. The staff at Cherry Creek has gone above and beyond to make my sister welcome there. I find the staff very helpful with the long distance communication as well. They know the importance of keeping family informed. Sunrise Cherry Creek is a beautiful, clean and well kept facility that offers so many activities and fun things for the residents to do. When I first toured it, I knew it was the right fit for my sister and that she would like it. Fine dining as well! Definitely recommending!

I visit this facility regularly as a home health provider, and I am always impressed. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive, and it’s clear they genuinely know and value the residents. The building is consistently clean and well-maintained, and there’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The caregivers here are not only supportive and compassionate but many have been with the facility for years, which speaks volumes about the environment and the quality of care provided. Mom was well cared for by the most authentically, compassionate staff you will ever meet, until her passing one week ago. She stated that if she could not die at home, Sunrise, Cherry Creek was the next best place. Questions that arose were responded to quickly. Staff treated not only mom, yet us as family. I did not want to exclude any names of these beautiful staff members who tended to her care and asked for a list of names prior to leaving. ED: Samantha, Stormy, Angela, Tatyana, Broda, April, Helen, Fatou, Fortee, Tiru, Bebe, Robby, Elza, Liz, Maria O, Melody, Chanelle, Marcinne, Greg, Jenna, Brittany, Dana, Maria, Tracy and all great food prep and serving staff. I do sincerely hope I did not leave anyone out and would add to this review any other names as this staff is that good! If you are looking to place your loved one anywhere when they can no longer live safely at home, this is the place! God Bless each and every one of these extraordinary folks!

All of the staff was wonderful to my father. The food and menu was great. There’s plenty of space for visiting. They were always welcoming, even when grandkids were visiting and acting like grandkids 😉 Highly recommend. Martha is especially sweet.

Two months ago, I coordinated my aunt's move to the memory care neighborhood at Sunrise at Cherry Creek. Our experience so far has been very positive. The move-in process went very smoothly. My aunt adjusted to her new home more quickly than I could have ever expected. I feel that is due to the excellent care professionals who are there to support her, as well as the warm and inviting physical environment at Sunrise. Her care team communicates with me regularly with updates and any concerns. I stop by every two to three days to visit her, and continue to be more and more impressed. She loves the food, enjoys the activities she can participate in if she wishes, likes having the kind people around her, and knows she is safe. Before moving to Sunrise, she had three years of in-home care in the house she had lived in since 1936. Although the home care was very good, her life at home was quite solitary and monotonous given her mild dementia and physical limitations. Since her move to Sunrise, I have no doubt that her life is richer now in so many ways. I highly recommend it.

I perform at senior living facilities across the Denver metro area and am always happy to see a gig come in for Sunrise Cherry Creek.The minute you walk in the door you feel like you either just missed an amazing event or something exciting is about to happen.The place is brimming with warm positive energy and everyone seems to be thriving. There is a strong sense of camaraderie, as the staff build out additional programming with input from the residents. Worth checking out!

My sister lives here at Sunrise/Cherry Creek. My sister and all of our family have been impressed with how friendly, genuinely caring and professional the staff is. They have a very clean facility that offers many activities for the residents and has fun decorations for each of the holidays. We have especially enjoyed their monthly parties usually celebrating a holiday or special occasion. Tonight we attended the That’s Amore Italian dinner accompanied by an excellent pianist. We enjoyed our delicious dinner and wonderful desserts and look forward to visiting again and seeing everyone!

The experience my family member had was top notch! She had been in two other assisted living facilities before coming to Sunrise. The experience she had at sunrise was beyond what was thought she could have. The team was so attentive and engaged with meeting her physical and emotional needs. In the first few weeks The nurses were able to resolve medical issues she had been dealing with for years! Well done Sunrise you made her last few months peaceful and supportive to both her and her family.

My mom arrived at Sunrise Assisted Living on February 13, 2023 after a hospitalization and rehabilitation stay. It was a new facility for her. As the year progressed and her health failed, the staff at Sunrise were always kind and attentive to her needs. The staff worked collaboratively with Berkley Hospice in delivering compassionate and dignified care. Her hospice nurse described her as a fiery, lovely, passionate, interesting, and beautiful lady. My most remarkable visits were on the Saturday before she died. I visited that morning and came back in the afternoon. When I returned, there were fresh bed linens, a clean shirt, and careful repositioning in bed. Besides the care and concern for my mom, the staff have been wonderful to my husband and me. There are too many to thank and I would worry about missing someone so this message is for all of you. Thank you for outstanding and the friendliest care that I have seen and experienced in a number of such facilities. My very best wishes to you all.

As the need has arisen to find a place for two elderly family members, I toured this facility. Janelle and Melissa spent two hours guiding me through the process as well as answering all my questions. Sunrise is a lovely place and has an excellent reputation. When my mother-in-law needed assistance, Sunrise at Cherry Creek was recommended to us by her physician. After reviewing several communities we did decide to make Sunrise at Cherry Creek her new home. We were most impressed by the genuine caring of the staff. My mother-in-law became part of their family and she part of theirs. This became particularly important when COVID hit. They continued to ensure we were able to be in contact with her through various means and we felt comfortable she was in good hands. We also appreciated very much that she was able to age in place. It was so helpful to us that we had established a relationship with her care givers before she was placed on Hospice as they were as much a support to us and they were to her. The culture and staff at Sunrise at Cherry Creek is exemplary.
