The pain that families experience when we have to accept that we can no longer keep our loved one safe at home is paralyzing. I sobbed every day for three months. Everyone I've met at Villagio Broomfield has reached out to support me: Marlene for being the glue that held me together, Clooney for making my Mom's new home feel like her home, Lindsey for helping me set up my Mom's room when I was so frayed I couldn't get a zipper to work. Crystal for the comforting and welcome smile that greets you. Tia for being so great to work with. Carisa for helping me with paperwork and taking a load off my shoulders. Eva for the love that emanates from your soul that you show my Mom and other residents. I can't overlook whoever prepares the meals that smell amazing and kudos to whoever hires your staff. A job well done! You have a team that you should be very proud of. They feel like family.

The care staff and facility at Villagio far exceeded my expectations from first contact they helped make me feel comfortable in this difficult process. This is not an easy decision, but they walked with me every step. The care and support my mom received was exceptional. I truly believe the staff treated her as if she was their own family. Everything about our experience with the Villagio was beyond impressive. I moved my mom from another assisted living facility to Villagio shortly before the COVID lockdown. All the staff are first rate and the facility is beautiful. Far superior to where she had been and at a substantially lower cost. The compassion and care that was shown my mom during her stay at Villagio still moves me even after her passing. They handled COVID restrictions professionally and were exceptionally diligent in providing opportunities for her to stay connected to her family. When my mom injured herself and was transferred to a rehabilitation center that was extremely difficult to deal with, the staff at Villagio advocated strongly on her behalf. I was greatly relieved when she was back safe, loved and well cared for at Villagio. I would especially like to recognize their activity manager - Jenn. My mom loved her and Jenn made her feel safe and loved during a time when my mom was confused and scared and separated from her family. Her attentiveness brought great comfort to our whole family and I will be eternally grateful for everything she did for us. I could go on and on about everyone at this place, from Marlene in sales to Crystal at the front desk - everybody was top notch! Highest possible rating!

Marlene was very supportive in assisting us in finding a new home for our mom. This was a difficult decision to make. She maintained very good communication and follow-up contact with us. She was very understanding to the our concerns, needs and did a wonderful job with the emotional aspect of locating a new place. Her attentiveness and customer service style was so needed and welcomed during this process.

I have had two loved ones in this facility. My husband was placed into the facility when it first opened and lived there until he passed away from COVID in October 2020. Most recently, we placed my dad in the facility for his memory issues. I have many things to say about Villagio and the people who have cared for my loved ones. The facility is clean clean. It has a nice warm feeling to it, with many communal areas for residents and guests to sit at and socialize. The dining room is wiped down and mopped after every meal. The rooms are pretty, with clean, like new bathrooms, paint and carpet. The people that work at Villagio are even better. Because of the length of time I have been associated with Villagio, I have gotten to know many staff members. They are kind and really want the best for the residents. They interact positively with the residents. My dad, who is a hard man to please and did not want to go to memory care, has told me numerous times how nice everyone is and how they "really care about us." The current Director, Carissa, is receptive to our concerns and has great knowledge about Dementia/Alzheimers patients. I rely on her to help our family navigate this very tough time. Carissa has assembled an amazing team of professionals around her! They care; they get to know the residents and what their individual needs are. This means the most when you have to put someone in a memory care! I KNOW my father is in great hands and I do not have to worry about anything regarding his care. When COVID hit, we could not see my husband except through Face time and during the summer, through the fence at Villagio. It was horrible but it was the world at the time! My husband stated that he never felt lonesome or afraid because the Villagio staff had become his family. When he passed away, the Villagio staff were there. They called us and cared for us for months to come. When we realized my dad needed memory care, Villagio was the ONLY place I called. This is a place that cares and loves the important people in my life. There is no other choice! I could not be happier.

