When my father could no longer live alone I found Bear Creek Senior Living. The community director likes to say "it's like a cruise without the seasickness" and he's right! This place is definitely full service. All of the staff we have met have been wonderful. Having medical personnel on staff is a comfort. I feel confident that my father will be happy living here and his quality of life will improve being around friendly, caring people. I highly recommend Bear Creek Senior Living if you are in need of alternate living arrangements and extra care for your loved ones.

I was very impressed with this facility everyone is so nice and friendly very welcoming, and it is so clean and bright no more depressing dark dreary place for my mom from her last place, mom is happy here she says its so beautiful !! It has a homey feeling residents lounging in the lobby watching TV is so nice to see,they have an open area to mingle and can get out of their rooms I love it!!!

After a lot of searching, and frustrating dead ends due to facilities being full, we decided to try Bear Creek. There has not been one day that we regretted our decision. They have been amazing. The staff is wonderful and very caring. It's really clean. If you are trying to decide where to place your loved one, definitely check out Bear Creek.

My Mom has been living here in assisted living, for over 3 years now. She loves the food and she really enjoys all the activities that they offer, that keep her busy. Activities include bingo, bus rides, and arts and crafts to name just a few. On Friday afternoons, they have happy hour and my Mom really enjoys the live music. But, its not the food, activities or the live music, that make Bear Creek Senior living such a great facility. It's the employees that work there. They sincerely care about all the residents that live there and it shows. My Mom loves living here and I have peace of mind knowing that all her needs are being taken care of.

We were not satisfied with the poor communications and weak care plan at our uncles current facility. We toured several Senior Living Centers in Colorado Springs. Bear Creek scored the highest marks with us. The residents were happy and well cared for. The staff was friendly (knew all the residents by name) and always ready to help. We discussed our concerns about our uncles care facility with Tiffany, a Bear Creek family advisor. She bent over backwards to assist us with the situation. She listed the steps needed to get our uncle to Bear Creek. Tiffany received no response for her requested information from the current facility. Carla (Nursing, Assisted Living) tried also, with poor response. Both of them drove to the Canon City facility to interview our uncle and get answers to their questions and concerns, and were able to complete his admission to Bear Creek. The morning of his transfer, he was admitted into the Emergency Room. He was then transferred to a Colorado Springs hospital. During his four day stay in the hospital, both Tiffany and Carla stayed in contact with us and assured us that Bear Creek (Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing) were ready anytime our uncle needed to come. Our uncles health declined and he was admitted to the Bear Creek Skilled Nursing facility. While he was there, Nick and all the other staff members provided amazing care and compassion for him. They were very personable, proficient and thorough. We visited every day, his last weeks were comfortable and we knew he was being taken care of by the great Bear Creek staff. My mother was here for rehab a few months ago and I was very happy with the care she received. Much more intimate than some of the other facilities. I liked the fact that they have an assisted living in the same building, that may be something we need to consider for my mom in the future.

My father was placed at Bear Creek Senior Living when it became too difficult for him to live independently. The staff at Bear Creek were very welcoming, and always attentive to his needs. I am very pleased with the care he received. The staff is amazing - compassionate to the needs of their residents. They helped my dad stay as independent as possible and were very cognizant in helping him maintain purpose. He felt he was part of a community, which was very important to his wellness of being. I highly recommend Bear Creek Senior Living to anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility for their loved one.

What a amazing staff!! I was lucky enough to find Evan Jones a family advisor who walked us through the process with care compassion and a knowledge that proved priceless. After moving in the staff has been amazing from the waitstaff in the dinning room (thats open all day!!) To the care staff they have all been a Godsend... Thank you bear creek!

Terrible management and service. Terrible food and activities is the worse. There are 5 employees but only one person cares. I’ve seen the activities manage people sigh when being reminded she needed to start and activity. But she acted really nice when seeing that I was there as well.

