We went through a number of agency's before coming across Homewatch. They are amazing. So professional and they really considered my grandfathers wants and needs. Sophia and Brittany from the office always kept us informed and were so attentive. Our caregiver Karen was the absolutely best. She became like an extended part of our family. With our other companies we never had the communication we had with this company. I can't say enough how much they really care. We suddenly needed to start homecare for 96yo MIL on a Saturday this past October. Homewatch Yorba Linda was the first and only company to respond right away. Case manager Sophia was wonderful. She came right over to start service and remained until a caregiver could arrive. On several occasions she filled in and supported our hospice providers in the physical care of our mom. The team was there for us every day. MIL passed away on 11/8 while caregiver Marina was in attendance. It was her first on-duty death, and she handled it admirably. All caregivers we used were lovely and more than competent. Some however did meet our needs more specifically than others. Sophia was extremely responsive to meeting these needs as we expressed them. In addition to Sophia, we are particularly grateful to Marina and especially to Martini for their outstanding care and support. Thank you all!

I am writing this review to thank Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda for working with us to make my Dad's transition back home so successful. Their personal attention to his case and our family has meant so much! All of the caregivers that have come to serve him have been well trained and have handled our family dynamics very professionally. We want to single out two of the caregivers that are especially professional and always go above and beyond the basic, required duties. Mary (Maria) is a sweet, no-nonsense professional. She interacts well with the family and pays attention to Ken during her entire shift. She communicates with us when there are issues and describes her preferred methods for handling the bedding reset process and other duties. She just overall, does a Great Job! Iris is such a sweet, no-nonsense professional. She interacts well with the family and pays attention to Dad during her entire shift. She communicates with us when there are issues. She often goes above and beyond to recommend and bring samples of products and supplies that she thinks would help with Dad’s care. She volunteers to take as many shifts as possible to provide a continuity of service that is so appreciated. She is so attentive to Dad and always knows what he wants, when he wants it, what makes him smile, and when to let him have his way. Her love and respect for each of us really stands out!

My caregiver, Anabel P., is amazing. I hired Homewatch CareGivers to help me after a stem cell transplant to treat leukemia. As a transplant patient in recovery, I was not allowed to drive, clean my house, do laundry, get groceries, or anything else that would put me at risk given my compromised immune system. Anabel does all that for me with the highest professionalism. But what makes her special is how far above and beyond she goes to lift me up emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I have no doubt that Anabel's infectious positivity is a large part of why my recovery has gone so well. Homewatch as a company has been very easy to work with. Communication with the home office, especially Sophia and Tannya, is timely and professional. Billing works smoothly and accurately. I really appreciated the original interview by the supervisor. Each of the caregivers were excellent and caring. I had four different caregivers, each of which I got along with very well. Had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda. We hired Homewatch after careful consideration for a 3-wk period while my elderly mother was staying with us in our home. Mounir Hilmi is so responsive, professional and compassionate with work with. I really appreciate that he came to my home the first day the caregiver was working with us to meet us and to make sure our caregiver was a good fit. He took the time to talk with my mom and to connect with us as a family. And he was always available to answer whatever questions I had. He bent over backwards to accommodate my requests. And Zoila, our caregiver, could not have been more wonderful. She was loving, hard-working, helpful, and even took my mom to Mass (!), which was a huge comfort to my mom. I felt the team was honest and really terrific at what they do. I would highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again.

We had a very difficult past experience while providing caregiving services for my father. The previous caregiver was released and having a 92 year old in need of support proved to be challenging. I searched caregiving services online and found Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda. I contacted their office and spoke with Mounir Hilmi, Director of Services. I was so relieved to learn that not only could he provide a caregiver according to my fathers particular needs, but that he could do so on short notice. My fathers caregiver is a true professional. Claudia was very patient and caring. She was able to engage my father in playing dominoes (a favorite activity) and assisted him with his daily needs and activities. I recommend Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda to anyone who needs a truly professional and caring organization to help with their loved ones needs. Every aspect of my experience with Homewatch CareGivers was professional and caring.

Homewatch CareGivers comes highly recommended. They truly know exactly what is essential to caring for the elderly and especially in cases of dementia or Alzheimers. They are 100% hygienic and thorough. I know I can trust them, and they are good about contacting me if issues arise. My mother has moderate to severe Alzheimers, and all the caregivers are great and know how to handle her. Adelaide is a natural. She adds an extra touch as a caregiver. She is so gentle with my mother, and even cut my mothers hair! She also helps my mother feel respected and cared for in her home environment by attending to plants and table settings etc. She does an excellent job. Ana is another caregiver who is really on her job. She is diligent and orderly to a fault. She knows how to keep the ship is tip-top shape. She is great with my parents to and has a wonderful sense of humor. Overall, all the caregivers from Homewatch come with A+ marks. You will not be disappointed.

Over 2 years ago, Mirna walked into our home and brought in her own special kind of sunshine. What a smart, loving, reliable, extremely capable young woman! With her great sense of humor, she was able to coax and encourage my husband to do his daily exercises and daily walk, even when he had previously told me that he had no intentions of doing so. Mirna always checked to make sure he took his morning, lunch, and 2:00 meds, as well as making sure he took his insulin correctly. After helping him to prepare his lunch, Mirna sat with him encouraging him to hold a lively conversation. Although my husband was embarrassed and reluctant to have Mirna bathed him and changed his briefs, in no time she was able to put him at ease and even gave me helpful hints on how to make these routines easier. I cant say enough about how wonderful and loving Mirna is. If we could, we would adopt her; we already feel she is part of our family.

