I’m into my 5th year at this facility. My needs for assistance change regularly and are sporadic, so I’m happy that the staff here are able to provide the care I need, when I need it. There were many headaches and problems with leadership until Janet arrived (?maybe 2 yrs ago?). She is the ultimate professional: keeps the place running smoothly! My needs are met quickly and she’s also friendly and upbeat: I know she’s listening to me. She was in charge and guided us beautifully through the COVID lockdowns and problems. I believe we had one of the lowest rates of Covid circulating through the community, compared to other local facilities; I credit her with managing that whole crazy situation skillfully and properly. I’m sure one of her biggest challenges is acquiring and maintaining adequate numbers of staff. Each applicant must be thoroughly screened before being hired! But I feel that most employees are hanging in there once they are hired, especially considering the whole Covid debacle. Caregivers all are friendly and helpful; Janet has a terrific front desk (receptionist) crew finally in place. (I just wish she was given the budget to have someone at the reception area later in the evening.) Maintenance issues are attended to quickly and properly. I mostly stay in my “outside garden apartment) but when I do go into the main building it seems like it’s clean and no “funky nursing home” odor.

Right time, Right place, Right people. This summarizes my Brookdale Lowry experience. Dealing with unprecedented times due to covid, they nonetheless were able to provide the acute care and personal attention that my loved one required. I personally was also made to feel an important part of their community as well, with hospice allowing unfettered access regular reports, and a daily diary outlining my wife's progression or regression. I never felt out of the loop. My wife's stay at Brookdale lasted 20 months before her passing. Brookdale and their staff will continue to remain in my heart and prayers.

I see staff turnover is high but consider that every single position has to be cleared for crimes, each persons deportment has to be evaluated and each new hire must be accepting and loving about any quirks every resident demonstrates. Try to fill that bill on any job and there is bound to be a larger-than-normal recidivism rate and constant staff shortages. Very shortly after his arrival my brother was embraced into the community, he was seen as a valued addition and given the attention he asked for and needed. Concerns were resolved in a timely manner. Dining is not gourmet but the food is good , tasty and healthy, and individual preferences are solicited and fulfilled when possible. At minimum the food director will consider requests. There is a daily menu that rotates at least twice a month with several additional choices each week. My brother went for sitting in front of a TV all day every day to being busy and entertained with in-house activities and outings every week. He went from being grumpy to being satisfied to being happy. It is an ideal place for him and a convenient location for me. Brookdale is a blessing to my family.

What a great facility! The staff is always professional, friendly and helpful. I visit my dad frequently, even during non traditional hours and I always feel the staff offering the best care possible 24, 7. The Marketing, Social and Caretaker staff treat me and the residents like they are a member of their family. I cant think of an area where Village @Lowry falls short. Put them on your list when you need to look into assisted living.

The Village at Lowry has been a joy from the very start. The staff is friendly, caring and fun and very personable. My grandparents love living independently in a facility that provides such great care, meals and an endless list of activities to keep them healthy, learning and having a great time. If my grandparents need help or have questions, the staff is very responsive and helpful. I have found this to be true as well when asking questions or inquiring about their care. I really cant say enough positive things about this assisted living facility!

The building is beautiful, with food delicious and served restaurant style. There are tons of activities to do, so the residents have opportunities to interact with others. The care staff is very helpful, and overall this facility is truly amazing.
