I have worked at Springs Ranch for over 2 years and I've worked in the senior care industry since 2011. I can genuinely say this is the best place I have worked at in my career. Koelsch has a quality standard that is unmatched anywhere in town. The teamwork and camaraderie I feel when I go to work is a direct result of the leadership of Karen Young our ED and Victoria Lung our RSD. The staff at Springs Ranch are exceptional. They genuinely display care for each resident which is obvious whenever I visit…and that is often! I am very grateful for the compassion they show toward my husband (and me). During this holiday season they organized a wonderful Christmas party and provided EVERY resident with a gift. Observing the residents as they opened their personalized gift is just one example of how the staff is willing to go above and beyond to bring joy to the residents. My father has been a client for a year now and we have been very grateful for the care that he receives at Springs Ranch. The rooms are very nice. The facility is kept clean and fresh. My father loves the food with the exception of peas which he didn't like at home either. The food always smells delicious but I've never tried it. They make sure that dad gets out and about and is involved with activities even though he can't really participate in them. The staff is WONDERFUL! There are so many of them that are there for a mission, not just a job. They love what they do and they love my father. We are so blessed that he is there and being taken so well care of.

Springs Ranch Memory Care goes above and beyond ensuring the safety of your family member. They have everything one can think of to keep your family member safe. There is locked entry and exit to the residents so the public cannot be visiting your family member without a staff member knowing they're there and allowing them entry and exit. This also ensures your resident does not wander off. There is a Courtyard that is actually an exterior courtyard surrounded by the building so your loved one always has the ability to go outside, but can't wander off. The staff is friendly. My mother-in-law loves the staff. She thinks she is at a resort being paid for by her son, so, she's on a mini vacation. Only we know she's there to stay. The building is new, so the rooms are newer and clean and there are no nasty odors when you enter into the building or into any of the residents' rooms. The residents are all clean and dressed nicely. My mother-in-law compliments the staff to us on how clean they keep everything and how friendly they are and that is high praise from her. We have no worries about the care she receives there. I highly recommend Springs Ranch Memory Care.

I'm actually going to give 4 1/2 stars. Can't give a 5, just yet. My mom has been here about 2 months now. She has lived in several communities around Colorado Springs, and I myself, have toured at least 10 others. When I found SR, I really liked the space that it provided for walking. It has a nice large courtyard with a lot of rocking chairs for visiting. The rooms are comparable to other facilities. The sales office was a little odd. It's not very business like, almost like a coat closet and kind of depressing. I think it minimizes Gingers important job, which is to sell the facility! I visit my mom quite frequently, and I try to observe as much as I can. For me, all the staff is 100 percent helpful. Amber, Brenda, Jenna, Kathy- VICTORIA, and of course Ginger! Just to name a few. Ginger is really involved and ready to help as well as all the staff. Even if they don't have the answers to my questions they will find out and eventually get back to me. That's all you can ask for. My biggest complaint would be that I feel there could be more activities for the higher functioning residents. The activities calendar is lacking, and some of the activities that have been on the calendar, do not take place. Hiring some musicians and/or some singers a couple times a month would be nice. . A live person giving a sermon or a message once a week would be much better than sitting them in front of the TV. (I think they are working on that) Thanks Ginger!!! In other facilities they hire piano players, get a school choir to come perform, a man who does hymn singing. Please look into this. Music is beneficial and entertainment is essential. With the acuity of some of these residents, they need something besides bingo to look forward to. If this small but important issue gets resolved, I totally give SR a 5!!! That being said, I know my mom is safe and being taken care of!! Thank you!! Ps Yes, they had a flooding issue. So what? (I read another review. ) It's being fixed and they have a game plan that's working!

I just transferred my Dad here this week. They offer a variety of options to fit your loved-one's needs and go into great depth in explaining the processes. In my Dad's situation, the upset to his life came about very quickly and unexpectedly. Since I am not able to care for him in my home during his recovery process, a Memory Care facility was necessary. The rooms they offer are great in size and they also provide all the necessities, which was a huge burden off my shoulders since timing was of the essence. Additionally, several engaging activities are offered each day, which my Dad was instantly interested in. Each time I have visited, the staff is courteous, the facilities are clean and the residents look happy and very well cared for. Ginger has been, and continues to be, an amazing resource through an incredibly tough process. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you are needing information and guidance.