Irene and her team at Homewatch Caregivers have been just amazing and wonderful. Homewatch has just been incredible, extremely professional highly responsive, extremely caring and the quality of the caregivers is very high. I concur with the other reviewers that the responsiveness is often within minutes and the care with which Irene is able to match care givers to match clients is so appreciated. I live abroad and so finding the right care, care which I could trust and that would be responsive despite the challenges of timezones and geographies was so important. We have been kept informed on all aspects of my mothers care and Irene and her team always go the extra mile and well above and beyond what we had experienced previously with care providers. We were especially impressed with the initial conversation on my mothers care needs, Irene spent a long time carefully asking questions and taking notes on even the smaller details as well as checking in with us regularly instead of waiting for us to call. We could see that she had thoroughly briefed each of the care givers which gave us tremendous peace of mind. We are extremely grateful to Irene and her team.

I am Ernest Karpati. I am 92 years old. I had other caregivers but changing to Homewatch Caregivers in Yorba Linda was a great move for me. Irene has been so good to me. Each caregiver has been personally selected for me. I do not like getting up for breakfast, I like to sleep in. I can be a challenge. I have had the same routine for years and the caregivers sent have been sensitive and caring. I cannot hear so communication is done by writing on a board. We were in serious trouble. Our current caregivers had just not shown up one day to take care of my housebound father. My son found Irene and the Homewatch CareGivers by looking at the internet. They began service immediately. Such a relief! The quality of the caregivers was at a high level and commenced to form a relationship with my father which was very helpful in his last days. Irene always made sure the caregivers matched with my fathers personality and needs. She was professional yet caring. She spent numerous hours on the telephone discussing my fathers needs and care. I had taken care of my father for a year before this and felt comfort and safe going home to Montana and rejoining my husband. We continued our relationship for approximately two years with great confidence that my father was well taken care of during that time. Communication and the high level of care were consistent. I Have no regrets and ONLY pleasure knowing these people took care of my father!

My dad had a stroke and I called Irene and we discussed the needs when my dad returned home. Irene chose the perfect match in Delores! She worked with him the first day back from the rehab hospital and exhibited the perfect balance of concern and encouragement while getting my dad to do his exercises. She talked to him about his interest and helped him connect his glory days as a collegiate boxer to the exercises he needed to do to gain strength. She even asked him to show her a few moves which absolutely delighted my dad and made him feel like a person again. Delores was a true angel to my family since my 80 year old dad was chopping down trees the weekend before his stroke. His disposition and attitude was crucial to this recovery and she helped him set goals and feel a sense of accomplishment. Delores made a very stressful and difficult situation so much easier. After we saw him working with Delores, we could see that everything was going to be okay. Delores treats the person not the illness or injury. She was easy to share a house with for 8 hours which is an important part as well. I highly recommend Delores, Irene and Homewatch CareGivers. No one wants to be ill or injured but if it happens, they are the best people to call.

Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda became my familys outpost in the healthcare wilderness. After 18 months with another agency I learned what true athome care for an elderly parent was supposed to be. The owner, Linda, truly has the needs of an elderly person in her heart as she places a provider with each client. Dad was enjoying his days once again, as he was now out and about a few times each week and that included his fun lunches of the hot dog combo at Costco. He may have been in a wheelchair for his outings, but the provider gently re-introduced him to his world. I can truly say that his final months were enjoyable. A big thank you to Linda and her providers. As my days become more uncertain, I will be calling on Linda to find a provider for me - we have already talked about this.

Homewatch Caregivers cared for my dad during the last several months of his life. Irene and her team were wonderful. They took care of dads every need in a pleasant dignified manner. I loved working with Merle and Helen -- they were a real blessing to my dad and our family. When you are allowing someone access to your ill loved one, you want to feel a connection with the caregivers. There was one caregiver that my dad did not feel comfortable around -- one call to Irene and the woman never came to care for dad again. I totally appreciated Irenes prompt attention to any issue -- like when we needed to go from 8 hours a day to 24-7 care -- she was able to quickly assemble a team that provided excellent care for me dad. I first reached out to Homewatch Caregivers, as well as other providers, however after meeting Irene I had already made my decision. Even though we didnt need immediate care, Irene came out the same day and met with my family. She took the time to sit down and understand our situation. This really helped earn our trust and showed how much she truly cared for my family. Eventually, we needed help taking care of my father and Irene was able to schedule caregivers on very short notice. We worked with four different caregivers and all of them were extremely kind and professional. Irene was also available anytime I had a question or needed help with hospice care. Despite a very tough situation, the help of Homewatch Caregivers made it as easy as possible to handle. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of elder care.

We needed care for a few hours a day on very short notice. Irene from Homewatch CareGivers met with us that same evening and arranged the care for the hours needed. The 2 caregivers that were assigned to us were wonderful. They quickly understood the needs, were very pleasant, and performed duties beyond what was expected.