My dad has been a resident at the Villagio of Broomfield since September of 2018 and he loves it there. It is a fairly small facility with 3-wings situated on a single ground floor, making accessibility a cinch. I visit every other day and I do see a significant difference in my dads state of mind. The staff there works with his memory and neurological conditions and have been very helpful in keeping him feeling secure, happy, and respected. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the staff there. The administrative staff, the nurses, the caregiving team, the housekeeping, and even the culinary staff are all so very kind and helpful in so many ways. For example, whether my dad is having a great day or a rough day, he is surrounded by so much support and care that makes him feel encouraged, motivated, and respected. They treat all the residents the same, there is no discrimination (my dad is Asian), they work with everyone, no matter their level of care required at that moment, because that changes from day-to-day. It feels like home when I visit there, the caregiving staff is not distant from the residents, they partake in games and trivia with the residents and often seen doing their nails, and just having a conversation with them. Despite their special connection and engagement with residents, the care staff is always on cue when they are called off to help a resident in need of their assistance, such as transfers, toileting, laundry (each room has their own washer and dryer), or anything else the residents call them for. The residents each wear a medical alert pendant and one is equipped in the bathroom of each unit. So help is always within reach. The facility is absolutely stunning and inviting. There is no smell when you enter the building and the foyer is spacious, well-lit, and elegant. You are welcomed by a friendly receptionist and when you sign in, you may be greeted by other staff members, other visitors, or even residents-it is a very laid-back easy-going facility. The administrative staff offices are located along one wing and they are the nicest and most helpful people! They work with you on all matters concerning your loved ones including care needs, medicine administration, activity needs, and anything else that arise. They always make you feel welcome, not as a client or customer but like family. Lastly, whether your loved ones want to participate in activities or not, they are provided in abundance. This social interaction helps stimulate and engage the residents, which I think really helps then with their memory care. My dad picks and chooses what he wants to do, and he is never pressured, but always encouraged and made to feel included. The activities are fun, like trivia and bingo, which even visitors join in on the fun with the residents, and they really like having visitors and family. I often bring my English Bulldog to visit, and she has been a hit with the residents and staff alike. Overall, this has been a great place for my dad. He feels at-home and he is well-cared for. I cannot say enough about how much this place has helped my mom and I in the care of my dad. Thank you Villagio!

The Villagio at Broomfield continues to provide exceptional service to my mother. She has been much more social and interactive at this facility. The staff have been ever so attentive. I am notified at any change from the routine. I find this level of customer service refreshing. I have had the staff listen to my moms history and provide the attention that she needs. I find comfort in the knowledge that her care is so personalized. The other extras provided add to the sense of community. Activities are well attended. Having a salon available provides a safe location to get oneself all prettified. The food service is headed by an awesome chef. The decor is so warm and inviting for visits. The feel I get is a resort-like facility. While the rent is lesser than my moms previous facility, there has been no lack of quality provisions. Extremely happy that my mom gets to enjoy her days here!

A+! We moved my mother-in-law into the Broomfield Villagio‘s Snowmass wing this past year. The move from her previous assisted living center was needed due to her advancing memory needs. The staff has been wonderful since day one being knowledgeable, communicative and caring. Just as important is my mother-in-law has not been happier in years. She rarely left her room at the last center and is now taking part in community activities and making new friends. The facility and her room are always immaculately clean. Each residence has its own laundry. No more labeling clothes or losing things. You must use a keypad to unlock the front doors both coming and going. Each wing also has a keypad to enter and leave at night. Very secure. It is also very convenient having the doctors, dentists and hairdressers making house calls. Moving a loved one to a new place is always a tough choice with many considerations, but mainly for their health and safety. I feel we made the right choice in the Broomfield Villagio. Thank you Carisa and the entire staff for the care you have given my mother-in-law!

My grandpa lived in this community for a couple of years. The staff did whatever they could to ensure myself and my grandpa are happy. My grandpa says their food is one of the best things there, especially the quality and variety of options. They also had lots of entertainment and activities going on. I have some family and friends who work for Villagio Senior Living, and I have had the opportunity to visit a few of their communities when i am traveling, including Villagio of Broomfield. I happened across them on Google, and wanted to do a quick review of the ones that I have been to. I truly love the feeling of this community. It is bright, wide open, and very welcoming, and has a few design features that I have never seen before. I have been here a few times, and each time, the staff has been very friendly, and the residents are very happy. I am pleased to have had the chance to support Villagio because I know some of the people, and they truly care about the well being of their residents.

They make any change needed to please all who enter Our Community. Some of the most kind and generous employers-co workers I have worked for. Compared to other ALFs that I have worked for in the past Villagio by far is the best place Ive seen and had the pleasure to be a part of. Kitchen crew provides great nutrition to go along with the wonderful care they receive from our trained care staff and well trained QMAPs. The Community is beautiful inside and out.
