Once again I have to tip my hat to John Bachofer for putting on one of the classiest, best executed events I have ever attended in 15 year or so of Senior Living. No surprise…considering John B arranged it…but their team and their chef and David their ED made it truly special. Guests and residents alike enjoyed 5-star fare and a good time was had by all. Sending out a rousing round of applause for John and the whole team at MS Arvada…nicely done. (You all continue to spoil us.)

Finding a home for my Mom two years ago was very hard, I looked everywhere. Mom had the beginning stages of cognitive decline and so we chose the Assisted Living Care at MorningStar in Arvada. Eventually we moved Mom into the Memory Care apartments as her dementia became worse. I am so glad I chose MorningStar in Arvada. Had it not been for the amazing people there who helped guide me, I may never have had the chance to share a beautiful journey with my Mother. I wish someone had told me when I was first looking how important it would be to have a support system that would care for my Mom when her cognitive function and overall health declined. They truly were there every step of the way and remained dedicated to her care and well being. I am so grateful that I found them and thank them for the love and kindness they showed my Mother over the past two years. They are genuine, beautiful people caring for others.

My mother is in memory care here. Before moving her here, i toured many homes. I refer to MorningStar as the Cadillac of retirement communities. Worth the extra cost! Staff is friendly and loving towards my mom. Facility is clean and always smells good. Highly recommend!

I love my visiting my grandfather at Morning Star Arvada. I love seeing his new endeavors everyday. He's even picked up daily exercise habits. I am very impressed with the life enrichment team and all their strive to engage my grandfather. Lastly, chef Carla is top notch! Her homemade soup is out of this world!

There is a reason MorningStar Arvada is so highly rated. The facility is large which means it has a lot of amenities and spaces for social activity but the design of the building makes it feel like your going home when you walk through the front door. The staff are warm, inviting and very attentive to the needs of the residents. i highly recommend this community.

The experience with MorningStar has been tumultuous at best! The day after moving in they shut down the facility due to Covid. The Community Relations Mgr. John, lied that the unit mom moved into had never been lived in. It was obvious it had but he continued to hold on to the lie. The unit was not cleaned prior to move in, so family had to do it. There was never a credit given for all the time we had to spend to do this. Their only offer was to have the staff do it "next week" despite the fact that we had already hired movers and everything was already being delivered and we would not allow mom to live with the filth. At over 6k/month one would expect better. The turnover of chefs has been unbelievable and too many to track. Meals are hit and miss with quality & quantity especially since these have to be paid for. The wait staff has had turnover too but not as many as chefs and the majority are really good and good to the residents. Activities are not as represented before signing the contract to move in, meal policies have been downgraded but cost hasn't and cleaning service has been poor but no problem continuing to charge over 6k in rent. What that goes to is obviously not to pay a good salary to keep a chef!! The director, Cheryl, has never responded to an email sent by the family to her this summer in which our displeasure was voiced. It is challenging mentally, physically & emotionally to move seniors, otherwise mom would have moved as soon as Covid restrictions were lifted but we don't want to force her & cause her such disruption right now. The facility is beautiful but beware as looks are VERY deceiving!

My parents were in Assisted Living for awhile and the staff were present for their every need! They were like family to us. They have moved into the Independent Living section now but continue their relationships with the wonderful and caring staff. The CEO has been amazing in protecting the residents from Covid-19, when I hear on the news of not so fortunate residential and assisted living homes! This staff has heart!

Absolutely amazing to their residents, treat them loving and they care so much. But the loyalty to their employees is questionable. Ill keep praying for them, and I hope they dont fall apart like all the other communities Ive experienced.

Our experience has been so wonderful. Even with complicated processes due to Covid we have been able to get my mother in law moved in and settled. The team is professional, responsive and friendly.
