It's a beautiful building and has great potential, but, they expect caregivers to be housekeepers and kitchen assistants, they expect 3 caregivers to assist 29 of the 68 residents on the second floor, while also checking in on those who are "independent." We order room trays and help people to the dining room. Our shower list for the day can be up to 12. Supplies that ate necessary ate often times not supplied as its the "families" responsibility. The overwork, disorganization and exhaustion of walking back and forth around the entirety of the floor makes staff seem detached and unfriendly when they are just trying to make sure everyone is cared for and have no time to sit down and give each individual the attention they deserve. It's not unordinary for a fridge to be full of moldy food in a residential room or the floors to be sticky or urine saturated on the carpet. Housekeeping doesn't care to work and management must not afford the attention to get things done. It's very very sad.

Extremely professional care team and management. They are a well oiled staff that support each other and every single member of their community. The care team and the care management are very well in tuned with the needs of their members and we are extremely happy with the level of care our dad has received. We searched for a community for 9 months and we absolutely picked the right one. I highly recommend!

My Mother was one of the initial residents of Ralston Creek memory care having moved from another memory care facility after bad experiences. When we initially met with the person (I am sorry, I do not remember his name), he was very friendly, offering us everything we were hoping, so we were skeptical after our previous experience. Mom had Alzheimers. I do not know the exact year Mom moved in, but everything was good for the most part. There was a major hiccup during her early stay, but after that, everything, everyone, all improved so much. Especially important for our Mom, was the person who would come in weekly for music and activities. Mom always loved participating in the music, for sure, being encouraged to play the piano and to sing. She walked the halls constantly, often singing, and many times the caregivers would join her in singing. I am sure she will always be remembered there for her walking and her singing. My sister and brother had the opportunity to meet and interact with the caregivers much more than I as I live 1000s of miles away, but they would tell me how much they loved and cared for Mom, and when I would meet them, I could see it for myself. I would highly, highly recommend Ralston Creek for any family looking for a safe, caring & loving environment for the parent needing memory care.

The care givers in the memory care unit are very kind and patient but very over worked. The memory care unit is constantly understaffed, which makes it extremely difficult to provide the needed stimulation attention to all of the residents. The management is uncaring, unsupportive and clearly more worried about anything other than the residents and family members. If you move out or have a relative pass away, be prepared for zero support from the management staff and borderline hostility. My experience with clearing out my mother's apartment after her death was no good and the process felt more like an eviction.

My in-laws have been here almost a year. The food, conditions and staff have been excellent. Just this week, mother-in-law died here. The staff made us coffee in the middle of the night. They saw that FiL was being fed, taken care of. The nursing through it was awesome. Today is Thanksgiving and again, they have a wonderful buffet. Some of those taken care of us and doing a great job are chef, Justin, Sophia, Donna, & shiela. Too many others to point out and thank them. Great job to RC.

Its a nice place and the staff seem nice however there is practically no parking. Whenever I go I have to Park offsite and walk almost 10 minutes to get to the front door

My Mom passed away this week after living 8 months at Ralston Creek in the Memory Care Unit. I thank each and every staff member there for the amazing kindness, support, care and love you gave my Mom over those months. I had a horrible experience with care givers prior to placing her with Ralston Creek so I was more than aware of how exceptional the staff were in caring for my Mom. The staff met adversity such as a short period when there was a power outage with creativity and each staff member stepped up to make sure the residents were comfortable and felt secure. Now, the staff has to protect residents from COVID 19. I was grateful that I had come to know those caring for my Mom before the lock down. It gave me peace to know she was in good hands when family were not able to be there in person. Each staff member from the front desk, custodial, to the care team were exceptionally kind and caring to all of the residents and families. When I first visited about a year ago, I wouldve agreed with the negative reviews. In the past several months, however, there mustve been massive personnel changes. The place is clean & well kept. Everyone who works here is friendly, treats residents like family. Meds & help with escorting or daily activities are efficiently & graciously given. The food is great! Others familiar with similar facilities have commented on how lucky we are to have gotten my dad in.

I have had many opportunities to talk with the care givers here at Ralston Creek Neighborhood. Each one brings their special gifts to work each day to provide care, compassion and friendship to our residents. These individuals along with all the employees here have loving hearts and the desire to bring happiness and a ray of sunshine into the lives of each resident everyday. My mother spent the last 4 months of her life while suffering from Alzheimers. The staff in the memory care area were fantastic! They are all so patient, loving and wonderful! My mother moved in approximately 2 weeks ago. The staff here is absolutely amazing including Ash, the chef and his serve staff. Already she says, it feels like family. They are so attentive and always make sure their residents are happy and comfortable. My mother is so happy and more social than she has been in years. Its a beautiful place that my Mom is slways proud to show off to her friends. Cant say enough good things about it. And the food is soooo good!!