At our tour yesterday 8/23-All the staff were very sincere- welcoming, friendly and dedicated to the people they are entrusted to care for- like family. The place is very clean, furnished like home, wonderful and memory provoking artifacts tailored to each person and offers many-many engaging opportunities. We love the enclosed outdoor spaces and you can clearly see safety is a top priority.

As someone who works in Senior Living, I know Springs Ranch well! It is a beautiful community and has really stepped up to provide services that many of our seniors with dementia benefit from. One of the few places in town with full nursing staff 24 hours a day, which some seniors with dementia truly need and can't find elsewhere, they are able to help where others can't. The building is large with plenty of space for resident to explore and relax and has beautiful outdoor areas as well!

When I found Springs Ranch I was really despairing that anyone could care for my sister, who has complex medical and behavioral issues, combined with memory loss. She has 12 medication touch-points per day. Most facilities won't even consider a resident with such high nursing needs. In the three months she's been there the staff have done an amazing job with her care. They are both incredibly skillful in dealing with "behaviors" and kind. She often joins in the many daily activities, and has friends, of similar functional level, who she eats meals with. And the food is consistently good, which is SO unusual for elder care. So grateful.

Putting a loved one into a facility is no easy decision. My dad reached a point where we were no longer able to care for him at home. We tried another facility before Springs Ranch; however, they were unable to handle him properly. He's now been in Springs Ranch Memory Care for a couple of months and it is working very well. The staff is caring, understanding and overall great to work with. They are extremely friendly and helpful - even with the difficult situations. I would highly recommend the facility to others in need of having loved ones cared for with dementia

I have loved everything there is about this place and when something hasn't been right there is someone to help me fix it. My dad has dementia and needed to be in a facility that could care for him and his brain. We have moved him twice during this journey of his life and he has adjusted very well to his new home. Everyone is so caring and appears to love their job. He says everybody is very nice and are always there to help when he needs help. I know these have been trying times for everyone but they seem to have made it as comfortable for the residences as possible. I would highly recommend Springs Ranch Memory Care for your loved one if they have Alzheimer's or dementia.

This place seems to be pretty decent so far. Much better than most other places in town. I think we have moved my grandma three or four times and they are definitely better than the others. They still need to check on residents more. My grandma has had several issues and should have been caught and picked up on sooner than it was. Staff is friendly though and seems to be caring. Their COVID protocols are kind of silly. They make (at least when she moved in) new residents quarantine for two weeks when they first move in. But after that, they can leave the facility for appointments and come back in with no issues. I just wish they would use some common sense with these rules.

Covid -19 took even a more unexpected turn for me and my siblings. My Dad has dementia and it had progressed into a more advanced stage, the family needed to find a facility that could help us very quickly with placement. I had passed Springs Ranch many times located right off of Tutt and North Carefree. I decided to give Springs Ranch a call, boy am I glad I called, immediately I was transferred to Jesse Rivera (Director of Community Relations). I began to explain the dilemma me and my siblings were facing, right away Jesse began to relieve any concerns I had and answered all my questions. I cannot say enough about Jessie and all the staff in helping my family-Dad through a most difficult transition. The words I would use in describing the help we received would be as follows: Empathy, Professional, Detailed , Prompt, Attentive, Accessible, Affordable!!!! We used Springs Ranch for respite care for my mother. Its a beautiful facility and everyone was so kind. My mom was not looking forward to or understanding why she needed to be there. The very first day they greeted her with a hug and ended the day the same. The last day she was there she said she was ready to go but I found her hesitating, looking around. She wanted to tell them all good bye. They helped ease a very stressful situation for me and made my mother feel loved and cared for. Thank you to the entire staff for all that you do! Springs Ranch has exceeded all our expectations in the 5 months that my mother has resided there. The facility is new, clean and roomy and is clearly designed from memory care residents and their visitors. The staff and management are extremely friendly, helpful, and caring for my mom and after an incident recommended mom receive some additional care from hospice. The price was actually less expensive than another memory care facility in town where my mother resided for nearly 3 years. Springs Ranch also has a 24-hr nurse on duty and the staff can feed my mom. Food is superb and meets moms desires better than her previous facility. And with around 40 residents at various stages of memory care needs, there is always activity which keeps my mom a little more aware of her surroundings.