My 97 year old Grandma -Vada has been here for a year. We brought her out here from California, after her daughter passed away. She used to own a home in Broadmoor, so its nice to keep her close to her former home This facility is absolutely amazing. All the staff are now our family. My grandma Vada is treated with so much love. Guys, the staff loves her...like their own grandma or mom. I Highly recommend this facility for your loved ones.

Our grandmother is a resident there and has been for about 2 1/2 years. She did respite care here before that for about two years. Throughout her time there a number of care givers, servers, hair dressers and PT have been more than helpful. However, a few have certainly stood out! We always look forward to being greeted over the phone or in person by Lisa Phillips, she always has a smile for us. She also always knows right where our grandmother is, you can tell she cares about the residents, our family. She has gone out of her way several times to help me coordinate things for my grandmother or get a message to her or a care giver. She is a HUGE asset to Brookdale at Bear Creek and has always provided the utmost in customer service.Will McElroy is another part of Brookdale at Bear Creek who we are very thankful is there. Will is one of a kind. He truly cares about the residents. He is someone who makes a huge difference, we always look forward to seeing Will. He is always so kind and takes a real interest in everyone there, which we really appreciate. Recently, he went out of his way to create a truly special celebration for our grandmother on her 100th birthday! Complete with decorations and a beautiful cake. He made a short speech and led everyone in singing "Happy Birthday". We cannot thank him enough for making her day truly magical! It is people like Lisa and Will who make us more than comfortable with our decision to have our grandmother at Brookdale at Bear Creek, they are like a second family for our sweet grandmother.

Brookdale Bear Creek took excellent care of my mother in law while she was recovering from a stroke. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make her feel at home. Friendly, caring staff and a clean, well-managed facility.

The most caring staff with an at home feeling, not the feeling of institutionalized. The Therapy department is amazing and work hard to get the patients back to their loved ones. The nursing staff is the best! Under new administration who has worked his way up from CNA to nurse to administrator. He genuinely cares about the residents and his staff. I love Brookdale Bear Creek and would recommend it to everyone I know.

Everyone I talked to at Brookdale Bear Creek (formerly Emeritus at Bear Creek) was very nice. I liked everything that they had to offer. The rooms were clean, and the sizes were nice. It seemed like it had everything my mother would need. The dining room was very nice. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very attentive to their clients. It's a very nice place to live in.

We made two visits to Brookdale Bear Creek. They came recommended by a pastor's wife who was a home healthcare nurse. I was impressed with the lady who was in charge of the memory care unit. We toured through the memory care center.

My sister-in-law moves in Brookdale Bear Creeks. We choose it because of the food, location and the employees. The staff is knowledgeable and caring to the residents and to us as well. The place is warm and welcoming. The food is excellent.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very nice and very clean. We had eaten there, and the food was wonderful. The dining room was really spacious. All the residents were interacting with each other. Brookdale Bear Creek (Formerly Emeritus at Bear Creek) was right next to the Bear Creek Regional Park and Cheyenne Mountains, and it was so pretty over there.

Brookdale Bear Creek is where my mother is at right now, and she has been there for a few weeks. She has not been there very long, but at this point, we are satisfied with the location she is at and the care that she is having. The people at Brookdale treat my wife and I, and I watch them treat my mother; they are just excellent. They are extremely professional in terms of their conduct. I also think that they are a very caring community. They care about the residents. They don't just do work; they care about the person that is there, and that is very impressive to me.

In April of last year, my husband moved in to the assisted living unit of Brookdale Bear Creek, and my experience was excellent. He had a one-bedroom private room. The staff was very helpful, and they had a wide variety of activities. It was really good.

My mother has been in Brookdale since September. It was very nice and clean. The staff is very nice to her. They have activities, and she likes the singing part. They are singing, and they gather in the lobby area before they eat. My mother is in a two-person room. It is a little crowded, but she doesn't need a lot of space.
